MTS was honest, diagnosed and fixed the problem. I am very pleased with how my truck is running now. You know those disposable single use floor mats shops use to protect the vehicle's interior from getting dirty / stained with grease, mud, and oil while mechanics are working on it? I have a Leer truck cap installed on the bed of my truck. Some punk degenerate employed by MTS amused themselves by taking the time to open up my truck cap, crumble up and dispose of the used floor mat. Using my truck bed as their personal dumpster. Kind of defeats the purpose of the floor mat if the intended use is to leave the customer's vehicle in the same condition it's brought to them in, right? Put a bad taste in my mouth for what otherwise would have been an overwhelmingly positive experience. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality, reasonably priced service on their vehicles. I just hope they address this minor issue with the "problem child" who got a good laugh out of preventing MTS from receiving a five star review.

Instead, the text we received was a pre-approval link meant to inform us of the potential cost following a diagnostic. Unfortunately, this wasn't clearly communicated during my original call with Lou. If he had mentioned that we'd receive a text requiring approval before any work could be done--and that payment would only be due after the diagnostic--I would not have left a one-star review. From a customer's perspective, receiving a $200+ link without prior explanation understandably creates the impression that payment is required in advance. This was a clear miscommunication, and I'm willing to chalk it up as such. That said, I strongly recommend the business makes this process more transparent in future calls. Customers should be clearly told: 1. They will receive a text with a pre-approval link. 2. No payment is due until after the diagnostic is complete. The Monday afternoon before Christmas we brought my car in and were told upfront they might not be able to get to it until the following Monday due to the holiday.
