I have taken my trucks and van to this shop for the last 8 years. They consistently complete extremely excellent repairs. Their price for labor is really reasonable compared to other shops. I completely trust this shop with my vehicles and know they have completed great work. I only ask what I owe them to pay for my bills, I known I have been charged very fair labor rates and parts too. Beware of this business. Avoid using them for a tow. Let everyone know. ⁣ So. My son forgot to move his car and, as warned, he got towed. That's on him. ⁣ We received no notification of the tow, and had to track the car down. This company - AATCO Transmissions and Towing - charged him the unreasonably high price of $285 towing + $35 storage for the day. ⁣ To be clear I'm not complaining that he was towed, and we would have been fine paying a reasonable fee, but that price gouging for a 1.5 mile tow of a Subaru Outback is criminal! ⁣ I asked to negotiate down the price and they were unwilling. The part that got under my skin the most although was the excuses and lies. ⁣ "I can't make those decisions." "I can't call the person who does." "He doesn't read texts." (A tow company that doesn't take calls or texts from the office. Really?! ) ⁣ The owner was finally called, and he did answer the phone. After their complaining about how difficult it was to move a Subaru Outback from an otherwise empty parking lot (yeah, read that again) they dropped the storage fee. ⁣ After this, we contacted Nampa PD (should have started there) to see if they reported that they towed the car. They are legally responsible to do so. PD had no record of the car being towed (even though AATCO told us they did report it - another lie ) So, I guess they basically stole it! ⁣ And I'm not alone in complaining about this. Daughter's car was towed to this business. We went to pick up the vehicle and were greeted by unprofessional owners. Couldn't tell us an accurate time of when the vehicle was picked up. When we questioned them they proceeded to raise their voices. One of the owners assault me verbally and had the intent to cause me harm. This is a hostile business that should not not be in business if they treat their customers in this manner . I do not recommend this business to anyone. read more

This is the worst place to do business with . I went to DT Nampa and learned in a parking lot I had learned in many times before. Imagine my surprise when I came out to go home my car was gone. I called the number on the small sign I finally found and was rudely told it would be $365 to get my car that night or $315 to pick it up in the morning. Cash only! I went to get my car and after I backed it out of the lot felt my tire was flat. I went back to the gate and was told it was already flat when they picked it up. Funny thing when the tire shop looked at it they said the valve stem had been snapped off like if it were loaded into a trailer. I've contacted the company and they will not respond. They are liars and thieves. Do not do business with these shady people. They supposedly have pictures to prove they are right but can't produce them for me. Liars period. read more

I had called to get my vehicle towed to my property from another location. so I called AATCO and made arrangements. When I took my keys over, the office staff encouraged me to have their mechanic take a look at my vehicle, since supposedly they had "the best diagnostic equipment" I agreed and told them I was in no rush, with the holidays etc, and they said they had a full workload ahead so it would work out fine. It Sounded fair, so I left them my contact info with the receptionist who wrote down my info, etc. Some time later, I hadn't heard from them, and called to check on the status of my vehicle. "Randy" gets on the phone, yelling at me, accusing me of deliberately leaving my vehicle, due to not being able to contact me. Apparently, he accused me of leaving a wrong number on purpose (which I clearly did not). Why they never sent a letter to my address also did not make sense. Simply put, he was dialing the wrong number by one digit. He threatened to put a lien on my vehicle, etc. I was very upset by his lack of professionalism, on top of the immediate accusations. Ultimately, I paid the invoice. $65.00 for the tow, and $130.00 for a "diagnosis" that didn't even produce a single theory! They charged me $130.00 to tell me they didn't know what was wrong with it. Most reputable companies will normally not charge you if they can't fix it. These guys Are A TOTAL RIP-OFF. And VERY RUDE. Turns out it was a bad relay. Seems any technician with a single shred of common sense would know to check the fuse/relay box first? read more
