He shrugged his shoulders and says you don't have to come back you can go somewhere else!! He doesn't want to take ownership of a mistake that was done 2 times. Posting for my husband:…read more After 10 years of working for Firestone Complete Auto Care in Boise, Idaho, and after years of purchasing tires and services there for myself and my family, I never expected to be treated this way.  I recently called about a week in advance to schedule an appointment for a lifetime rotation and balance that I had purchased with my tires, along with an alignment and replacement of a tire pressure monitoring sensor. When I arrived, I was told they would not honor the lifetime rotation and balance because I did not have my original receipt. They could not locate my purchase records. When they eventually found a previous invoice, the address on it was completely incorrect and was an address I had never provided.  I find that extremely concerning. If Firestone's own records cannot establish that I purchased the lifetime service, customers should not simply be told, "Sorry, you don't have your receipt." After being a loyal Firestone customer for so many years, I expected much better.  Then, just two days later, my daughter--who has purchased multiple sets of tires from Firestone over the years--took her vehicle to the same location on a Sunday morning to have a flat tire repaired. She was told they could not repair it because they were too busy.  After everything that happened, I have completely lost confidence in this location and in Firestone's customer service. Loyalty should mean something, especially to someone who spent 10 years working for the company and has continued to support it as a customer.  Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Firestone Complete Auto Care again. This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I hope Firestone takes a serious look at how longtime customers are being treated.

I was greeted with a smile as I told them I wanted a new tire because this tire kept losing air and I assumed it was done. It turned out that it had 3 puncture wounds in it and they repaired all 3 and sent me on my way quickly without any charge! I drove on to Seattle without any issues. Just bad experience. First time they cracked my wheel lock key, no biggie it still worked. Then I…read moreneeded a rotate and balance, told them just to take it easy on the wheel lock key. They called and said that the key was broken and but could still get the lug nuts off just not back on. Okay fine asked for a whole new set of lug nuts with a key, shouldn't be too much right. 220 dollars or so for a set... so I found my own set at discount tire for 80 bucks. Dropped them off at Les Schwab to replace all the lug nuts with a new key after hearing they can remove my old ones just not put them on. Then I received a text saying my vehicle was ready, I got there and they didn't do any work and the wheel lock key was in the same condition from when I brought it there. Never going there again. Ultimately tire choice auto services took my vehicle in no problems, used my old wheel lock key which worked just fine. Got me taken care of in a timely manner and with super polite service from Caleb.

After calling in a tow truck back to Wells, feeling like our trip was ruined, we got word that a team of mechanics were en route with another replacement van and were going to repair the original van in order to get themselves back home. By the next day we were on our way and feeling renewed on our adventure! The Hop Shops service was expedient, friendly (helped me switch all our many things and gear to the new van), and very good mechanics as they fixed the van on the go! Our family got to know these great folks during our time together and we can confidently say these are great people that care.
