Soowon Galbi is a family favorite, and we usually go there for birthdays or Mother's Day, and it never disappoints. If I had to pick one downside, the place lacks proper ventilation, so the meat smell really sticks to you. Also, it'd be awesome if they threw in the steamed egg (gyeran-jjim) as a complimentary service when you order.

Nicely prepared, tender, and easily the stars of the meal. The misses: the spicy pork bulgogi was honestly tragic. 0/5. It didn't taste like bulgogi at all and the cut of pork was not good. Strongly would not recommend. The pork belly was just there. No marinade, nothing memorable. Maybe 2/5 and not something I would reorder. Banchan gets a 4/5. Not mind-blowing, but there is a good variety and they happily kept the refills coming. Service is an easy 5/5. Friendly, attentive, and paced everything really well. They cook one round, let you finish, then move on. Never felt rushed. Overall, 4/5. Come for the galbi and galbi tang. Skip the pork. Bonus, valet parking is 5 dollars. Slightly more than the area, but worth not circling for a spot.

We waited about 1 hr for a party of 6 to be seated, but I saw the waitlist before us, there were a lot of big groups before us. There's valet parking a little further down the street for $2. The waiting area is quite big too so it's not cramped at all. The buffet selection was pretty good, a lot of good variety. All of the servers that attended to us were great, my group was a little disorganized with ordering soup base and meat, as it was half of our group's first time having hotpot in general. I apologize for our chaos and thank them for being so patient with us lol. Will definitely be returning again.

The place area for this place was very dirty with lots of trash & hobo so I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone with small children or come here alone. The neighborhood is really sketchy and stinky with lots of flys. The front entrance was also hard to find and no signs of where the entrance was since good map didn't take us to the correct door. We also spent some time looking for parking but they also have a lot for $2 parking for customers so we just paid. Wished they mentioned that when I called so we didn't have to waste time looking for street parking. Food was ok, there weren't many options to choose from other than a few repeated items. The sauce bar was pretty confusing since their name didn't match where they put the sauce. The portion of the meat side were too little and can only order 4 at a time. We finished our meat just couple mins after it was on the table. It wasn't too busy when we went so that was good. Nothing special or good food that I would come back again. The price we paid for definitely wasn't worth it tho.
