overall, I was pleased with the service I received today. I needed a lock fully replaced (the interior mechanism broke and I was locked INSIDE the house). Tom the technician was very friendly and polite and showed up promptly. he carried everything needed (did not need to "go out for parts") and replaced it in less than 10 minutes start to finish, and even reinstalled my August smart lock for me. also, he had the means to make a couple of extra keys in the truck (which he tested - all 4 of them) so I didn't need to make another trip. read more

At 2:00 am this morning (7/31), my key broke inside the door when I tried to unlock it. It's an older lock that gets jammed, I tried to force the key to turn Vs. reposition the door to unlock it. Quick to respond to my inquiry. Took about 20-30 to get to my location. I have no issues there. The problem for me is the fact that I had to wait over an hour for them to tell me they either have to break the door knob by drilling a hole making me pay for a replacement knob or to find someone else. It was also painful to watch the guy try to pick the lock on the door for over an hour as the sky went from light to dark. The guy also had some sort of speech impediment so I couldn't comprehend everything he was saying to me, which made this a bit more confusing. No shade to him. He was doing his best with what he had. Eddie was so kind, quick - and I was inside within minutes. You hope to never have to call a locksmith, but if you do call MS. Their prices were also reasonable, and I feel like it's worth noting that the last locksmith I called (NOT MS unfortunately) destroyed my lock to get it open.
