If you don't know what that is, I suggest looking it up before you agree to go ahead with it. It's not acupuncture, but uses the same needles. I have been abusing my legs with cycling and the first time she did the treatment I was not prepared for what it entailed. When I left I wasn't sure I would come back! Through the week I did the stretching Barb told me to try and took a couple days off from cycling. The third visit (second IMS treatment) I was surprised how much better it worked for me. I think my first visit I was in bad shape and my body reacted to the treatment. So I do recommend this place and Barb. She was very knowledgeable and really attentive. Plus they have early weekend appointments. The one downfall is they don't direct bill to insurance providers other than Alberta Blue Cross.

Dr. Qais Janmohamed is absolutely INCREDIBLE I cannot thank him enough for helping me recover from a debilitating pain in my back that I had thought was chronic from years of injuries. But after several thorough sessions, at home stretches and exercises Dr. Qais had recommended my back was good as new and I felt like a million bucks. This clinic is clean, comfortable, easy to find, accommodating to your needs & schedule and the staff are very supportive, friendly, respectful and polite. Panther Sports Medicine has many locations across the city, but we were lucky enough to attend the clinic with the owner of it all, Scott. He was such a pleasure to be around too. He would talk to me while poking and prodding, and make jokes to keep me comfortable. I could tell that he really knew what he was doing. Perhaps it was because of all the letters and titles after his name! I was glad that after leaving the friendly environment of Life Mark, Panther showed me the same enthusiasm whenever I visited. The girls at the front desk were always happy to see me and remembered me by name, first and last. They actually let me take home and keep a book I was reading while having physio. I completed my physio before I could finish the book, and they said no one else had touched the book in years, so I could have it. It was fantastic. What cuties! The quality of service at Panther was exceptional. They first did an initial assessment to see where my problems areas were and went from there. I still got the heating pad (and a little nap) every time I went in, but they did so much more to my body. I had acupuncture and intramuscular stimulation, as well as full use of an exceptionally equipped gym. Panther provided regular reports to my insurance company, so they could keep their files up-to-date on my recovery as well. Not only was the treatment phenomenal, but so were the people! Panther Sports Medicine should be a top choice for physical analysis and treatment. If he should move to another clinic, I would immediately drive to that clinic for treatment. I have been going to Darcy for the last 5 years. I sustained a serious injury in a motor vehicle accident and though I have chronic pain from it, regular physio helps keep me moving and allows me to do things that I otherwise would have a hard time doing - specifically my love of running LONG distances. When I told Darcy that I wanted to run a marathon, he kept me going and provided me with feedback on what types of training would be best for my body. He's excellent with all types of patients and is realistic about what will work best given your particular situation. He IS a Canucks fan though and he does give me a hard time about the Flames. Sometimes I let him get away with the trash talk, let's be honest, the Flames make it hard to defend them on occasion. I should also mention that the rest of the staff are excellent as well. The other individuals that assist throughout the course of my treatment are efficient and pleasant. 17/30

I wasn't in any pain but my BC…read morechiropractor helped me to understand my spine and what symptoms to watch for after being hit by a car as a pedestrian. The initial examination was more thorough than I expected and on my next visit I got a chart indicating which areas of my spine were responsible for my symptoms and it really was helpful because that's exactly what was going on in my body. So often we self diagnose without including the spine in our assessment. For that matter many MDs don't suggest a visit to a chiropractor if their tests all come back normal. So there you are not feeling good but not knowing why. The initial assessment connected a lot of dots and Dr. Lamont recommended a treatment plan which I really made sure I followed to help myself. The results are really encouraging and I now sleep deeper and am waking more refreshed still a bit to go there. My digestion elimination have improved the most. No more IBS. That alone was worth the price of admission. Dr. Lamont always checked on symptoms before every adjustment and on a certain number visits revisited my initial assessment including a foot checkup. Overall I know sounds corny but I feel so much better more grounded for sure. Plus I can tell myself when it's my spine causing my symptom and when to go for an adjustment in the future. A great education professional understanding staff very flexible hours including weekends but the results are the best I've had for my health investment. They are all amazing, and it's easy to get into right away to see one of them. Dr. Lawson (who I have seen the most) is incredibly knowledgeable. Anytime I come in with a problem Dr. Lawson is able to pinpoint exactly what is wrong and fix it. I would never trust another chiropractor. He doesn't just crack unnecessary joints, and he tells you exactly why he is doing what he is doing. On my last visit, I had asked if I could be squeezed in if possible as I was leaving the country for 10 days and my jaw had seized up completely. Last time this had happened was due to stress, and it had lasted a week. I'm unable to eat when this happens as I can hardly move my jaw. Dr. Lawson saw me within 2 hours of me calling. He did enough work on my jaw and gave me exercises so that my jaw was better within 5 hours and hasn't seized up since. I was also able to eat on my vacation and enjoy my time off :)
