It would be that our AC unit stops working in the middle of the night making our home an uncomfortable 80 degrees in temperature. I called MSP based on the web & Yelp reviews and I must say, this company is a true class act. Don was extremely kind and willing to help us with same day service as I requested. Don was a kind and true professional as he kept me updated up until the technician, Brandon, arrived to our door. Brandon was extremely professional, pleasant, and highly knowledgeable in his trade. When we turned on our A/C Sunday afternoon, we could hear the unit short cycling every couple minutes (turning on and off). We had just spent several hundred dollars at the end of last summer servicing our A/C by a different company. They added Freon which they had also done the summer before. No one ever went into the attic to see if there was something wrong up there. I read all the great reviews for MSP Heating & Air Conditioning. They sent Jay out the same day who took lots of pictures of the equipment in the attic and thoroughly explained all the issues with our system, including the fact that the casing on the coil was installed backwards making it nearly impossible to service the coil. There was also a leak. We made arrangements to have a new condenser and coil installed, which happened today. Brian, Nate, and Carlos made up the installation team. They were all courteous, professional, and explained everything they did. I'm not usually impressed by service technicians of any trade because they often don't clean up after themselves. These guys covered our carpeting, wore booties, and left everything as they found it. We will definitely be using this company for future maintenance! read more

I cannot say enough good things about this company and their staff. My mother is elderly and lives in the high desert and had to have her heater and AC replaced several years ago. She was taken by one company when she thought she was getting an AC and a heater and it was only an air conditioner, no heater she also provides for a disabled adult on a fixed income this company was so patient with her despite her making numerous phone calls and being wary of being taken advantage of and this company responded with nothing but kindness, very polite, and very professional. They went above and beyond to take care of my mother and my aunt and I'm so grateful for them not too many companies in today's day and age have the patience to deal with someone like my mother doesn't quite understand how everything works or how things are done much less having to use technology. She became a nervous wreck after she had to provide her Social Security number not understanding that there was a credit check to be able to finance the service. They gave her a great discount for my military service I was extremely patient with her throughout the entire process. I highly recommend this company for any of your HVAC needs!! read more

The company provided a fast response. My AC was not cooling on Thursday night so I sent a Yelp request to this company. They contacted me on Friday morning and sent Brandon to check my system that same morning. He is very knowledgeable and did a throughout check of the system to find the problem. He asked me several questions to help him determine the reason for the low coolant. He showed me numbers on a machine and explained that the coolant was low and the system was working harder because it needed cleaning and coolant. He added 3lbs of coolant, cleaned the system for better efficiency and added a special ink to detect any leaks. My AC is now blowing cold air and the technician will be returning next week to check the ink. I had called a different company about a month ago and the experience was so awful I was left traumatized and wondering if AC technicians even knew what they were doing. I was genuinely afraid of calling anyone for fear of them breaking instead of fixing. I am happy that I found MSP who know what they are doing. I feel that I can trust their knowledge and expertise to work on my systems. I will definitely be calling them for all of my heating and AC services. read more

We are tenants of in Riverside, CA and our heat went out about 8:00PM on one of the coldest nights. Our landlord "handyman" came out the next day and got the system running. That night it went out again!! We had used MSP in the past and recommended them to our landlord. They came out and determined the very, very old unit was done and needed replacement. The new unit was scheduled for installation the next day. We had gone through 3 nights of sleeping in our clothes with space heaters. Danny & Russell (MSP) showed up at 7:50AM and worked tirelessly until 9:00PM that night to make sure we didn't have to go through a fourth night!! They coordinated scheduling the delivery of the new unit, the roofer and the crane operator to make sure they would be successful at giving us heat before bedtime! Edgar came out today to perform maintenance on my AC, and I was really impressed with his service. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to understand our concerns and needs. Our AC and furnace are incredibly old--my furnace is original to the house, 45 years old--and well past their lifespan. Edgar quickly assessed the situation and put us in touch with Brett, who helped us upgrade both units. The pricing wasn't what we expected to spend, but I also understood that the equipment was on its last legs. I could have patched things up and risked it breaking this coming summer, or fixed it now for peace of mind. With Edgar's expertise and Brett's guidance, we came up with a resolution, and they made the process smooth. The new system isn't fully installed yet, but I'm already grateful for Edgar's professionalism and proactive approach. This is the company you dream about if you need air conditioning. Brett, their representative, came out to see us on July 3. He was personable, articulate, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. We were familiar with the prices for new units per other quotes that we had received. Unfortunately, we had waited a little too long, and our A/C was not working at all. Amazingly, MSP came out on a holiday, July 4, and completed the new installation in one day. Danny, the owner, came out personally to work on the unit and make sure everything was installed properly. This is a young dynamic company that you can actually call 24/7 and they will respond. FYI, their prices were also the best we found. We are in shock and awe of the great service we received. We are also very cool during this heat wave because we are still not waiting on another air conditioning company that said they could not come out to even diagnose the problem for at least a week! Had the horrible misfortune of my home A/C going out during the first hottest week of the season. Buying a new home can be expensive but those unforseen costs can really be damaging to anyone in this economy. Luckily my unit had a sticker with the information to this great company already on it from maintenance from the previous owners. 24/7 service listed. An easy call later a tech was sent to my property to assess the situation. Brandon. What a wonderful, young, knowledgeable, professional. Polite, and assured our already worried minds. My air conditioning went down at the wrong time (100 degrees outside). All the problems were isolated in the back yard fan and compressor; Edgar Valenzuela from MSP Heating and Air showed up on time and assessed the situation and offered me an option of two repair plans, the first one was for a 1 year warranty at 3K and the second one was for 5 years at 6K to rebuilt the unit with all new parts, and twice a year maintenance on the unit. Edgar was very professional and explained everything to me as he went along. I thought the work was very good but a little expensive. I was able to get a senior discount along with a veteran discount which made it a little more bearable. I last communicated with MSP on February 6, 2026, regarding a possible resolution to my situation. I followed up via text on February 9, 2026, and was told there was no update. I reached out again on February 12 and February 13 and received no response. As of today, February 18, 2026, I have also sent an email and have yet to receive any reply. I have made multiple documented attempts to resolve this matter directly with MSP in good faith. The continued lack of communication is unacceptable and leaves me with no choice but to pursue other avenues to address this issue. In addition, I obtained a written quote from a local company for the exact same two systems. Their pricing shows a substantial difference compared to the $23,761.80 I paid to MSP, raising further concerns about the amount charged. read more

This place is legit! brandon was amazing. He was polite, friendly, respectful, incredibly professional and super informative. He walked me step by step of what he did and why (including picture... he took them in real time so I knew they were legit). He wrote up a report and explained it all. Kevin came out within a few hours of me requesting service. He saw I was struggling with the heat, (my AC went out) as I have a medical condition. He was so sweet, treated my like family, and quickly located the problem with my AC. He gave me several options for repair, explaining each and every one.
