I had an appointment with a service tech on my furnace. They gave me an estimate on my furnace replacement parts that was $5,000 .. and to put in a brand knew unit in whole it would be $8,000. To keep it short I fixed and ordered the part myself. I spent $85 dollers.. All that was needed was a Phillips screw driver and everything else was plug and play.. they say they bend over backwards to keep the customer happy and I feel like it should be renamed to bending over the customer backwards and take all they have.. i get it it's a business but your marking up your prices over 50 percent. And that it's wrong .. do your research before any service and see what it will cost you before agreeing to anything. read more

We scheduled with MSP (via Yelp) to come out on a Thursday morning after our AC stopped working on a Tuesday night (they could have come out sooner but we weren't available). Our tech Jayce arrived at the beginning of the 2-hour timeslot we were given. He was overall fantastic throughout the process, took plenty of time to explain (and re-explain) exactly what was going on with our AC, and our options and pricing for fixing it. He got everything up and running for us in about 4 hours with a great demeanor and customer service attitude. The pricing package we got was excellent (in my opinion) including some future cleaning/maintenance to keep the AC working. MSP never fails to take care of us. Our heater pilot stopped working and they sent Jay, the technician, out right away. He was friendly and professional when having to explain our furnace needed to be replaced. (we actually weren't surprised, we call it the dinosaur ) Thankfully, Brett and Jay came back that very evening to go over options with us. They provided great customer service! We were without air conditioning for a week. After talking to a few companies we came to MSP Heating and Air. Russell showed up. He checked our unit had a couple of ideas as to what might me going on. He asked if he could try a couple of things to see what would fix it. After it's all said and done our unit had to be replaced. Everything he used to try fixing the unit was deducted from the cost of the new system. They had difficulty putting in the furnace part of the system but stuck with it it until it was completed. It was a very long day. They had a positive attitude the whole time not one negative word was said. Price was comparable to others and financing was an option. Very good company. He cleaned the compressor unit outside, checked the refrigerant pressure, changed the filter, and debugged the connections. All in about an hour. When he left, the house was cooling well.
