Wowwww!!! A Hidden Gem here in the heart of Chino Hills mall. SilverLake Ramen has got all the right ingredients for a superb enticing dinner with amazing authentic churros and ice cream. The Truffle garlic oil Tonkatsu Ramen is well balanced and definitely worth the price. Add extra ghost pepper kimchi for that extra kick and the chili paste too. Not too much or you might just overheat. Diana my lady is service person is professional and outstanding too. So much food I could not finish it and needed a Togo package for a late night snack at 01:00 am. You and your beautiful family will love Silver Lake Ramen here in Sunny Beautiful Chino Hills. Enjoy the sunshine of life.

This spot was super clean and surprisingly empty when we went. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The ramen was good, just not amazing in my opinion, but taste is subjective! I do wish it had more spice. They didn't have a clear spicy pork stock available, so I ended up trying the spicy chicken stock instead. Overall, still a solid place to try.

Came here on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy. We got seated right away as a party of 5. Service was very quick, they took our order right away and got us water with a water pitcher. We had kids and they didn't have anymore cups with lids so we had a few spills.. we were celebrating my daughter's bday and we asked if they did anything for bdays. They said yes so we waited. Then our first server came to check us out. We also said it was our birthday and he told us that they don't really do anything but he comped us out sushi. Once we checked out, the other server brought us ice cream with churros which was super nice. The ramen was very good, sushi was okay.. but my kids really wanted sushi.. lol. They were also very nice putting all the stuff on the side for the ramen for our kids. Ramen had a very generous portion so my 3 littles shared a bowl. It was plenty. We enjoyed it and we'll be coming back.

The ramen broth was rich and deep, though on the salty side, but the meat was dry and the kale was tough to eat. The spicy tuna rolls and the chicken karaage were alright.

I was surprised that the place was so good. It's a r regular set where you can sit in a booth seat. The service was good and fast. They had little gnats flying around which I didn't like. We had Shoya on fire (pork and chicken), gyoza and an Asahi beer. Everything tasted great! We will return soon.

The broth tasted like it was made from soy milk and didn't have the authentic Japanese ramen flavor. The taste was just average. We asked for an extra bowl, but it never arrived even after we finished our meal. The indoor AC wasn't on, so it was quite hot while eating.

Spicy Chicken Bun - way too spicy and usually I can handle spicy but left my tongue burning for over a few min

Came here on a Saturday night for take out. Was told it was a 20 min wait for the food so came back exactly in 20 min, but by the time I got back to the in-laws place who lives 5 min away, the bun dishes were already cold!! It wasn't like cooled down cold, you can tell the buns were not heated and the meat was cold as well. I don't know if they just make their buns that way (majority of places I go to heat their buns) but for comparison, I also got the chicken Karaage and that was somewhat still warm, so it was odd that the meat was just straight up cold. Chicken Karaage - didn't have that punch of saltiness or umami that other Japanese restaurants have and was not crispy enough either -overall pretty bland and I think they forgot to give me the sauce since I saw it on the picture, but didn't realize until I was home Pork bun - this was the only decent item that I tried - the pickled onions paired well with this dish Spicy chicken bun -not worth the almost $6 price tag for 1 bun and small chicken inside. You are better off ordering the chicken Karaage alone to get more bang for your buck, but even then the chicken Karaage wasn't even that good - way too spicy and usually I can handle spicy but left my tongue burning for over a few min and couldn't enjoy the rest of my meal Setting: -there is a couple rows of tables so it's not super small like another location I've been to but I always see a bit of a wait to dine in It's a shame that I didn't enjoy the food at this location since years ago my hubby took me to the original location and I liked it.

We stopped by Silverlake Ramen in Chino on a rainy day with my family and it honestly couldn't have been more perfect. This wasn't my first time at this location either. There's just something about ramen when it's cold and rainy outside... and this place always delivers. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect escape from the weather. It had a steady flow of customers but still felt comfortable and relaxed. We ordered the Shoyu On Fire, karaage chicken, and some fried dumplings. The Shoyu On Fire had such a rich flavorful broth with just the right amount of heat... comforting but with a kick. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the toppings were fresh and generous. The karaage chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the fried dumplings were the perfect appetizer to share. Everything came out hot and fresh. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food didn't take long at all. It's a reliable spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy a cozy meal with family. Silverlake Ramen in Chino continues to be one of my go to spots, and I'll definitely be back again.

it's been a minute but the ramen craving was satisfied! service was quick and they seemed to have more servers this time which was nice. it's a chill "comfort food" style spot for some ramen.

We came in on a Monday night for dinner. The place was busy but there were still tables available and we were seated almost immediately. The wait staff served our waters and gave us time to order our food. We had the Tonkatsu ramen and the spicy karaage chicken bowl. The food came out not too long after. Our waitress were amazing at accommodating all our extra needs as we had our littles with us. She provided us with all the extra spoons and bowls for them. The ambiance is casual. I like that the wait staffs uniform were all Naruto. I do miss the big mural on the wall. It was painted all white when we went so hopefully next time we get to see some wall art.

Was missing the dumplings this time.

Menu is small but I prefer it that way. We opted for a Tonkatsu Ramen, a Spicy Miso Ramen, and a roll (sorry, I can't remember the name of the roll). Tonkatsu Ramen: classic ramen. Delicious. Broth was flavorful. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Spicy Miso Ramen: definitely not too spicy. Broth was good. Noodles were good. Toppings were plentiful. I really liked the way the egg was cooked. Really enjoyed this ramen but I think next time I'll get the non spicy version to really taste the broth. Roll: This was a really delicious roll. It had shrimp, benito flakes, maybe an eel sauce(?). It was a great roll. A good sized roll, perfect for sharing. Overall, this was a great spot for ramen. Left satisfied and full. Service could be friendlier but definitely not a deal breaker. Definitely worth checking out.

Shabu Wara has been our go to shabu shabu spot since moving to this area and it's been great. Service was never their strength, but we glanced over it since it's the only descent shabu shabu restaurant on the area. Over the past few months, service has gotten exponentially worse with each visit. Our final straw was being seated and left unacknowledged for 10 minutes. No drink orders, no "we'll be right with you", nothing... This would've been the point of walking out, but my kids were saying they were hungry and going to another restaurant at that point would've been too late for their bedtime. I ended up walking up to a server who was about to help another table that was seated after us and said we'd like to order as no one's helped us. After finishing what he was doing, he walked up to our table with an ordering tablet and didn't say a word, just stood there staring at us. He took our order, got it wrong a few times, then FINALLY got our food. Not one server checked in on us the whole meal. Not one server offered the check. Just constant flagging down servers for everything. As I mentioned before, I reached out to management via email to try and bring this up on a professional level, but my multiple emails were left unanswered. I write this not to bash a business, but in hopes management sees this and starts correcting how their staff operates to not destroy an otherwise good restaurant.
