The combo option is a good choice, if you want more for less. The Shoyu broth was pretty good, a little bit excessive with the green onions. The karaage was nice and crispy. The atmosphere is going to be nice regardless because it's outside in Victoria gardens. Food came out in a timely manner and the service was normal so that's good.

My husband and I dined in here spontaneously. We were sat pretty quickly, it wasn't too busy and it was nice outside also. Everything's kept clean, and it's a nice vibe. I want to say that the servers are very quick and on point. They were very attentive with water, food, etc. the only thing that threw me off I guess was our California roll came out when we were almost done eating. For food, my husband got the chicken broth ramen and I got the classic ramen they offer with pork. I really wish it came with more pork pieces, the only give you one. I found it to be very tasty too so it was disappointing they only gave one. The ramen is okay, it's not like bad, it's good, it's just missing the "wow" factor for me. It needed a little extra something! All in all, I've been to their other location and this one is pretty good too.

We went to Silverlake Ramen on a rainy, cold day because my wife was craving some warm ramen. Surprisingly, parking wasn't too much of a hassle since there weren't many people out. As soon as we walked in, the host seated us quickly and even offered some great recommendations. I wasn't in the mood for ramen, so I opted for the pork belly bowl and I must say, it was extremely delicious. I live in Victorville, but I would honestly come back just for that bowl alone. As for the ramen, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary for us. In fact, we felt it lacked some flavor. We've had authentic Japanese ramen before, and this just didn't quite compare. We got the ramen + appetizer deal and chose the chicken karaage, and wow that was tasty. I wish I had gotten the name of the host because she was incredibly attentive, friendly, and her food suggestions really hit the spot. The place was full, had a good vibe, and was even dog-friendly for our pup. Overall, I'd definitely come back, especially for that pork belly bowl!

I never expected to fine such good Japanese ramen all the way out in Rancho Cucamonga. I'd heard the name a few times before, so my friends and I decided to stop by for lunch one day just to see what the hype was about. I'm so glad we did because it ended up being one of the best ramen spots I've tried in the area. The noodles were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of chew, and the broth was rich and flavorful without being overly heavy or greasy. It wasn't watered down either. The pork slice were seriously thick! Honestly thicker than what I've gotten at some BBQ restaurants. Even with the generous cut, the pork was incredibly tender and easy to bite through without feeling tough at all. I also asked if they could make my ramen extra spicy, and they absolutely delivered. The added heat complemented the broth instead of overpowering it, which made the whole bowl even more addictive. This is def one of those places that exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

The Ambiance was great during lunch hours. I was disappointed with the ramen and bowl. It lacked flavor. Presentation was appealing to the eyes, but when you take your first, then second bite....no flavor.

I came with a group of 4 for dinner and we were quoted a wait time of 20 minutes but luckily we got seated after only about 10 minutes. We got a regular chicken karaage, regular chicken curry bowl, pork classic ramen, pork garlic truffle ramen, and a pork tsukemen. The food came out fairly quickly and I like how they put the utensils and napkins on the side for you to grab as needed. $8.50 Chicken Karaage (5/5) - The chicken was fried perfectly and there was a good amount of chicken per piece without it being overpowered by the breading. The spicy mayo sauce it was paired with was also delicious. $8.75 Chicken Curry Bowl (3/5) - This dish had around 3 pieces of chicken karaage in it but the flavors overall were good. I probably wouldn't get this again. $17.50 Garlic Truffle Ramen w. Pork (4/5) - The garlic truffle flavor was very prominent throughout the dish but at times did feel a little overpowering. It was still pretty good though! $16 Classic Ramen w. Pork (3.5/5) - Pretty standard dish but it did get too salty with every bite so that was a little disappointing. $19.05 Tsukemen w. Pork (3.5/5) - The noodles were perfectly cooked and the dipping broth it came with was served warm so that was a little disappointing. The flavors were good but tasted a little standard - I do think this dish was lacking some spice (costs extra $$). Overall, a solid dish but at this price point I probably wouldn't get it again. Overall, this is a solid place to get a real meal inside Victoria Gardens. The workers were attentive and the store was pretty clean but prices were just a little steep for the portion and quality.

The food was not good at all. And the customer service was lacking. I asked the server if she had soy sauce she said no. And they're on every table except ours, but the Ramen was not good at all. Will not be back.

I have been to Silverlake Ramen several times, and their food is phenomenal. I love this location. Last night, it was raining (perfect soup weather), and we sat outside--their heater kept us perfectly warm. The staff is always so nice and willing to make your meal a warm and fulfilling experience. Anytime I visit, I have to get the broccolini with sesame dressing. Tip: Get the combo bowl; it comes with a small side dish.

I will go here again. I enjoyed everything I ate. It was different for me with the Ramen but delicious. The eggs and the meat and broth, nice flavor.

It was good service, but the noodles were not great. The texture was thick and like a spaghetti.

Trying silver lake for the first time and here's what we ordered: * garlic truffle pork ramen * classic tonkatsu with pork * classic tonkatsu with chicken * veggie ramen * karage * karage bowl the ramen itself and broth is decent but i was not a big fan of their toppings. the meat is on the fatter side and truffle ramen came with shittake mushrooms i think, which was odd for ramen and i didn't like it. i usually like the black fungus mushrooms better. the veggies on top also didn't take the best. i don't think i would order that again the karage was pretty flavorful and the meat was tender. it took around 20 minutes to get seated but the food came out pretty fast

I usually ordered their Chicken Karaage Bowl, that one is delicious!!! Highly recommended. The ramen is not my favorite, but still good when I'm hungry. The servers are nice to us, we enjoyed our time

The food was really delicious, some of the best ramen I've had in California. I mean I don't really order ramen that often but I would expect a place that specializes it to be really good, which it is! We had an appetizer of grilled gyoza dumplings which were pretty fire! Had a nice taste especially with the ponzu type of sauce served with them! Now for my ramen I had the blaze with the extra hot! It was spicy but I thought it was gonna be a lot hotter since it was there hottest option. But don't worry, it had a good spice so that I could enjoy the ramen so I was able to finish it all. The broth was creamy and nice, I also switched the pork for chicken which was pretty good. My girlfriend just got the original but switched to chicken instead of pork as well, her broth was much more of a creamier taste and nice rich flavor. I would recommend that if you don't like spice! The prices weren't bad especially for the big portions! The service was nice and the food came out at a decent time so not much to complain about. The employees were nice and very friendly. The ambiance has a chill vibe, lots neon lights and nice art! I really liked the atmosphere, very cool and inviting! I would recommend for sure, it was a nice date spot! Would come again!

Then I thought should that be a sign...? but we still decided to give them a try. We ordered their onion rings, fries, vegan ramen, and curry plate. The ramen was okay. The noodles were overcooked and mushy. The taste was okay. The items that were fried was decent. Now the curry we ate was weird. It tasted sour. We've eatin many different types of curry; Singaporean, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc. We have never had that odd taste before with curry. Generally turmeric shouldn't be that way. We're our server know and ask about it (because it may have been spoiled). They didn't give an answer as to why it tasted sour until we asked again. And their answer was "maybe it was t to our liking." It was a strange taste... I don't know if that was their own rendition or used fish sauce or lemon grass or lime but it didn't fit right so we couldn't eat it. I still honestly don't know if the pot of curry was spoiled that we ate. The server (Sarah) did try to correct the issue by offering to replace the meal, and she also offered a small discount. We didn't see much that was suitable for us so we declined the offer. We left the spot and that was the end of that. The place was completely empty. No one was dining in. Now I know why and after reading all the other reviews regarding quality and taste.
