We really enjoyed talking to Alan and learning more the history of the house. And of course we got to meet the head of security, Mr. Cooper! The beautiful surroundings and the inn had a charming, vintage, and cozy touch that made us excited to stay. The owner greeted us warmly, and we appreciated the hospitality after driving all day from San Diego. The room was beautifully decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were able to take an evening swim before settling down for the night. When we woke up, we had breakfast right outside our room in a lovely setup with a garden atmosphere. I appreciated that they accommodated my diet and were more than happy to substitute food options to make me feel welcome. My husband and I decided right then and there that we'd be back for another stay and hopefully a longer one. I'd definitely recommend this place for a nice getaway from the city to relax and unwind. Our party reserved the Sequoia Charmed and Kaweah Gem Suites during our visit. I loved that each suite was walking distance to the river and that were lots of places to sit and relax on the way there. I stayed in the Sequoia Charmed Suite. There was a tiny balcony that overlooked the river. The outdoor kitchen was great. There were bikes to borrow, and there was even a ping pong table. The suite was adorable with a tiny kitchenette and a large pullout sofa. We really liked these beautiful suites. The owner, Diana, was thoughtful, and the suites were big, beautiful, and really relaxing. For our next stay in Three Rivers, I would love to stay at this lovely property again.

Shared outdoor kitchen had everything you could imagine & we were able to BBQ after a quick trip to the local grocery store. The privacy & river views are beyond special. On line pics don't reflect updates to the suite, teal carpet replaced with darker tile. Diana also accommodated our request to bring a masseuse on site for massages by the river. A gorgeous, tranquil setting & surely a destination for years to come!

My partner and I came here for Christmas weekend, wanting to get away from the city, and we were not disappointed by our choice at all! The rooms are redecorated, the food Jackie serves is AMAZING and they are both so extremely hospitable! The location is really great because it is easy to get to the local shops and the park entrance. I cannot say enough good things about our stay, and we will be back soon for another relaxing getaway!

Most of the breakfasts come with a special jam or sirup that is home made. The home has a very hommy feel to it. The rooms are very nice and feel like a nice hotel room, but no TV (not that you need) Fresh baked brownies sat in the kitchen! Don't bring pets if going to the national parks they cant really do much! Hairdryer in the hall to share if you need! They have a deck on the second floor with a fridge and table/chairs for sharing with other guest (note a room does sit behind with a window) Did I mention FRESH baked brownies sat in the kitchen?

Sequoia Ranch fit the bill since we wanted to be close to the south entrance of Sequoia National Park. The staff is excellent - fast, friendly check in and helpful with questions. We opted for site T6, a no hookup site since we have solar and wanted full sun and clear sky for Starlink so we can work. The swimming hole in the river is quite nice, we took our chairs and books down each afternoon and sat in the water to cool off. The approach road, North Fork Drive, is good for an early morning walk or run. We saw deer several times, and a few places have horses. Noise is minimal overall, there were only a few other campers that came and went in the dry camping areas who had generators, and they were all a good distance away. And if you need a few groceries, Village Market in Three Rivers is about seven minutes away - prices what you'd expect, surprising selection of beer and wine, and all the other staples you need. Save room for the BBQ!

There…read moreis a entrance fee of $35 as of 7/15/18 to get into the park or you can buy the annual pass of $80 for unlimited visits. You must booked the campsite in advance through reserve America. I booked site 121 which is fairly large lot that comes with basics of bear box, picnic table, and parking lot. It also had additional or extra bear box if needed. This spot was right next to the bathroom, so that could be a good or bad thing. Plenty of trees for shade. The ranger who work there, was quite friendly and helpful! Tips + there is a small little area with water, near the entrance which is great for little kids. Plenty of trees and shade to hangout. + payphone located by the entrance. (No reception at all!) + maps and information on activities located at the front entrance. Overall, great camping experience!
