Not bad! I'm really big on hibachi restaurant; they're some of my favorite. This place was long bad at all--Better than nasty Benihana lol. My family and I celebrated my grandfathers birthday--The chef was funny and kept us entertained the entire time. I had the shrimp and lobster--No complains. Great portions; had plenty to take home for leftovers.

We arrived at the time of our Reservation and the Hibachi grill was ready and waiting for us. The waitress took our drink order and returned quickly with the drinks and took our dinner orders. All 4 of us got Filet Mignon 2 of also got Scallops. The Hibachi Chef was the LEAST entertaining of any I have had before, but he did a great job in cooking the Filet Mignon to a medium temperature. He did the, shoot the zucchini in your mouth thing, but we didn't get any Sake or any water sprayed at the kids. That said, the quality of the food is the most important and we were all pleased. The only issue I had was with the noodles, they were not as good as other Hibachi Restaurants that we have visited. This location is closer then then our #1 Hibachi Restaurant and the quality was not that far off, so we WILL be back.

Came here at the recommendation of a friend who lives in the area. It was easy to find in a rather large shopping center with plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant. So glad we stopped in. The place was busy but we were seated right away. We had several fresh made sushi which was delicious. The service was great and our server was very attentive. I was somewhat undecided and the server was a great help. We only had sushi so can not speak for the hibachi side. We left with full bellies and even had some leftovers.

Really impressed with this restaurant! I went here on a Friday night with my fiancé. The service was very quick and the atmosphere was also great. We both really enjoyed our meals and we can't wait to visit here again soon! It's also BYOB, which is certainly a plus. I highly recommend coming here!

Me and son went here for the first time. The outside looked completely different than the inside. It a beautiful restaurant. The staff was nice, courteous and polite. We came for lunch. We love our hibachi and sushi. It was really really good. Definitely come back to very soon. My fiancé saw the pics of the food and said nxt time he's coming with us. Lol Would highly recommend to family, friends and complete stranger if asked. A+++++++++ Go to Mt Fuji Japanese Restaurant you wont regret it.

If you're looking for really good sushi and Japanese food, I recommend this place. I saw Japanese…read morecustomers dining there. It's a good sign that that they serve legit food. Enoki and egg soup is my favorite appetizer. Light broth with umami and perfect saltiness. My second favorite appetizer is agedashi tofu. So silky like pudding with light teriyaki broth. Beef roll up with scallions: beef is tender with some kind of sweet teriyaki sauce. It's pretty good. Eggplant filled with ground chicken. It looks appealing but unfortunately a bit too greasy. The sushi here is very special. The sushi rice is silky and moist. The fish piece is bigger than the rice. The eel is a must try here. It's very big compared to the rice underneath it. It very flavorful too. Mt entree is steamed salmon with seafood broth. I recommend squirting the lemon to the broth to make it taste like yuzu sauce as it lightens the whole dish and makes it less fishy.

PRO: I will say, if you want a place where you can sit and have a conversation, dark mood lighting (especially forgiving if the last time you saw each other alot was 20 years ago! - LOL), Sagami is an excellent choice. PRO: They don't rush you out - take your time. It was a Thursday night, so not especially busy when we came at 6:30 PM. CON: I could not find an updated menu online - I'm one of those people who like to peruse a menu in advance. I started with a vegetable tempura appetizer ($10) - excellent, light, airy, tasty. My main was the dragon roll - very tasty. Service was quite nice. Appetizers came out almost immediately, the rolls took a lot longer to get to our table. This is the kind of place where you're not paying to fill up your belly - but if you do, expect to shell out some bucks.
