The food & drinks at Mt Fuji Hibachi never disappoints. The scallops are delicious and always so tender; grilled to perfection. They also have a sushi bar. The service tends to be hit or miss but always prompt. The chefs are always phenomenal. They are often reluctant to seat parties of two at the grilles but insist that you'll wait if you prefer your food cooked in front of you. Overall Mt. Fuji is one of my fav Hibachi restaurants. It's a cool vibe and well decorated.

I came at 5pm to avoid the crowds. Yay! Seated very quickly. Very cute water feature with Koi fish swimming around and cute statues and beautiful wooden table. You can eat at the bar or you can eat at a hibachi table or you could dine in a regular table. So I said I had a regular cable and ordered Takoyaki and salmon teriyaki. He came with a ginger salad and miso soup. The salmon was gigantic and very flavorful and tasted so fresh. Everything was flavorful and tasted fresh. Service was great you had two different waiters per table making sure everything was OK. The drinks for topped!

Average hibachi. Service was good and food was fine. This place was highly recommend to me but it wasn't anything special.

We went for lunch at the hibachi side and they did not have any rice. It was the most bizarre thing. Never going back.

The inside is set up for dining, but these days it looks like they are a takeout place. The sushi bar seats are gone and some of the booths were full of back stock, to-go packaging and menus. They gave me a 25 min time for pickup, but were delayed. When I arrived there was a line of 8 or so people waiting for orders. The staff was nice, but busy. The sushi chef was busy working away on orders. I've heard good things about their sushi, so I'll have to try it on another visit. As for their food, the General Tso's was a good portion, not spicy even though I asked for it spicy and overall it was typical for most places. I would order it again, but my regular spot is better. The Teriyaki chicken smelled wonderful, was a good portion, but the chicken was a little chewy with poor texture. It came with a small miso soup that was good. The pork lo mein gave my wife a headache. They use MSG here. I had the leftovers and again just ordinary lo mein. Their house broth in the wonton soup is darker and possibly a beef broth. It was a little on the sweeter side. Their rice was dry and forgettable, but it's just plain white rice, so mixing it in with the dishes yielded some flavor. Price to feed everyone was over $50 with some pork eggrolls, which I didn't try. Aside from possibly trying their sushi, I don't see a reason to stray from my usual joint, however from the volume of take out orders I witnessed while I was waiting, they must be popular for the area. If they use MSG (no notice on menu that they don't), I wouldn't repeat.

The egg drop soup is also very much a soup I enjoy . They add the crunchy things you dip into duck sauce and munch on or float on top of soup so they usually complementary. We also tried the spicy pepper noodle dish, which had a really nice kick without the spice overpowering everything else. The sweet potato tempura was another highlight. Overall, Roots is a great option in Princeton when you're craving Thai food, especially if you like bold flavors and a little heat. It's located in a strip mall and all the customers were non-asian...that should have been a sign. The Hot and Sour Soup and Wonton Soups were just OK. A bit salty for my taste actually. The LoMein noodles with shrip were a disappointment @ $20 per bowl. The noodles were overcooked with too much water remaining in the bowl it was served in. The shrimp was not high quality, and there were minimal vegetables in the dish. Overall, not worth the asking price. I'm not from the Princeton area which has a wealth of ethnic cuisine, but unfortunately would not be one I'd recommend.

I could tell by the parking lot. The parking lot was rather small so it can get crowded quickly. I suggest making a reservation and getting their a little early to account for parking. Soon after our waitress came and explained the menu and took our drink and food orders. She was very kind, and attentive. For drinks we ordered prosecco, and a tequila sunrise. Both of the drinks were delicious and refreshing. The tequila sunrise was very balanced and had a good flavor. For food I ordered the seafood gumbo. The gumbo was okay. Could have used more flavor and seafood. My friends ordered the salad and lobster bisque which they enjoyed. The ambiance was nice as all Blue Sundays are decorated eloquently and classy. They were playing R&B music and the right volume so you can still have conversations with your party. Overall, it was a a great experience. I think I prefer the locations in Maryland more but it was still a great time. Cheers!

The Peking duck and lobster fried rice are delicious, and the cocktails are equally well-crafted. Service is generally very good. Parking was easy to find outside, and I was welcomed and greeted nicely upon entering. They provided me with a veggie menu upon seating me, which I really appreciated. I also had the pleasure of being waited on by the very handsome Vinny. He checked in on me often and made sure I was enjoying my meal. The edamame dumplings were pretty good! I had imagined whole edamame beans, but they were mashed inside, which was definitely a surprise. Also had the wasabi mashed potatoes, which had a very unique flavor that I hadn't had before. We made a reservation for 5:30 tonight and were seated toward the back near the bar. Service: 5 stars. Our server, Ryan F., was excellent. He was very personable, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He had the entire menu memorized and was able to explain the ingredients and dishes in detail. His level of service definitely added to the experience. Drinks: We started with the Honor cocktail, which was citrusy, refreshing, and a nice way to start the evening. Later, I ordered the lychee martini, one of my favorites, and it was just as good as I remembered. Food: For appetizers, we shared the tuna tartare spring rolls, yellowtail sashimi, and shrimp dumplings. The tuna tartare spring rolls and yellowtail were both very good and flavorful. The shrimp dumplings, however, were just okay and didn't really stand out. We've had better elsewhere. For our mains, I ordered the miso cod and crab fried rice, and both were absolutely delicious. The miso cod was flavorful and satisfying, and the crab fried rice was one of the highlights of the meal. Both brought back the flavors I remembered from our past visits. Hubby ordered the wok cashew chicken, which he found just okay and not particularly memorable. Overall: A very good dining experience, but not everything was a home run. The service was outstanding, and the miso cod, crab fried rice, and lychee martini were the highlights for me. A couple of the dishes were less impressive, especially considering the prices. Still, it was great to revisit Buddakan in Philly. There are several other dishes I'd like to try, so I'm looking forward to another dinner here.
