About $1000 later, my pup went to med vet who removed the cast and said the x ray was misread. When I tried to get my money back, little Timmy wouldn't give it to me. Done with him. He's very short and rude. What I call little man's syndrome

Dr Fouts is knowledgeable and caring with my pets. I have been through some very rough times with them such as a difficult euthanasia and a pet with a chronic illness and they have made the experience wonderful. The front desk staff are rockstars and know me by name when I come in. They are friendly and engaging. I have interacted with Dr Hopping, although she has not seen my animals, and she seems great as well. The hospital is beautiful and clean. If I need a medication or food they look into ordering it for me. Their prices are reasonable. My pets actually enjoy coming here, as do I. Calls and lab results are returned promptly and appointments are easy to obtain. They do some neat adoption events and open houses through out the year, so keep an eye out for those. I really could go on and on, but you have to see for yourself. If you want the best care for your pet, this is your place!

They offer 24hr on call emergency care and my 14 y/o 85lb husky dane mix had collapsed and due to covid I had no help to get him up and to the vet. I knew it was time, and these guys came right to my house. Dr Schram was so compassionate and comforting at a rough time. They were respectful and did not rush me. Price was reasonable for an emergency house visit. The aftercare and return of ashes went smoothly, and again, was reasonably priced. They even made a clay nose/paw print as well as a stamped one which meant so much to me. My second experience was also wonderful, but again under unfortunate circumstances. I had just rescued a puppy several months prior, and on Halloween of all nights, he started vomiting non stop. I called ahead and spoke to the vet and after some back and forth and some observation, I headed down to the clinic around 11pm. Despite having numerous other worse emergencies pop up they kept in constant communication with me and were very compassionate. Dr Patchel as well as a newer female vet (I feel so bad I forget her name) were wonderful. The price was reasonable compared to larger emergency/specialty hospitals in the area and it feels like just going to your regular day time vet. Luckily he didnt need surgery that evening, we did a wait and see, but they checked up on him first thing Monday and sent everything over to my regular vet when he did indeed need surgery. While I don't use them for my daytime vet, as they are a little bit further from my home, I imagine they are wonderful for that as well! They also do farm animals and regularly scheduled house calls!

Months after the surgery she was having pain and swelling. Took her to our local vet and was told by the substitute vet she "was above his pay grade". Left there with no treatment or ideas and $400 lighter for absolutely no medical care. Called this vet. They gave me an immediate appointment. She was checked. Problem identified and meds provided that immediately provided her relief. That was great right? Well it gets better. I received phone calls from the vet tech and from the vet checking on my little earless girl. Above and beyond doesn't cover it. I have returned with another dog that my usual vet could not help. This vet figured it out. Got X-rays and gave me a game plan on what we could do next. Plain language with care. And every staff member I've spoken with has been kind, helpful and concerned. It's worth the drive to have all that. I realize people may have different experiences and I can't say that they were right or not. I can only say my experience was awesome. I don't want to have to go to the vet. But if I do this is where I will go.

One is still working through recovery but the larger one is ready to get on with it! I had a recommendation from a Bulldog Rescue to use them. We got an Appt. within days & the surgery was the next week. I cannot get that here with our regular Vet. Although it was a 3 hr drive for us, I know of no one else doing these surgeries with this much experience, so we were willing to make the trip. Additionally, the cost was highly within reason.

I go to either the Anderson or the Amelia location. There are no other Vets for me!…read more We have had 2 cats and 2 dogs since we found this vet and before finding "All Creatures Animal Hospital" we had really high bills and marginal care for our pets. These people have animals themselves but they do no expect you to endure payments higher than your mortgage to keep pets healthy. They spay and rescue animals and offer them for adoption. Our little "Scrappy" is a rescue from this place and we LOVE the boarding service out in Amelia. Our basset "Dude" was cared for at All Creatures before we finally had to make the difficult decision to put him down and you will not find more caring and loving people to take you through that process. The husband and wife team that normally cares for our pets were out and we had a great Dr. England and another lady "tag team" the situation and we got test results and assistance to help us make "end of life" decisions for the coolest dog we'd ever loved........don't go anywhere else!

This hospital is now owned by a corporation called Encore Vet in New York State. My opinion of…read moreEncore is that they are all about money and have zero interest in providing veterinary care. The staff at Lake Pointe is tremendous. However, their x-ray machine has been inoperable now for about 8 weeks! Any procedure requiring an x-ray cannot be performed. You will still pay for the office visit even though the service cannot be provided. We took our pet that has cardiomyopathy to Lake Pointe to have its chest tapped to remove excess fluid. This requires that an x-ray be done to locate the needle insertion point. Since the x-ray unit was still in need of repair or replacement they could not perform the procedure. They referred us to the local VEG emergency hospital where we paid an $1100 bill for their services. I have reported Encore Vet to the Ohio Veterinary board for investigation. To have an x-ray unit out of service for 8 weeks shows how little they care about providing care for animals. I repeat, they are in it for money and nothing else. I also repeat that the Lake Pointe staff in Amelia are great but their lack of support from the corporate ownership has caused me to find a new veterinary clinic. If zero stars were a choice, that would be my rating. I do not recommend Lake Pointe in Amelia due to corporate's lack of caring.
