The overall environment is uncomfortable and entirely lacks customer service. While I was waiting after choosing my color, an entitled customer ("Karen" energy) walked right in front of me, completely ignoring my personal space to the point of almost hitting me, and actually tried to sit in the pedicure chair assigned to me. I literally had to say, "Excuse me." The staff did absolutely nothing to manage the situation. As for the service itself, it felt like they gave me the least skilled technician in the room. She was very cold and rigid at first, only warming up toward the end because I went out of my way to be gentle and kind. She even tried to correct me on something unnecessarily. To make matters worse, my toenail polish has already chipped, leaving me highly doubtful that she even bothered to apply a top coat. My nails are ok but I did have to assert in a kind manner that I wanted the job to look pristine. When it was time to pay, the nail tech tacked on an unexpected additional charge at the last minute as if I'm an idiot, I had even asked for a price quote before she began each service...money is not the issue but I value honesty and transparency. The young man managing the register (who looked like he may or may not have been the owner's son) handled a minor cash miscalculation in the worst way possible. Even though I clearly had a handful of cash and was just counting it out, he corrected me in an incredibly loud, hostile tone so that the entire shop could hear. It was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I will definitely not be back. The lack of basic courtesy and quality here is glaring. Moving forward, I'd honestly rather wait until I travel to my favorite salon in Davis Island, Tampa to get proper, high-quality customer service and clean/pristine finishes.

Really feeling like a second class citizen. That would not be enough for me to review as it's a bonus but the actual service...., They ask you to pay before you're complete and then when you find problems they fix it in a sloppy way. Looks like I have crooked nail beds from the way she pushed the cuticles back. Some nails look days grown out already.
