Even after I provided the insurance details and told them they can mention self pay because I would like to know how far out are the provider consults actually booking and whether it was worth for us to hold off treatment until we get the consult since otherwise I will not need the appointment - they only want me to speak with financial counseling first about payment details and understand what is involved in self pay. I keep saying the same point ie there is no point for me to go through this if the consult is not happening immediately. A total waste of my time and my emotions wasted. Concierge is always helpful directing you around the building, and there is also a cafe inside with healthy bites to go. I don't like needles, but the nurses in the lab are always patient with me when I come to get blood drawn. An extra nurse even came inside with me one time to hold my hand because I couldn't stop crying... I was so embarrassed, but I made it out alive! As for the facility, it is pretty dated. The elevator looks like it hasn't been renovated in a while, and the overall layout is pretty confusing/old. Their phone lines don't always direct to the correct extension, and hold times can be lengthy. However, the overall facility is very clean with no funky "hospital" smells. Plus, they do have an online (modern) guest portal that comes in handy for filling prescriptions and messaging your doctor. And speaking of doctors, I would recommend doing research to find the best fit for you!

I also never have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen, which is pretty impressive since I go there a lot for sick visits that they're always able to squeeze in at the last second. My pcp is Dr. Celler, and she is absolutely fantastic. She is very patient and a very attentive listener, and is great at explaining things in a way that I understand (though never in a condescending way). I know she has a very high volume of patients, but I have never felt as though I was being rushed out or ignored. I do understand some of the negative reviews, particularly with regard to Dr. Solomon (both of my parents have been seeing him for a very long time and used to be big fans of his, but have nothing but negative things to say now), but other than that I personally have never had anything but really positive experiences here.

Nurse SHAOLING gets 10 stars in my book for her compassion. Dr Cannon, Dr Kashyap, Fran and Pam the nurses and Brian in anesthesia were all amazing. I felt comfortable and cared for, and they explained everything to me in a compassionate way. I even screwed up and drank water the morning so I had to delay my procedure, but they still managed to fit me in without any attitude and with great understanding. I've been a patient at the Men's Health Club in Chestnut Hill for some time, and unfortunately, my…read moreexperience has gone from promising to outright disappointing. While Dr. Applebaum and the reception staff have always been courteous and professional, the rest of the team has seriously dropped the ball. I've been accused of lying about my TRT dosage, which is not only offensive but completely uncalled for. My testosterone levels consistently test around 300 ng/dL when I come in--well below optimal--and rather than addressing this medically, I get interrogated. At one point, I was provided enough vials to inject twice per week, which helped balance my levels. That protocol was suddenly taken away with no valid explanation, and now I'm forced to inject only once weekly--resulting in even lower levels. Yet no one seems to care. Meanwhile, I have a coworker who is also a patient at this same clinic. His levels hover around 1000, and he continues to receive twice-weekly dosing support without issue. So I can't help but ask: What's the difference between us? Why am I being questioned and restricted when he's not? To top it off, during one visit, I was actually asked if I had been "hydrating... by drinking alcohol." If that's your approach to patient care, it's not just unprofessional--it's negligent. I came here looking for medical support, not judgment, inconsistency, or favoritism. If this clinic wants to maintain any credibility in the men's health space, they need to start treating patients with respect, transparency, and evidence-based protocols. Right now, that's sorely lacking.

Dr. John Kwon, MD (MD!, not DPM), is an expert, Fellowship trained Foot and Ankle orthopedic surgeon, who exudes expert, state of the art, compassionate care. Dr. Kwon surgically repaired a complex foot condition of mine, and, here I am, six months post-op, and I so regret not having my foot condition repaired, years prior, by Dr. Kwon. I am grateful to an MGH orthopedic surgeon for referring me to Dr. Kwon. Dr. Kwon's Care Team includes a Physician Assistant by the name of Patrick Maguire, who is a superb clinician, as well. Dr. Kwon and Patrick Maguire function as a very cohesive team, and collaborate closely. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Kwon updated Patrick Maguire about what he discovered of my condition, in the operating room, while Patrick was seeing patients in the Foot and Ankle clinic. I saw Patrick several hours, later, as we were leaving Day Surgery, and Patrick had already heard about my surgery from Dr. Kwon, even though Dr. Kwon, and Patrick, were in two different places. Dr. Kwon's support team, in the office, two, very caring ladies, are superb; they are as caring, as they are professional, and efficient. I am confident that I could not have found a better foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon, than Dr. Kwon, and Dr. Kwon's team, and the Day Surgery Team (including nursing and anesthesia) are absolutely superb.

The garage, however, is a hot mess. We entered the garage from the street entrance to go left to the green building. Then you find you're actually at the blue building entrance. This requires an elevator to the 4th floor then a bridge to the green building on foot, then to whichever floor in that building. Unfortunately, upon entering the blue building from the parking lot, there are no signs to inform you. We happened to see a janitor and asked him how to get to the green building. Wouldn't it make more sense to allow you to park near the green building? Too confusing.

The exam rooms were nice and clean, the exam was done efficiently, and I liked that the doctor spoke to my child as she explained everything and didnt just do the exam blindly.
