I have tried, on four different occasions, to make an appointment via the website...never received a callback.

Not that a colonoscopy is something to be "thrilled" about, but I am excited to be able to tell my friends about the BEST place to go....

When I first visited him here, I immediately noticed that the place was very, very clean. In addition, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. They really went out of their way to welcome my family and I, and more importantly, my grandfather. The physical therapists were more than great. They really incorporated his wants and needs and his strengths and weaknesses in his exercise regimen. He had two specialists focusing on his heart, and one on his lungs. He was able to regain his strength after about one full week there and ditched walking with the walker shortly after that. My grandfather was always a very independent man, and the staff at Elizabeth Seton/Saint Vincent Center gave my grandfather his confidence back. I wouldn't recommend the food however. All in all, this place is great and the nurses and staff really give you personalized and one on one care. Highly recommended.

First of all let me say that my mother had been a rehab patient of this facility a year ago and the…read morecare then was acceptable. The food at that time was not. She had a major back surgery in May of this year and needed a rehab stay and was fine with returning to Mt St Vincent. What a terrible decision that was. She was unable to move from her bed without assistance due to her surgery Trying to find a nurse or an aid for assistance was very hard to do. She was in a great deal of pain to say the least. The pain management was never fully addressed. Here pain medication was given at some times up to an hour late and only after many calls to the staff. My mother is a retired nurse and more than understands that the staff may have been busy with other residents. This being said having to wait an hour and a half to go to the bathroom is completely unacceptable as well as humiliating. After a few days of very poor care as well as a staff that was unable or un willing to help take control of her horrible pain we made the wise decision to move my mother to a facility that was more than capable of doing just that. I would never recommend this place to anyone

They work together as a team, which is something you don't see very often. I have been going there for quite a while, and everyone there, at one point or another, has gone above and beyond to help me. Vicky, Dr. Goldman's assistant, is marvelous. She is always so pleasant and personable. Recently, I discovered that it was she who took it upon herself to write what must have been a master crafted PA in order to obtain Lidoderm Patches for me. I have been trying to obtain them via insurance for over a year. Three doctors have tried, as well. These patches are the one thing that cures my pain. I had resorted to buying them from Canada for close to $200. One day, I got a letter in the mail stating my appeal had been approved. Now, a month's supply is under $5. Dr. Goldman is a stellar doctor, who takes time to listen and offer knowledgeable, compassionate feedback. I've never felt rushed out his office. He's sincerely concerned and has been there for me during recent health crises, which I will never forget. He's also funny, witty and sharp. His calming demeanor has made me feel at ease. I don't normally call health providers, but have called Dr. Goldman. I feel comfortable with him, and know he's not going to balk at my concern(s). He really wants to help, and it shows. Excellent staff; I just can't say enough good things about you. Thanks!

Dr Goldman is patient, curtious and knowledgable. I never feel like they are rushing through my apts (I've also seen one of the PAs here). Been here for both annual exams and sick visits and have been happy with the outcome The office runs pretty much on time. The front desk is nice. On site phlebotomy a plus. Exam rooms are either freezing or over-heated. Way to go NWPC!

In regards to discharge planning and your rights: My sister was discharged to Ellis Nursing home in…read moreNorwood from BIDN because the Case Manager said her "friend" works there. As a patient you have a right to a list from that case manager of possible places as it relates to your Insurance- You or your family can research and then packets requesting a bed are sent to those places- This is informed decision making. My sister was never given a list after asking multiple times and was told they only had "1 star" so the case manager said she took them off the list. It isn't up to her. I research places on multiple venues including licensing deficicencies not just google and Yelp- She had no right to make that decision for my sister and not give her time to research places. I say this because you don't know what you don't know. Because a friend of the case manager is trying to fill beds is unethical practice. My sister ended up in a room at Ellis in Norwood which is not a good facility to be in. (Read Ellis Review and see pics) My sister observed what appears to be maybe black mold and an awful unidentifiable smell (maybe the mold) and multiple infection control concerns. I saw the pictures and agree. Now we are trying to get her discharged out to places we had time to research. I left a message on the complaint line at BIDN, I hope it doesn't get swept under the rug or erased and their practices put the patient first. This is an unethical practice by the Case Manager and against my sister's patients rights to be part of her planning. I don't think this facility treats patients as a whole. There were some wonderful nurses caring for my sister and an excellent surgeon.

Then this hospital location sent him home with a broken leg saying there was nothing wrong with him. Three days later he's in a Boston hospital having surgery on his knee and leg from being hit by a car. Two weeks later and he's still in the hospital recovering after surgery. I don't know who was the incompetent doctor there but the quality of care was awful! This is so unnecessary and unprofessional. I would try everything to avoid being taken to this Needham location. You may just lose a limb!
