I went here the first time on Christmas Day for drinks, pool, and darts. We hit the jackpot! The decor is beautiful and homey feeling. They have happy hour all day everyday with buy one get one free. They have two pool tables and two dart boards. We paid $5 (cash) to play three games of pool which is really cheap. Unfortunately since it was Christmas the kitchen was closed so I was unable to try any food. But the atmosphere was superb, the building has been completely gutted and redone. I think this is the perfect hangout spot. Also during the warmer months there is a beautiful outdoor patio. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good. The drink special was alright, it's 2-4-1; however, in the end I think you end up paying about the same price. However, the service was a little rough. Every time I've been here this far it has taken a hot minute to receive my food. On top of the SLOW service, the servers always seem to be a little rude/ full of themselves. My husband and I just went there with my two boys. 3 and 1. The kids meal was enough to split between the two and was only $4. Mac and Cheese, Fries, apple sauce AND an Oreo cookie packet! They have 2 for 1 drinks all day every day so it was nice to order 1 cider and both the hubs and I got one with our meal. The special was a rack of Ribs for $7 so that's what he got while I opted for the way to big for me super yummy strawberry salad. Food & drinks are good, however the service of the wait staff is horrible. The last 3 times we have been there it takes forever to be served & when you are they have been extremely disinterested. I understand once & awhile you can get a server that is having a bad day or just not good at their job but to have it happen at the same restaurant 3 different times with 3 different servers they have a problem. After passing by this restaurant for years, the recent opening of The Muddy Cow intrigued my wife and I to finally make a stop for lunch last Sunday. Just walking through the doors makes a person impressed by the beautiful rustic interior. We made our way to the bar across the back wall and were greeted by Eric, the bartender. Throughout our meal, we had a great conversation with Eric and he made us feel like important customers. My french dip was good and my wife loved her burger. The french fries have a special seasoning on them (not salty - just crispy and delicious) that's truly delicious. We enjoyed our visit so much, we returned the next night for dinner with a friend. Met some friends here for a quasy dinner/work meeting. I had a burger with hot sauce, blue cheese and sauteed jalapenos. Skipped the jalapenos. Burger was done well, little pink in the middle. We went on burger night and also had 2 for 1 beer. Good selection. Burger was outstanding. I had the heart attack burger. Only let down was a poor waitress. The manager came to the rescue though. I had a broken glass discovered about half way through. The waitress poured the remaining beer into a clean glass. She also foamed it up. I asked for a new beer in case there was glass in it plus a little common sense. She got snotty and said I had already drank half. Then her manager brought us 2 and apologized. Don't waste your money. I went here for the first time with my bestie. My burger was dry as dust and completely lacking in flavor. No seasoning whatsoever. The bacon on my burger was the consistency of a leather belt. My onion rings were ok at best. The house ketchup however was quite tasty. The service wasn't the best either. The food here is so bad here that kids were throwing theirs on the floor. They do offer 2 for 1 drinks all the time so I guess that must make the food seem so good to some. You have to be pretty drunk to think the food here is good. I don't drink so my senses are not compromised. The place is very clean though. That's the only positive thing I can say for this place. We had very good food out on the patio in great weather. Our waitress was very busy but friendly and for the most part great service. Will go again. The staff were very friendly - especially our server, Jessie, who was polite, informative, and attentive without being pushy. The fries were crisp and I loved the batter. The selection of burgers and sandwiches is vast, but I settled on the Paul Bunyan burger, which was very good - Provolone, cheese curds, onion rings, and gravy. I think next time I would ask for Bleu cheese or a garlic aioli to add a little more tang, but aside from that, delicious. read more

If I could give a zero I would. What a horrible experience from the moment we walked in. Two guys/boys were at the check in. Didn't acknowledge until I said HI. Then he sat us outside where we wanted. That was good. After about 5 minutes waitress, Angeline G comes to our table and says, "so do you want something to drink and by the way we are over 30 minutes at least behind in the kitchen, so. Like she wanted us to leave. It was windy out so after about 20 minutes I went inside and ask the hostess where we came in, if we could come in and he said yes just let your server know and she will help you out and get you seated. Well we let her know and she said "well you have to settle up with me first". We are like ok. I asked her about seating and she said I don't know you just need to settle up with me. I'm like ok so I went in and asked the host and he said basically anywhere so we sat down. Well no sever helped us from that time forward. The only person that came to the table was the busiest person there from the kitchen. Well our food came about an hour later. Food was 2 star. Chicken was dry and burger was well done. I am staying at a local hotel so walking is very convenient. It is very busy and lively so clearly does well. Maybe too well as I have visited multiple times and on three different occasions have sat at the bar. I am polite and tip well. On the three occasions I have sat at the bar I have asked if the Dodger game can be put on one of the five bar televisions. Each time my request was acknowledged and no attempt was made to fulfill my request. Tonite I asked the bartender again and was met with a very rude response. We came in for a quick bite and a couple drinks last night around 5:30. I have never been in this location before so i have nothing to compare it too but the interior looked nice and clean and well laid out. We sat at the bar that was almost 100% already and got acknowledged right away. Nice beer selection, although if they say beer on their sign they should have even more selections in a bottle. We ordered wings to start and they were excellent! Crispy and juicy on the inside with a great buffalo sauce. We split the Cuban (although my husband wanted his on sandwich) and it was very good. It had great flavors and sauce, it wasn't a real authentic Cuban, the bread was soft and more like a baguette, but it was still tasty. Went with my husband on a Friday night, we were sat right away and the tables and restaurant itself seemed really clean. Also liked that squeeze bottles of ketchup and mustard were right on the tables along with silverware and extra napkins. The barrel of peanuts were a nice touch as well! When he finally did arrive, we had our drink and food order ready and he told us we would have to wait on our food order as he had to get another tables order first. That peeved me quite a bit. He eventually did come back with our drinks quite a bit later and the food shortly followed; we never once saw the server again during our meal so we just set our card out to pay. Another nice server took our plates and card and then our original server finally brought our check back. It just seemed like our particular server was having an issue as I saw many other servers going around and other tables promptly waited on and they were really helping our server out. I was pretty underwhelmed with the food, I love a good burger and thought prices were decent on the hamburger but slightly high on some of the specialty burgers. A regular hamburger was $6.50 but a burger with a slab of cheese and maybe a sauce then ran you about $10, and they were only 6 oz patties. It was also $2 to upgrade to onion rings, which considering my husband only got 4, seemed like a huge rip off. They weren't little onion rings, but I defiantly expected at least double that amount for a $2 upcharge. I didn't love the fries, they seemed undercooked and really dry. I did have some sticker shock when it came to the 2 for 1 drinks, there weren't prices in the drink menu we had (I did see some other drink menu's on other tables but it didn't appear that all tables had the same menus) I ordered the Margarita, it came in just a little bar glass and was nothing special, but it was $8.00. I didn't find it to be any real deal at all. We probably won't be back as we can get a bigger better burger with decent sides and better service at many other restaurants in the area.
