Been coming to Mudville off and on for years! My high school group meets once a month and I always look for local restaurants to visit. Mudville you killed it! The service was amazing. The happy hour all 12 of you s happy and the next gully specials were delicious. Trivia was a great fun surprise! Thanks for everything!

Best Corned Beef and Cabbage with potatoes and carrots.

We went specifically for their St Patrick's Day Special, Corned Beef and Cabbage with Potatoes and Carrots. It was spot on and cooked perfectly splendid. It hit all points! Service was excellent. The ambiance was straight sports pub, plenty of televisions.

I now work across the street from MG. I called my order in and then walked over to pick it up. The BLT was delicious and huge! I could only eat half of my sandwich, so I shared the other half with a co-worker who did not have lunch that day. We both enjoyed the BLT & the potato salad. I look for to visiting them occasionally. I usually bring my lunch from home. Pros:close by my office Nice people Con:the "WALK" light takes to long Potato salad was okay.

Mudville Pizza . Pepperoni and Sausage.

New pizza addition to the already great menu at Mudville grill. I try to eat at Mudville at least once a week ( always check the special wall) And now Pizza go ahead and take my money . Gotta a feeling lots of pizzas will be coming my way.. and all very fresh !

Pork Shank Wings and Fish Ruben

Have been going to Mudville for a few years now. We went tonight after not going for a while. A few months ago we had a string of not amazing food experiences BUT wanted to give them another try since they are our neighborhood sports bar. I am only reviewing on tonights experience. It was wonderful. The food and service met expectations tonight. We ordered 2 draft beers (bud light 20 oz $4 and Yuengling 20 oz. $4). You can beat those prices. They updated their specials board from a white board to a screen. Its a little hard to read from a distance but it adds a nice modern flair to the place. My husband ordered the pork shank (on the specials board $11.99) and I had the Fish Ruben (regular menu $13.99) both were amazing. The pork shank wings were fall off the bone and in a really nice teriyaki sauce. I tried one...then asked for another! My fish ruben was served very hot and the fish was CRISPY! The bread and fish did not get soggy with the dressing and coleslaw on it! The fish was a light white fish and the batter was light and well seasoned. Not too salty but not bland. We both decided that Mudville is back in our restaurant rotation!

Onion Rings a la Carte - look more like calamari and are 90% breading. Do not recommend

The southwest chicken wrap was okay but the ranch was awesome. Do not order the onion rings, it's like they took Funyuns and deep fried them. All filler, no onion. The cherry malt was awesome!

    Sauce boss on stage

Had a fun time at the music room seeing the sauce boss the other day. How fun is that that they are pulling in cool little music acts! The room is laid out pretty nicely although in my humble opinion the music room should be more dim, everybody knows people drink more when it's dim inside. The decorations are decent and the fixtures and furniture are OK. The bartender was friendly enough and we sat at the bar and ordered food. The pickle chips are super salty we couldn't finish them, the conch fritters were pretty good. The fried mushrooms were standard coming from Sysco fare. Nothing on the menu really appeared to be special it was just very standard run-of-the-mill bar food. You're not gonna come here for the food. I'm excited and another little musical trying to pull in quirky little acts from around the country. The sound in the room was pretty good although I think the musician brought his own sound system, although maybe not because there was a sound guy in the back of the room. Parking wasn't too bad, less traumatic than I expected it to be. The crowd was an interesting mix mostly older people which you don't see too often so that was fun also. The beer selection was OK, your standard Budweiser and Miller light types +2 local beers on tap. They do not have hard water. The girl didn't even know what I was talking about when I asked for it. Oh and they charge $.35 for a 1 ounce plastic. ramekin of ranch dressing. Come for the music not the food.

We went today, 9/4/2019, hurricane day. They offered a hurricane brunch plate, big breakfast. The food was decent, the fried food was awesome, mushrooms, French fries and tater tots. Service was decent. Not super kid friendly but not awful. Iced tea was good. I don't recommend the bloody Mary's. The mix is too strong.

I arrived unaware of its history, but the owner's love for basketball is unmistakable, and the locals reflect that same devotion... not just to the sport, but to the space itself. There's an ease here, a sense that people aren't just passing through. I took a seat at the bar, did what one does in such environments, and ordered an IPA. It was solid... confident, balanced, exactly what you'd hope for. But then came the onion rings, which I ordered based on a subtle but unmistakable social cue: everyone else seemed to be eating them. Reader, they were correct. These were not mere onion rings. These were structurally sound, texturally precise, and philosophically complete. Large, fully cooked onions, no trace of that unpleasant raw bite, encased in a crisp, golden coating that somehow maintained its integrity from first bite to last. Crunchy, consistent, and deeply satisfying. Naturally, I paired them with blue cheese dressing because I'm from upstate New York, and that is not a preference, it is doctrine.

When we walked in, we saw a huge table of senior citizens, maybe about 20-30! We decided to stay. There was only one Bartender and one Waitress. The place was packed. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had a full bar with liquor as well as all the bar taps. Tons of friendly staff to explain the lay of the land and how the self serve bar taps work. I liked how the taps were organized by type of beer and they always identified the local brews with "904" above the tap. Also liked the extra touches like offering chilled glasses and free soda refills. Didnt order any food, but most patrons did seem to be eating. Enjoyed the different seating options, including a more chill lounge experience with couches upstairs. Decent amount of tvs to watch sports. Last night a group of friends and I came here to celebrate a birthday. Nothing big or fancy, just wanted a good time with good people, with plenty of food and drinks. - The Taps System - Upon using the tap systems, between my husband and I more than 4 taps we're emptied, but we were still charged 2oz - 4oz pours... even if nothing but foam came out. There was even one instance where my husband was charged for a 4oz pour before he even touched the handle. - The Food - My husband and I only ordered the chip duo (comes with queso and salsa). You can tell the salsa IS made fresh in house, but it was extremely sweet, almost like a ketchup sweet but not the same consistency. It really needed some extra seasoning blends in it. The queso was good. I enjoyed that, but nothing too special about it, but good. A friend of ours ordered a burger, and after waiting 20 minutes for it, he was told he never placed the order for it. He pulled his phone out, showed where his payment had gone through and order was submitted, and then come to find out, the kitchen so.ehow didn't receive the order or his ticket got lost in the process along the way... so he never got food. Frustrating. Another person at our table ordered a special made drink from the bar, and after waiting 20 minutes for it had to ask about it and what happened. Then a couple minutes later two came to the table, she let them know she only ordered one, so they took the second one they goofed on making. - Service - I forget her name. She said multiple times she was new and had only just started. Bright, bubbly, energetic, and full of charisma. She is the reason this isn't a 1 star TBH. She was an absolute delight and wonderful to have serving and assisting us. I wish I remember her name, but she had wavy/curly hair and a sunny little finesse to her we all enjoyed. She was your saving grace last night for all of us. I hate to say, but after the multiple mishaps, we probably won't return. The atmosphere and space are great and beautiful, but the many failures in different aspects really made it feel like it wasn't a one off thing. When we reviewed our receipt at home, we noticed that a lot of the overcharges from the empty taps were not removed, and in this economy, that really sucks.

I think it may have been Morgan (she had red hair). My daughter was recouping from having her tonsils and adenoids removed, so softer food that weren't spicy were items that we were looking for. This waitress knew the menu well and offered very helpful suggestions. She really went above and beyond trying to suggest and think of which dish would be best given my daughter's limitations. Our appetizer (Spinach and Artichoke Dip) was on the table in a timely manner and very good. (I didn't take a photo) Our meal arrived quickly and the presentation was very nice. I had the cheeseburger sliders. They were decent. I had a Sprite and she just had ice water. My daughter had chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and a special sweet dipping sauce that our thoughtful waitress suggested. I can't say much about the tenders as my daughter's viewpoint may not be fair given she is recouping from surgery. The sweet dip our waitress suggested was surprisingly delicious. We also had a side of hush puppies. The hush puppies were "so so", but in fairness to the establishment, it's not really a highlighted item on the menu, it was just a "side" that sounded good to us. My "Hang-Up" with "Walk-Ons" was that it was what I would consider pretty pricey given what we ordered. Our bill was $51 without tip. Pros: Excellent service, knowledgeable and friendly waitress, atmosphere. Cons: Price was on the high side given the menu items that we chose. Our conclusion was that it's likely a fun place to watch a game and have an appetizer/drinks with friends.
