    Buffalo wings (12)
    Haj R.

Hotel staff recommended this location for great wings and adult beverages. I went that recommendation and I was not disappointed. The owner was at the front door greeting customers - I was no exception. He informed me he selected the beer served personally and offered me taste samples if I could not make up my mind. I ordered buffalo wings (12) and had a Guinness Stout. Both were great. Bartender Dustin was attentive and talked sports to me and another customer - great customer service. I'll come back to this place when back in NYC. The buffalo wings were great BTW.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday evening to have wings and drinks with a friend. I haven't been here in a while. I used to go a lot when I was in college. The wings and fries were delicious. I had the BBQ wings. The drinks were very good. I had a Whiskey Sour and Bees Knees for my drinks. The drinks were well prepared. The waitress was very nice, helpful and attentive. The restaurant was fairly quiet for a Friday evening. I'll definitely be back soon. The service was excellent.

While I love the environment here, the food is just lackluster. The wings were... not good. They say they are award-winning or something, but I thought the meat was not well cooked and bland. We tried both the hot and the mild variety, and neither sauce was very flavorful. Moreover, the dipping sauces were weird. The texture of the bleu cheese was icky, so I ordered ranch instead, just for the ranch to be a strange dill-flavored variety. This dill flavor was far too overpowering to be tolerable. Even the vegetables that came on the plate didn't taste fresh. The prices are also not justifiable. My boyfriend and I ate 6 wings each, no sides, and neither of us drink alcohol, so we had some sparkling water and I had 2 cranberry juices. **50 dollar check.** Ridiculous.

Came here for my job's happy hour and it was really fancy with a nice bar and the staff were attentive and nice! The staff recommended me the Italian Pilsner Wild East L'Ultima Moda and it was very light and floral. Tasted pretty good! We got nachos, chicken fingers, fried mozzarella, and dips for two, which were very good. The mozzarella was very cheesy and enough to serve 6 people! This place is definitely a good place to get a party started and will recommend it to anyone who wants happy hour with their coworkers! There are 5 TVs playing sports at the bar, which tends to be filled up pretty quickly. There are comfy booths in the rest of the restaurant if you can't get a seat at the bar.

The food is great and a good variety. The staff was very attentive and made few good recommendations.

Mudville 7/10 (cheddar, sunny-side up egg, bacon, special sauce) - Good burg, got it medium well and it was PINKIN. didn't come with any "special sauce" now that I'm thinking about it. Pesto Chicken -/10 (chicken, pesto, tomato, mozzarella) - didn't try but looked good. Mi Amor 7/10(Teramana Blanca, Lemon Juice, Strawberry Puree, Agave, Basil) - decent strawberry marg. Titos Mule 6.5/10(Titos Vodka, Fresh Lime Juice, Ginger Beer) - couldn't taste the alcohol so automatic low score. Didn't do anything for me

Well organized condiments brought to the table.

We had a $30 for $50 coupon through Yelp and that was a great surprise. Love the atmosphere and staff, especially the manager. It was a game day and we were happy to find this gem since we are from wayyyyy out of town. We had a few drinks and some awesome food. The mozzarella sticks that were wrapped in wonton paper and filled with cheese and pesto were different in the best way. That pizza though...we really weren't expecting bar pizza to be good but it was damn great! Only issue was the specialty drink menu. We ordered a couple drinks that sounded good on the menu but should never have existed in real life. Tap/bottle beer was definitely the way to go. Overall we would easily return if not just for the fun atmosphere and our super nice waitress.

Great service, the price is affordable and the place is very comfortable. Although they didn't put on the menu that the chicken sandwich has bleu cheese in it, they change our plate for chicken dumplings. Our favorite plate was the pulled pork nachos if you go there you have to get them!!!

One of the only speakeasies that's open during the day so it is a great place to spend time if the weather is not agreeable - which can happen frequently in a city like NYC. The bartender was sweet, menu was limited. We got a drink each before heading out to other nearby bars on a night of bar hopping. I would recommend getting the Empress X which is what I got. I love it is located in East Village because there are so many cool thrift stores, bars and restaurants in close proximity.

Wine and beer are also on the menu, but the unique cocktails are the big draw. The space is narrow, basically one long bar taking up the entire floor plan. No tables, only stools at the bar for seating. There's literally no space for anything else. While I liked the theme overall, I personally wasn't blown away by my cocktails, and didn't love that they were priced over $20 when there was only soju instead of stronger spirits available. Plus the space is "charming" but maybe I'm getting too old for tiny, grungy East Village bars. Definitely a unique vibe, but if you're not actively seeking out a Japanese-themed bar, I wouldn't call this a must-visit.

Whether you're upstairs for the 3rd floor vibe, mid-level for the perfect sightline, or down in the cozy den with the best acoustics, this is New York sports bar energy: loud, a little brazen, impossibly welcoming. Taking off a star because I had a weird experience with the people at the front. I'm currently recovering from an injury and I'm in a pretty obvious neck brace. I was visiting with two people who were on their way and would be arriving in about 10-15 minutes and the people at the front told me I couldn't be seated until they arrived. I understand that this is normal protocol, but I pointed out my neck brace and asked if an exception could be made because it's significantly more comfortable for me to sit down (and there was no room at the bar). They said that their manager wouldn't let them do that, and that they couldn't seat me until the rest of my party was there. There were tons of table tables available the entire time and when my friend arrived about 12 minutes later, they seated us, I totally could've sat the whole time and it wouldn't have been a problem. Not the end of the world and I probably could've pushed it harder, but it definitely was a little awkward!
