Disappointing. That is what this place is. I was having a not so great day, and decided to order some lunch online to treat myself. Found this spot and it had decent reviews. My food came very quick, which can be awesome or bad. In this case it was bad. For a 15 minute delivery time, my food was cold. On top of that the portions were a joke. $12 for tiny chicken tenders and soggy fries, and $10 for a couple Brussels sprouts soaking in soy sauce? On top of that, I had to pay for extra sauces and never even got them. Please save your time and money here. read more

Came here and sat outside. They have happy hour specials from 3-6 from Tuesday to Friday. We started off with cocktails which were a good amount of sweet and refreshing. We ordered brussel sprouts, wings, and mac and cheese to share. I also got the fried chicken sandwich and we got chocolate chip cookies with the bill. Only walked in to get a drink cause it was scorching hot out there. We needed some a/c, a few chairs, and liquids. Never been here before, and will never be back. It was a one off. Sat at the bar, only a few others in the whole place - time was probably 5-ish pm. Lots of beer options on tap. Had a classic Margarita and it was good. Honestly nothing special about the place that stood out. The bartender was very sweet. I'd give the place 3.5 stars just because I really don't remember anything about it. Decent bar. It's been quite some time since my last review and I figured why not give a shoutout to a neighborhood staple like Mudville9. This was actually the first place I sat down to eat post Covid and its encompassing restrictions. I was working in the neighborhood when I decided to stop in. On my way over, I fully expected to see a For Rent sign up and to learn Mudville's doors had closed for good. Not only did Mudville survived it was fully prepared to welcome back business. They even used the time to do a makeover during the pandemic. The main bar looked spankingly brand new with a marble bar top, fresh taps installed into the adjacent wall and full size tv's hanging above. The place looked awesome and the employees seemed proud. For the food, all there is to say is Mudville's burgers deserve to be in the conversation of best burger south of Canal. It's that damn good. Everything from the bun to the toppings all go perfectly together. I enjoyed every bite. You also can't go wrong with their wings or beer selection. This is a great neighborhood bar that can get lost in the glitz and glam. However, its establishments like this that remind you of the old Tribeca. read more

Meet with a buddy of mine post work to hangout. As soon as I sept into this spot, I feel in love~! From the top charted hip hop playlist to the great customer service, I was impressed and felt welcomed/greeted. It felt as if I am coming to favorite spot to unwind from a long day of work, even though this is my first time being here. Shain was the manager/bartender who served us and his easygoing, funny and approachable demeanor made me felt I was just a catching up with a long time friend whom I haven't see in a while. The food/beer selection at the establishment was amazing as well. There was many varieties to choose from. Shain gave a great recommendation and was very knowledgeable on which draft to choose due to many years of experience as a bartender. The food we order was the Half Chicken with Mac and Cheese and it was delicious with very well seasoned. Definitely looking forward to return to this comfortable, spacious and energetic ambiance spot~! We went on a train ride to World Trade Center and walked around for dinner tonight. Found this place cause my son was having a melt down wanting to eat. Felt the food was overpriced and not worth it. Nachos for 14$ without meat. Figured there would be ground beef on them at least but just unmelted cheese and greasy chips. My son loved his cheese pizza but again 17$ for a tiny personal pizza not worth it. Hubby had a pulled pork sandwich and didn't complain. Wait staff were friendly and accommodating. Now there's an incentive to spend more time there as well, since they've just added Shain Gallagher (formerly of Dark Horse) behind the bar! Used to live in the area, so this is my place for wings and beer. Got delivery last night of Buffalo wings, jerk wings and Mexican corn. I called 20 min after delivery was due and was told that the order had been delivered according to the delivery service. I checked the hall, lobby and even outside - no sign of it. They promptly put together another order for me and it was at my place, piping in 15 minutes. I love their Buffalo wings, but the jerk wings are even better. Avoid this place. Just tried to have lunch on a Sunday outside where the games were playing. It was quiet and enjoyable when we sat down. . All of a sudden after we sat down, the music became really loud and blaring. We spoke to the server who asked her manager about the situation. Manager Mike said " sorry, nothing I can do, I have to have music playing during half time". (This was BS as the half time was over) We asked if he could turn it down, and he said no. He was rude and was unwilling to turn down the really loud music so that you can have a conversation. He obviously has a chip on his shoulder and should not be managing anything. Simply Amazing. Stopped by one night after work following a recommendation from a friend, and I have to say, the experience surpassed my expectations. For starters, the appetizers are spot on, great choices for reasonable prices. My favorite were the wings, highly recommend them, they're some of the best I've had. This place Mudville9 on 126 Chambers St have made few changes for worst. I have been in this place for years probably since 2009 I use to work near by, and when I go in Trebeca I had stop by. Chicken wings use to be very good, but not anymore on last 2 times were not good at all. Service is so so. I cannot say good, I cannot say bad either. Management is horrible.This place is going down. I was surprised last visit they charge me an extra charge 3.5% if you pay by card you are getting charged extra 3.5% . That is the most stupidest ridiculous things I have seen. What a idiots. I have to check my bank statement if you charge me extra for the tip I left on credit card. First of you should be investigated if all credit card charge you 3.5%. You have to prove it.
