Shortly after leaving, my car actually started smoking because of the oil that had been spilled. This is especially frustrating because my vehicle is brand new and should be completely reliable--not smoking right after a routine oil change. An oil change is basic maintenance, and customers should be able to trust that it will be done cleanly and professionally. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I contacted upper management to report the issue, and they did not seem very concerned about fixing the problem. The response I received made it feel like they simply did not care about the situation or about making it right. Because of the poor service and lack of concern from management, I would advise others to be cautious when choosing this location.

We had some bad weather and he stated that they needed until Wednesday to complete the job. I paid him $40 for diagnostics and then $150 for the tow. Then sent $550 for parts. I also got a rental for 5 days through budget rent a car which cost me 500$ Wednesday came and it wasn't done. He said it would be done Thursday. I got the rental another day. Another $68 and $15 extension fee. Friday came and he said it's still not done. So after a week I have paid over 1k and it's not done. He promised it would be done the following Tuesday by 8pm. I returned rental that morning. At 9pm when he didn't show up he texted that he was done but there was still an oil leak. WHAT!!!!! He said he had parts and needed until Monday. Monday morning I asked him if it was going to be completed as promised and he said no. He needed til Wednesday. So 13 days he has had my car and it's in the same condition. I just had enough and sent a tow truck to their shop to get my car. When tow truck arrived it was at someone's house. They told me it was a mechanic shop. It's a random house on a sketchy neighborhood and my car sitting in front untouched with snow covering it still. He misled me as he had a shop. He just paid google bc he was the first to pop up. I had a very disappointing experience with this Midas location…read more I brought in my 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter because there were damaged wires and harness wiring underneath the vehicle. Before bringing it to Midas, I already knew the wiring was damaged, and I had temporarily connected some of the wires myself just for testing. I never considered that a permanent repair. That is exactly why I brought the van to a professional shop and paid them to repair the wiring properly. Before they started the work, I asked them many times about how the wiring would be repaired, especially the wiring related to the ABS/wheel speed sensor harness. I specifically asked about the connectors and whether the wiring needed the proper connectors instead of simply being connected together. Each time, I was assured that they knew what they were doing and that it would be repaired correctly. I waited more than two weeks for the work to be completed. In the end, I was charged $750.97, including $660 in labor for "REPAIR ELECTRICAL WIRING." When I picked up the van and started it, I noticed that the same warning lights and errors were still showing on the dashboard, including the ABS-related warnings. I questioned them about it again, and they told me the wiring had been repaired correctly. They then suggested that the ABS/wheel speed sensor itself might need to be replaced. To be clear, my complaint is not that Midas did not replace the ABS sensor. My complaint is about the wiring repair that I paid them to perform. What was especially frustrating was seeing that the same temporary wiring/connections that were already there when I brought the van in had essentially been wrapped and secured. I brought the van to a professional shop and paid over $750 because I expected a proper professional wiring repair, not for my temporary test connections to simply be secured and returned to me. About one hour after picking up the van from Midas, I drove it directly to a Mercedes-Benz dealership to have their technicians inspect it. Mercedes-Benz inspected the vehicle that same day, and I received their paperwork the following day. Their written inspection states: "Main body harness and wheel speed sensor harness is cut and not repaired properly." This is important because I did not drive the vehicle around for days or weeks after leaving Midas. Approximately one hour after picking it up, I took it directly to Mercedes-Benz, and they inspected it that same day. I asked Midas many times, both before and after the repair, whether the wiring was being repaired correctly, and I was repeatedly assured that it was. After waiting more than two weeks and paying $750.97, Mercedes-Benz inspected the vehicle almost immediately afterward and documented that the harness was "not repaired properly." I have the Midas invoice showing what I paid for the electrical wiring repair, as well as the Mercedes-Benz documentation showing the results of their inspection immediately afterward. Based on my personal experience, I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of the work I received for the amount I paid, and I cannot recommend this Midas location.

No transparency, no reasonable breakdown, just inflated charges and excuses. An oil change on a Duramax already costs more than a gas truck because of oil capacity and filter size, but this was pure gouging. If you own a diesel truck, avoid this shop unless you enjoy getting fleeced. There are plenty of honest diesel shops that won't treat routine maintenance like a luxury exotic-car service.
