Def the best Chinese food in the Collierville / Germantown area. Always voted one of the best every year. Ate here again tonight at the restaurant ( rather than take out). Had a great time , good food... everything is always fresh made even the wonton soup. Fast, friendly, clean and always a slightly better vibe than your average Chinese restaurant. Also, portions are large ! We took half of the food home for tomorrow These guys also do great sushi, Thai food and really great teas and fruit drinks.

I went to this place to try out their Boba tea. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking into the building the aroma did not smell the best.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also, while inside waiting, no one acknowledged that we were there waiting for to go services. One cool benefit is they have a kiosk inside where you can order your food and or beverages to go. I tried the tiramisu Boba milk tea with coffee jelly. It was OK. It comes with some type of foam on top which has a very rich chocolatey flavor. I may come back to try the food.

Got the house special fried rice delivered so I cannot speak too much on service and ambiance. Loved it, the rice was flavorful and had a lot of meat (with big pieces). Nice serving size for the price as well.

A lot of dishes can be vegan by ordering tofu. They have 3 vegan rolls that are pretty good. My wife and I got the red curry with tofu and eggplant. It was ok. Not a lot of flavor. I got the Szechuan tofu curry. Spicy. Again. Kind of bland taste. The sushi rolls were the best. Cucumber, veggie and avocado. So that kind of tells you how basic and flavorless were the 2 main dishes. Good for vegan options but not very good all around. Tried ordering a boba tea but the server said they only had cow milk so that was a pass. Sad. Boba tea is originally vegan since most Asians are lactose intolerant. Good service. Quick and kind

After being seated my server brought my water and I never saw her again. After 10 minutes I walked out. No one noticed because a server and two other greeters at the front were all on their phones.

I've visited several of the Mulan locations and opted for this one due to close proximity to movie theater where I had tickets for that evening. The parking lot was at near capacity as i assume this is the time of day when they see the most guests. Upon arrival, I was quickly seated. Tables are a little close if you have 4 guests as well as the next tables. Due to limited time to spare, I opted for spring roll order and 2 spicy crawfish rolls. The food arrived in a timely manner. Each was to my liking.

New menu items that blew our group away. Everything was very tasty and colorful. It was a bit spicy for me but the rest loved it.

Server didn't really seem familiar with the menu. A lot of checking on menu items which is fine but just took time. Some game was on and he spent most of the time watching it and talking to other customers about the game play. At each turn we had to beckon him to come over - refill, chopsticks, to-go box, check, credit card, etc. Had to drink my daughter's water after the first refill because it was hard to get his attention. I gave him the full 15% tip ($10+) but honestly didn't feel good about it. Cost of the food is above average. Most dishes were pushing $20. So for 3 dishes and an appetizer (no drinks) we were at about $85 after tax and tip. Decor was very nice. Piano inside too which means they must have entertainment at night. When I asked for the password the server said it ended in "4444" - eeeee, really? That sounded so odd for a Chinese place as 4 is usually a taboo number because it sounds like the word death (si). Turned out to be "8888" (8 is a lucky number). Lol. When we got our chopsticks two of the three holders only had one stick in it. How weird. And a bit disconcerting as it made me think maybe they reuse these things. On to the food: Dumplings (off the to go menu): Tasted good. But I would not eat the garnishings which looked old. White rice: ok it's just rice but some places butcher it. Tasted fine. Boiled fish filet in chili oil (#19): probably the best dish we had. Looked impressive but actually on the bottom is all cabbage and not fish. Diced chicken with red pepper Szechuan style (#33): Lighter on the Chinese numbing peppercorn than most places I've had a similar dish at. The chicken they use seems to be of better quality. Juicier and no bones. Also the peppers seemed fresh. Pork with preserved vegetables (#58): did not look at all like the picture which looked like a knuckle. Came sliced. A couple of pieces were super duper tough and chewy like I imagine the the sole of my shoe would taste. At those prices I don't think we'll be back. Or maybe we'd just do take out as I think they give a discount rather than me having to pay someone to watch soccer.

We've ordered from this location for years. I'm not sure if they have a new cook or just cutting back on the quality of ingredients they've used. The food ain't bussin no more! I ordered fried rice, egg foo young & Crab wontons. When I opened the wonton container, I couldn't believe what I saw! There were only 6 wontons for $10.45 (3 got eaten before I could remember to take a pic). What a rip off! Btw we threw the other 3 away, they weren't good at all! Idk how folks recommending this item cause they are NOT a hot item, please take the "fire symbol" off your menu..please!!

While the food here is absolutely wonderful, I do wish that we knew about the portion sizes being so huge! Be aware of this before you order. One plate of fried rice could easily feed three people. I love the cozy environment, very homey. The staff was very kind and attentive to the table as well. The food came out in a timely manner. I'm impressed! Would recommend for sure.

It is a Michelin recognized (i.e., fancy) authentic Szechuanese restaurant. While I can't comment on the authenticity, the flavors are deeper and bolder than any Chinese cuisine I've ever had. My brother and I fight over which is better, the boiling fish or the dry pot. Really, everything we've had has been excellent. It's possible to go affordable here with something like a fried rice dish, but I recommend being adventurous and trying something new. Every dish is sharing size and a table of two could eat their fill with one or two dishes. They get busy during peak times but they're good at turning tables and I've never had a bad wait. I'll note that the food comes out suspiciously quick, seemingly regardless of what we order it takes around 5-10 minutes, even when we brought a larger party.

Is this the best Chinese restaurant in town? Good heavens, no!…read more But it may be the best in the buffet class, rivalling the Grand Pacific, though without the crowds, the noise, and the shrieking urchins. Good food throughout, regularly freshened. A small but nice salad bar (better than the Grand Pacific's). Others are right to lament the relative want of vegetables on he bar. But I do like their asparagus and their green beans. Favourites of mine include two or three of their chicken dishes...beef & peppers...their hot & sour soup (a tad too hot for my own very tame tastes, but a lovely flavour). One nice touch: on the bar, a big bowl of fresh chopped green onions to sprinkle on soup or other dishes--Ichiban's deep-fried shrimp is my #1 and gets a whack of those onions. There are a few regrettable things--not bad, really, so much as just ordinary. The "crab Rangoon" has been nowhere near either Rangoon or any species of crustacean. For dessert you can have fruit. Mostly canned. Ice cream in dixie cups. And regrettably commercial chocolate pudding. But then, we don't go to these places for dessert, do we? Here's one thing that needs to be remedied forthwith...Servers issue one big paper napkin to start, and bring lots of smaller diner-style serviettes on request. Good so far. But the last four times we've been, the big napkins have REEKED with an aroma that I'm pretty confident is mould. Yuck! My guess is that it's a storage issue. GOOD service. Prompt, polite, responsive, unobtrusive. A good place to go on a casual date, or with the fam, or with buddies from work. Good value. Chow down!

For entrees my partner ordered the Big City Ramen (chicken broth, chicken thigh, ajitama, corn & menma) and I ordered the Spicy Pork Ramen (miso broth, pork chashu, soft egg, scallion, nori). The Big City ramen had a really good balance of flavors and wasn't too spicy. The spicy pork ramen was good but a bit like on the spicy side.
