We were driving through on our way to our vacation spot and randomly stopped here for lunch... and wow, what a gem. This place is SO so cute. The entire atmosphere was thoughtfully done from top to bottom. Finding out it was an old fire station made it even cooler. A restaurant + coffee bar + beer spot + antique store all in one? Absolute genius. Every corner had something fun to look at, and the vintage decor gave it such a cozy, unique vibe without feeling overdone. The food was amazing, the coffee was even better (still thinking about that vanilla latte ), and everything just felt welcoming and intentional. You can tell a lot of love went into creating this space. Honestly, I'm just bummed I don't live closer because this would 100% become one of my regular spots. Cruising through Brookville and was hungry so I stopped for lunch. It's a hometown, casual, nice restaurant. I had The Fig panini and lemonade. The panini had caramelized onions, fig jam, smoked Gouda cheese and Dijon aioli. It was on thin sliced sourdough bread. It was good but seemed somewhat minimal. It came with crispy chips that were also good. The lemonade was sweetened just right and tasted great. I'm sure I'll be back, I'd like to try other items on the menu. read more

Cute, bright and cheery place. We entered and viewed the instructions but you have to walk down a long hallway, past the antique sales rooms, and down a few steps to locate the Tap Wall and Coffee Bar. Why is called Coffee Bar when that's where you order food? The signs designating these spots are way high overhead and I didn't even see them till I was seated and looking at the ceiling. We came around 2 PM. The staff are very nice and helpful. Food prices are low; portions are sized accordingly and there's not much of a presentation. The chicken salad was quite tasty but needed much more mayo. Happily there's plenty of packets at the condiment stand. My husband had the Mediterranean Chicken sandwich. I took a taste and while the lettuce and beautiful thick tomato slice were quite fresh I just didn't pick up on any feta cheese or pickled onions. Maybe it was just an unlucky bite. The aroma of the coffee and baked goods made my mouth water. There are quite a few beer selections and they are reasonably priced. It's a hipster vibe in atmosphere and menu. Love to experience that avocado toast enhanced with microgreens and flax seeds. It's unlikely I'll be around here before 11 AM though, and would not make a special trip. Suggestion: put out menus on all the tables, add a sign by the handicap parking that wheelchair entrance is around the corner; consider doing all-day breakfast at least on Saturday. I came back to town for Christmas from Columbus and this place is a very nice addition to town. I was pleasantly surprised how nice of a vibe it was for downtown Brookville. They were out of croissants and soup and we went at noon. Which my mother wanted so it was a slight disappointment. I had a club wrap, my dad had the buffalo chicken wrap, and my mom had the chicken salad sandwich. All of us loved what we got, I tried a bite of my mother's chicken salad and it was phenomenal, I love a good chicken salad. The place is very clean and a very modern hipster kind of vibe. The people working were very nice and friendly. The prices weren't terrible. I would ask to come here again next time I'm back for a visit. read more

WOW what a great find. Such a one of a kind set up. Little short table for the young ones. Tables all unique including couch set ups. There is an outside patio and the ability to open the overhead doors weather permitting. There are two rooms filled with antiques to purchase. With my two day in row lunch stop while I was in town, I'm sure I'm not the only one, they will need to convert these antique rooms to seating areas!! First day I had the Cuban on tasty gluten free bread and the second day a salad both choices were excellent. Such a unique restaurant, antique store and even a little history museum of the building and town! The interior is full of special touches and pleasant design details. We could instantly tell a lot of love was put into the restoration of this old fire house. Breakfast and coffees were delicious. I especially enjoyed the warm banana muffin, which looked like it just came out of the oven. My husband was happy to find out his drip coffee had free refills. The ordering process is a little confusing at first with a bar area, coffee section and then the antique area. However, there are clear instructions on how to order if you read the sign. Honestly, the employees here were extremely friendly and happy to guide us on things to do in the area. Just a pleasant overall experience. read more

Been here twice so far. 1st time I got the fig panini, and my mom got the chicken salad croissant. Both served with kettle chips, ranch dressing, and a pickle spear. The panini had fig jam, Gouda, and caramelized onions. Sweet and rich. The chicken salad was also very good. Pretty close to what my mom makes. 2nd time I got the ham and cheese quiche, and my husband got the ham, egg, and cheese in a croissant. I also got an iced dirty chai pie to drink. Quiche was fantastic. Probably the best I've ever had. Husband was impressed with his breakfast sandwich. The dirty chai pie was a tasty combo of espresso, chai, and pumpkin spice. Atmosphere is really cool as well. Located in the former Brookville fire station downtown. Glad to see the building put to good use. The portions are smaller than diner food and more artisan, but the taste is superior to anything else in a 10-mile radius. The closest comparable option is the Bistro in nearby Lewisburg. I had the Eggs Benedict, ("Eggs Benny Our Way") which was a unique and tasty take on the breakfast favorite. The avocado toast gave high reviews from my wife and daughter and the "Loaded Jail Cell," their take on sausage gravy biscuits, was a heartier and tasty choice for others in our party. The restaurant had a full coffee bar. The drip coffee, a medium roast, was sufficient. The food service was prompt after our counter order even with a moderately-filled dining room. read more
