The Mulberry Station Brewing Company is a large restaurant complete with a stage, electric train, historic train station photos, wood-fired pizza oven, and of course, a bar! Order at the counter, take your number to your table, and they'll bring your food to the table. I was able to sample a couple of the beers before ordering. You can order half-and-half pizzas if the sauce is the same. The pizza we had was perfectly cooked. The balance of seasonings and toppings was pretty good. The crust was fairly thin, with some blackened edges (as the cardboard pizza box says, this is they way it's intended). I thought the crust lacked flavor, and have had much better wood-fired pizzas at other restaurants, so I was a little disappointed, given this restaurant's five-star ratings. Overall, good, but not great, IMHO. I'm not a college student, and am more particular than most, so your results may vary. If you're in the neighborhood, give Mulberry Station a try! You'll most likely love it!

A Hidden Gem in Chico, pizza's are great and beers are awesome! Never been disappointed!

A traditional brewery with European styles and excellent wood fired pizzas. The red and brown ales are excellent, with each beer being good for the style. The smoky pork pizza was recommended by employees and patrons alike and didn't disappoint. They have an HO scale model train layout they're happy to turn on if you ask. A modest stage allows for bands in the evening. I got to see an excellent jazz trio I'd love to see again. This place is popular amongst locals and travelers alike and it should be. The owners have put much care and love into this small brewery and restaurant, and it shows. The train theme is neat and you'll find many of the local patrons are quite interesting. All sorts of interesting local folks frequent here which have done many interesting things. Some of them have been key to Chico's development. The location is convenient and close to Sierra Nevada as well. A small casino is next to them in a small parking lot but isn't related to the brewery and has it's own entry. It looked closed to me, but apparently has some slot machines. Mulberry has plenty of parking and they sell 32 ounce Crowler cans of their beer to-go. They have great service, are clean and really a fun place. From what the locals said ad I observed, everything on the menu is good and so you can get a nice meal and good beer together. Their website has the details for performing bands and promotions, etc.

Lunch: great service and clean restaurant/brewery. Not swamped busy nor too loud. Really a great place to come for lunch. Their Smokey Pork pizza is especially awesome. All the other kinds of pizzas that I've had here are really good as well. Their beers are fantastic. They seriously make great beers! My favorites are Train in the Rain $7 (16oz) and Electric Rale Pale Ale $6 however all the beers I've tried here have been wonderful.

We went here with friends on a Saturday night and were surprised by how good the food and service was. We ordered multiple flights of beer, I will admit that we are not European craft fans, but the selection was enjoyable. We ordered multiple different pizzas; Hot Louie, The Stache, a plain pepperoni, and the Diavola pasta dish, along with a characuterie plate. All the food was delicious and freshly prepared to order. The place was clean as was the bathrooms. The service was excellent; warm, friendly, and attentive.

The best pizza in Chico! I'm not a huge pizza fan but this pizza I crave every week! Love the thin crust, cooked to perfection every time. The white sauce is bomb & they have high quality foods at reasonable prices. We always get the Ceasar salad to start & it's so yummy. Great beer selections also.

I'm not exactly sure how I ended up here as the "last hoorah" before closing out a crazy St. Patrick's Day but here I was staring before a menu. My server was named Michael and he seemed knowledgable about the things that they offered. I chose the Caprese as an appetizer to start and paired it with a 10oz. DIPA. I was told this was one of their more hoppier beers but honestly didn't think it was too daunting. I then ordered the Smoked Porky pizza; i'd go into detail but I think the name tells all with this one. If your still confused then head on down to Mulberry Station and see for yourself! Overall the pizza was INCREDIBLE! The appetizer was FRESH and most importantly the beer was COLD! I had an amazing first time visiting this cute little brewery and I am totally compelled to come back and try something different next time. Thank you guys!

    The Stache!!

Best pizza in Chico! Absolutely love it! The Stache is my go to! But the pepper head is also fantastic! Can't go wrong with their beers either!

Meatball and garlic bread with extra marinara on side

Good wood fired Neapolitan style pizza with a great crust. Good vegetarian options. A selection of good beer. Reasonable prices. So definitely a great pizza spot!

Speaks volume...fantastic food and beers. The ranch is a must addition to any order.

Our server was prompt, polite, and friendly, which we appreciated. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with lots of natural light and a pleasant atmosphere. I'd describe it as "Chico nice" -- casual and trendy, but not fine dining or especially refined service. The food was okay to good, but nothing memorable. We ordered the avocado toast, chicken sandwich, a beer, and a sweet drink, and the total came to about $72. Everything was perfectly fine, just not the kind of food or experience that would make me want to return, especially for a birthday celebration. Overall, it's a decent spot for a casual lunch, but it didn't feel particularly special for the price.

We met with the Club's event organizer, Sara Rose, to find out if it would be a fit for us. Sara Rose was friendly, honest, and professional. After we chose the Women's Club to be our venue, Sara Rose kept in contact with us --- answering any and all questions that we had. One of our concerns was who would clean up after the event. Cleaning in a wedding dress was the LAST thing I wanted to do. However, our family and friends cleaned up the decorations, and Sara Rose offered to clean the rest for a very reasonablel fee. The Women's Club was the perfect wedding reception venue for us. It was very affordable when compared to other venues in the area ($750 for the entire day), and it was close in proximity to our ceremony location in Bidwell Park. With its hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and hanging chandliers, the main room required litle decoration. The Women's Club also offers a stage which we took advantage of with our choice of a live band, The Decades. The patio area in the back gave those who wished to converse in a more quiet location an opportunity to do so. The garden foliage behind the back patio coupled with our hanging lanterns and cocktail tables gave the space quite a festive feel. Finally, the kitchen area was a great asset for our catering company, Bacio's. I would reccomend this venue to any couple who is on a budget, yet is looking for a relaxed and fun wedding reception.

Chico is lucky to have such a place as this, in addition to the very historic (and much larger) Bidwell Mansion. Unlike Bidwell, this is not a particularly important historic place in of itself, but simply a very nice, sizeable house of a local physician. There are many such houses in many towns and cities throughout California, but this is unusual because it has been preserved in basically original condition with only some small alterations which the family made made over the years, and because it is no longer a private home but open to the public. It was built by a physician and his wife who were not especially wealthy, but who were prominent locals at the time and who had inherited some money which they used to build a very nice house. One gets to see how they lived, and both how they were able to build a very nice house with modern amenities for the time, as well as how they were able to cut costs while still making the house look lavish. It includes the original stove, plus a newer stove added much later, the original wallpaper, furniture, lovely home-made blanket, and more. They also found pieces of some of the old wallpaper from the building which were left over and still in original condition, showing how the paper on the walls has changed colour over time due to fading and smoke. The house even includes a book with information on the items in the house which Mrs. Stansbury kept. It is a wonderful opportunity for people to see how people lived in such houses in the past, has many original items, furniture, and other family belongings. It includes Dr. Stansbury's medical office and medical equipment, also interesting. One can visit it on the weekends with a guided tour. The docent we had showed us every part of the house and we were the only ones there at the time. She provided a lot of information about the house and the history of the family. We spent about an hour there. It is definitely a local treasure and well worth a look.

This pizzeria seems to be family owned as it's always the same employees working there when i visit including a man that genuinely cares about your experience and wants you to return. The pizza is unique, it's not quite a deep dish but thicker than a standard pizza crust. Toppings go all the way to the edge. The taste is somewhat buttery, and they have a proprietary spice and cheese blend that is sprinkled on top and really adds to the overall flavor. Cheese sticks are similar to Papa John's or Mountain Mike's in that you get a pizza cut into sticks with a dipping sauce.
