Don't be fooled by the usual low prices online. NO MORE. The quality of the food is the same but all prices have more than doubled! Really! That $5.99 steak is now $13.99! Good food nice people. I think the music upstairs is repulsive and loud and it's makes people uncomfortable and want to leave down stairs. That's unfortunate. We've left numbers of time cause of up stairs. We'll be back, but not if the music continues up stairs. Giving a star rating for the service,bartenders, and wait staff. read more

Expectations were medium, Mulligan's output was high! The price to food quality is hard to match. My $9 burger would be $16 in Portland. The burger patty was thick, the sear on it was perfect and the taste was great. Drinks, food and service all hit a 5/5. WOW! I am so disappointed. I have met my brother every week or two at Mulligans in Biddeford. Great food for 1980's prices, NOBODY could beat it. A hamburger platter a couple weeks ago for $8.99!!! Today it was $15.99, WHATTT????!! A seasonal cocktail, OK, I expected it to be $7 or $8, NOT TODAY, $11.99!!!! Crazy prices now, like every other restaurant! This was a 'blue collar' place, where everyday workers could get a quick lunch and a beer for a great price. Not anymore! Prediction: Mulligans will be out of business before the end of 2025, and NO, that nice hotel across the street will NOT it keep it in business. What a loss for Biddeford!! I guess the son can always sell his Dad's property and move on. What a shame. read more

Comfort Food! Good quality good price! My honey and I were feeling tired, cold and lazy to make dinner so we figured we would give Mulligans a try. I got the cup of chowder which ended up being more of a bowl which was a great surprise and added bonus because I was freezing and wanting something warm and delicious to take away the cold and icky feeling that comes with a long day at work and prolonged winter/cold rainy weather. I also got their Shepard's pie special and again was shocked at the portion.... Food coma settling in as I type this. My beau ordered the chicken quesadilla with veggies and the clam cakes. Heads up they no longer buy their clam cakes so you will get 2 (not 3 like it says on the menu) homemade big clam cakes. They tasted quite good. He finished his meal with cheesecake with strawberries and that was great (she said having stolen a few nibbles when he wasn't looking). I got the Mississippi mud cake to go, because I would be rolling out of the pub if I tried to eat anything else. That will be a late night treat or breakfast tomorrow morning! Will update this review once I get the courage and stomach space to try it!! UPDATE: (the next day)... so I managed to not have it for breakfast but it served as my afternoon pick me up... yeh it was gone in 2 minutes.... So moist and light and delicious! Was standing at the door for 10 minutes before anyone even came over to us. Once seated took another 10 minutes for the server to ask what we wanted for a drink and another 5 before we got our drinks. Enviroments alright but wouldnt come here expecting quick service. read more

I left my wallet there, and when I realized it was gone and called, the waitress had saved it for me. I would give it a 5 for service, prices and selection. We all asked for something altered with our dinners and they came out exactly as asked. The 6 in my party said the food was OK or good - so 3.5. In particular, the sweet potato fries (special that night) and onion rings were really good. My husband's fried fish was a big disappointment to him. He said it was hard (vs tender and flakey, which is how he likes it). I had steak and cheese and it was good. We had a comfortable table and could hear each other talk, but gets bonus points since it was a pub kind of place. read more

We had big expectations and were very let down. We ordered fish and chips and draught beer. The beer wasn't cold. The fish was previously frozen and had a slight fishy taste. It looked and tasted like something out of the grocery store frozen foods department. The fries were similar to what you would get at Friendlys or Denny's. The ketchup wasn't Heinz and had an odd taste. There was no cole slaw. Our server was very nice but not familiar with the menu, thinking a new hire that received little training. It took a long time to get someone to bring us our check. The prices were very good, we wished the food were better. We really wanted this to be good. read more

Seeing less than stellar reviews for Mulligans confuses me. It's consistently stayed as one of the most affordable restaurants in town. Cheap drinks and great food. I had the best cheeseburger soup of my life here as a special. The grilled chicken with a variety of sauces to choose from is delicious. I always add the peppers and onions on top. The mashed and gravy is great too. I know that there are probably some items that some consider subpar, but I honestly haven't had one yet. I really, genuinely love Mulligans. read more

My family has been coming here since the '90s and I always liked it when we headed here, but didn't realize the gem it was until my husband and I moved up here in February. The food is consistently good...and when I say good, I mean GET THE FISH AND CHIPS cuz damn, they're good. So are the onion rings, goodness gracious. Everything is fresh, hot and precisely seasoned. It's a great place to bring friends from out of town, too - because they'll immediately feel like a local and the prices cannot be beat. I love that right on the menus they let you know that their prices are built out to be incredibly low, to to the point where they don't do take out. They literally suggest for you to support other local businesses if you're looking for takeout because their menu isn't priced to support that type of business. I know there was a bit of an uproar when they recently increased prices by $1 per item, which I think is silly - as you can still get a HUGE haddock sandwich at lunch with a FULL plate of fries and tartar sauce for $5.50. That's freaking unheard of! The atmosphere is dope, too. A chill bar, brick interior and gorgeous signage from local businesses which are either no longer in business or have upgraded to newer signage. It's a great homage to the hardworking locals which frequent this great spot. We're proud to now call ourselves locals, and will continue to support Mulligans with our dollars. read more

If you're looking to order Oysters Rockefeller or Creme Brulee then you'll be very disappointed. Dis' ain't da place fo' dat. However, if you want great bar food, friendly service and an eclectic selection of drink specials then this is the place for you. Also has a room with four billiard tables. Neatly decorated with fun pictures and artwork. Only drawback is that parking can sometimes be a problem. Very cheap prices for food. One of the best bargains in town. read more

Hard to believe that you can eat anyplace for less that $5. Everything on the menu is under $5. Everything from fish sandwiches to assorted burgers to fried chicken to club sandwiches.
