I have dined at Town Hill Grille several times. Food, Service and Ambiance are great.

Town Hill Grille has become our date night spot and where we take visiting friends and family. The food is great, cocktails are well made and they have a nice beer menu. The upstairs dining room is light and bright, the downstairs lounge is darker and very relaxed. The full menu is available in the lounge. My last visit I got the onion soup and the short rib tacos, both were delicious. read more

We arrived for lunch on our way back from NH. The service was good and I loved the atmosphere! Cute place that I'm sure could get quite busy for dinner time. The lady, whoever her name is. Just kidding her name is Amanda. Was absolutely fucking spectacular. I would choose a less vulgar compliment if one fit, but she not only the best service I have ever got, she set the bar for future visits to restaurants, to be completely honest, she may have ruined every other restaurant visit in the future. She was attentive, funny, classy, polite and spot on perfect in every aspect of service industry standards. Food was good, drinks were Outstanding. We've been wanting to stop in for a meal here for a while. It's only 15 minutes from the house in Limerick, ME. The food did not disappoint. Hubby had the sirloin tips which consisted of 6 tips but must have weighed close to a pound. They were super tender and cooked to perfection. It came with a baked potato and a veggie side of maple carrot and turnip. I had the chicken piccata. Oooo so buttery tender that it melted in your mouth. There were 3 pieces of chicken each about 4oz all served over fettuccine and a toasted baguette. We finished off the meal splitting a homemade tiramisu which was huge about 5"square and 4 layers high. It was so fresh and smooth. It was worth the treat. Definitely coming back. This place was bomb diggity, and we'd been dying to try it for some time. The restaurant is inside of an old home or shop and had an interesting layout. They had a specials board upon entrance and and decently sized menu. A lot of comfort foods with a slight twist. The food seemed homemade and was really really good. My steak was cooked perfectly and my finance got the New Orleans stir fry and was very very pleased. We also had an apple crisp for dessert, and it was melt in your mouth fantastic! We've heard great things about this place. Finally got to try it and will definitely be coming back! The food was amazing! My husbands steak tips were cooked to perfection. The sauce was so delicious that it should be bottled and sold. No additional seasoning was. needed for the steak tips. Salt, pepper and butter only for the baked potato. The meat was so juicy and tender. The risotto was so good! Creamy, cheesy and loaded with sausage. The optional shrimp on top added another flavor later that paired well with the risotto. We were so full from our dinners we couldn't even think of dessert! Our server was extremely attentive and courteous. This is a spectacular addition to the town of Limerick- we will most definitely be back! read more

We ate in the pub which is not physically connected to the restaurant. Bartender/wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Drinks came out quickly after taking our order and were very tasty. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and easily answered questions we had. Flatiron steak was excellent flavor. The medium rare was quite rare but came back perfectly done after it was sent back to the kitchen. In my opinion, it's better to have it come out underdone than overdone. Salad was huge and all crisp greens. None of the iceberg filler I see at many places. Was a Thursday evening and busy. I understand it can be very crowded on many nights of the week. The pub is nicely decorated and cozy. It was a cold evening and was a little cool inside, but not too uncomfortable. We'll definitively make this a regular stop in the future. We're locals and enjoy supporting local businesses and this one deserves it for sure! read more

Went for a quick lunch while visiting a friend in the area on an early fall weekend. This is a nice little smaller spot with wood floors and a small size, small town feel. Easy parking right on site. Service was quick to be seated and with checking in with us, but for whatever reason our server was definitely making us feel rushed through the whole process, from taking our orders to seeming inpatient when one of the 3 of us still was still eating. The place was not full, so we all wondered what the deal was. Other than that the food came out fairly quickly, the portions were large. I had an awesome chicken sandwich with fries which tasted excellent, was seasoned nicely and not tough with a good roll. My wife had a veggie burger which was quite good as well. Beer list had some local craft as well as the standards and full bar menu. Overall I give 4 stars for the pub style food and would give less for the service due to our server was being a bit rude rushing us All in all I'd go back and would recommend if in area. read more

We have stopped here each time we're in town since opening - and have never had a bad experience. We are a bar fly family, so I can only speak to the back entrance bar section of the restaurant. It fills up and you should plan accordingly - I get that folks don't like to have to wait for a table but when a place is consistently packed, but that means one thing - the place is GOOD. The interior has an elevated vibe and the combination of booths, high tops, and bars seats give good variety and maximize the space well. I've been derelict in my photo taking but none of us have had a single thing here we didn't really enjoy - the wings are AWESOME, the steady menu has some great classics (burgers are delicious and steak tips are always a hit) and they consistently offer a specials menu with a variety of choices from pasta dishes to a special steak to a fresh seafood option, so you can get an old standard or shake it up with a special which is a feature I love in a good restaurant. Sometimes you want that thing you've been craving like crazy and you walk in knowing exactly what you want to order - and sometimes you want to be inspired, and they hit both out of the park. My one regret is I have not yet tried the risotto - I sat next to a guy last time who said he had it the first week they opened and now he can't bring himself to get anything else because it's that delicious. Before this place opened we were not accustomed to getting well-made interesting cocktails in Limerick (don't get me wrong, we are easily beer and shot people too and nothing wrong with that) but the variety is super refreshing. We stop here this afternoon for lunch, the food was excellent and the serve's was equally great. My wife enjoyed the "Grill" burger, which was quite large. I had the Bourbon St chicken sandwich, good size portion of French frie.The restaurant was spotless as well as the rest rooms. Great spot will return again when in the area. read more

We were there on a Saturday around noon and were the only patrons. Others arrived later. The menu had good variety and the food was good. Our waitress was excellent. Tonight we tried out the cloaks of invisibility that we got on Amazon for $99 and they worked like a charm! We tried them at our most favorite restaurant, that we go to at least once a week maybe twice, or should I say used to? The last few times the service has really gone down hill, but tonight took the cake. We came in and waited a second for her to wipe a table for us then sat down with our menus. We kept expecting Jaclyn to come take our drink order, but she kept running by and going in the kitchen (there were only 4 other tables) and then she had the nerve to take the drink order of some people that had just walked in and still walked right by us. We were on a schedule, so we're were getting antsy and decided we would probably get better service by moving upstairs where there was only a couple tables occupied, we told the hostess we were forgotten down in the lounge, then we were given menus and watched while the server served the other table, then expected her to come to ours and she did not. Wait for it - we tried to escape Jaclyn and they made her our server upstairs!!! LMFAO we then proceeded to wait for her some more. We literally extended our wait by moving upstairs. We got our drinks at the 24 minute mark. The food is wonderful, I love it, whoever is cooking back there knows that they're doing and creates great specials, so I'm sad I'm going to miss it, this was our new place, but it's going to be a while. read more

Went for lunch with family. The food was excellent, lots of it and well prepared. The service was good but we were the only people there so don't know what it would be like with more people. We had a table near the windows which was nice but the whole restaurant was bight and cheerful. Their menu is extensive with amazing choices. We will definitely go again. The only draw back is the entrance is closed off from the seating and there wasn't a hostess so they didn't know we were there. Of course it was late afternoon and there was only one waitress so it was understandable. read more

I ordered the Ragun Cagin Chicken Wrap and my husband had the Pepper and Blue Burger. Our meals we fresh hot, tasty and ample portions. The restaurant was clean and bright. Our waitress, Debbie was very pleasant, efficient and friendly. Pricing was very fare! Had I seen the dessert menu first, I might have started with that! Found our new GOTO spot! I've had two just okay experiences here and my last was not enjoyable at all. The bartender Tara made it way too known how badly she wished it was 8pm, continuously being rude to other patrons and complaining of her hurting wrist. I understand having a bad day, but this is my third impression of the same awful attitude with her and some people want to enjoy their meal out and not have to hear someone else complaining non stop. Especially in this small town with few restaurants. I got my food to go for lunch the next day and my chicken was pink. I realized after I ate one whole piece of my piccata and spent the whole next day missing work due to under cooked food making me sick. I worked in restaurants for 10+ years and always left my personal issues and life at the door. I encourage you to do the same, as I will not return after such poor service and attitude and I will absolutely not be recommending this establishment after getting under cooked meat that made me ill served to me. A question for Tara: how do expect people to want to tip you well when you treat them like crap? We choose where to spend our personal time, and you make it unpleasant. Please do better! read more
