The staff is attentive to your needs, the foods not half bad, most are single rooms that shares a bath with one other single room, the color scheme is calming and they are always cleaning! She was very patient with us changing directions on what we wanted. We started out the search with an unrealistic price expectation that was later adjusted appropriately. She even canceled a weekend trip she had planned so my sister could come down to see the places we were considering. It's a very stressful time for people to give up their independence of living in a home. Sheri listens to their needs and goes above and beyond to exceed their expectations. We tried to view places on our own before we found Sheri. It saves a ton of time having someone advocate for your loved ones and schedule the tours. Thanks!

At every step of her journey, she has received exceptional care and abounding compassion. When she moved to assisted living, one of the associates found out that she is a pianist. That associate then donated a keyboard for her to play on headphones in her apartment. That's only one example of the kindness that I've seen displayed over and over. The design of the Via Elegante facility is modeled into three separate segments or home motifs. Each home motif is different from the other and provides a warm and friendly ambiance of both home and neighborhood for each patient. Each home motif has its own separate staff allowing that area to provide more attention and loving patient care for fewer patients. This ensures all patients always receive safe and positive care. The home modeling also allows patients to feel that desired freedom and independence to leave their area and go and visit other friends. When visiting with friends they enjoy different social activities taking place in that model home area on the schedule for the day. Each home motif has a different set of scheduled events and social activities, taking place every day, for patients. A Nurse rings up a caregiver in another motif area, who then takes care of visiting patient and until a scheduled return to their own home. Via Elegante provides patients with the ability to have a private room and/or a pet. This is a wonderful feature that my mother and I both loved and has a value beyond price. Via Elegante has many secure beautiful outdoor garden facilities and I remember visiting with my mom and bringing her dog. We would all sit outside and talk, soft music played from outdoor speakers, while the dog happily and safely ran about the property, and you never had to worry. During holidays, Christmas, I would call Via Elegante staff, they would schedule my mother to spend a couple days at my home. The staff and pharmacy collected all needed medications for the visit, help my mother pack, then call me when she was ready to be picked up. Absolutely amazing and caring facility! Via Elegante goes out of their way to make your loved one feel welcome and they get to know each resident like family. Thank you to Executive Director Ira Branson, the accounting department and all the Via Elegante nursing staff for the loving care you gave me and my mother during her final years. Thank you for finding a spot for her in your beautiful facility! I highly recommend Via Elegante for any loved one that needs a safe and comfortable place to live. The building is beautiful with wonderful views of the mountains and cacti. There is even a piano that my uncle can play! I would urge anyone who is looking for assisted living facilities to consider Via Elegante Tucson Mountains for their loved one.
