If you're lucky enough to score that couch outside overlooking the vineyards, do it. The sparkling wine and champagne make me belch like a high school football player but I did not care because the 2018 Blanc de Blancs Oak Barrel aged was so refreshing, light and delicious that I just kept swigging it. I mean it's too genteel to be swigging anything in these parts but I could not help myself. The 2017 DVX Rose was almost as excellent but not the best of the lot. Sara, the baker, gave us an extra pour of the DVX so instant 5 stars and a lifetime of good karma for her. read more

We've been members off and on for almost 20 years. We make the drive up from the east bay every few months to pick up our shipments and enjoy a tasting while we're there. Service is always great, the grounds are picturesque, and the wine is great. Warm months on the vineyard green or patio are a treat. Until last summer they were dog friendly- but some irresponsible dog owners ruined it when their dogs bit the staff. The Oak Terrace is worth trying if you're a cheese fan. I wish they offered cheese plates in the other tasting options as an add-on. read more

Compared to our visit on the same day to Chandon this was so disappointing. We will not be back. You really need to upgrade your service and engagement with customers in order to match up to most other wineries in the Napa area. Please do better. read more

Gorgeous views, friendly service, delightful sparkling wines. The outdoor patio was modern, sleek, and overlooked expansive vineyards. The facility itself was also modern, clean. Our server was helpful - she took the time to explain the tasting options and answer our questions - we learned interesting information about sparkling wines and Mumm. We ordered all 3 of the tasting options to try all the different wines - toast today, club spotlight, and the perfect picks. We particularly enjoyed the cuvée and demi-sec. Overall, pleasant setting to enjoy tasting sparkling wines. At the end, we bought a bottle of the demi-sec and to our surprise, our server brought out 2 bottles of wine. It turns out, a customer sitting at the table behind us had secretly bought a bottle to gift to us before she left since she overheard our server congratulate me on my upcoming wedding (I was in Napa for a laid-back bachelorette trip with my sisters) - To the thoughtful soul that made our day - thank you! read more

I've been a club member of Mumm Napa for several years now and I can honestly say that the tasting experience is always top notch. My boyfriend and I discovered today that a host we had years ago, Sara, was the same host we had in April 2025 and it was so great to make the connection. She is incredibly knowledgeable and personable and gives amazing experiences time and time again...it truly feels like a friend leading you through a quality sparkling wine experience. The last time I visited, I did have a bit of comeuppance over a relatively new policy change, but one of the managers, Rhiannon, was an absolutely gem and handled the situation with grace and professionalism and made me feel heard as a club member. Overall, I cannot recommend the quality of wines and the customer service experience at Mumm Napa enough! read more

Mumm was a wine tasting place that my girlfriend and I went to on a trip to Napa, as we had heard about it from some friends and wanted to check it out. It is a bit of a drive from downtown Napa, but I have to say that I really enjoy the views here and the patio area looks great! Everything looks very modern and chic, with very helpful waiters who are ready to answer any questions you might have. We were seated instantly as we got here, so there isn't much of a wait to get in. We decided to do one of the flights of sparkling wine to share between us, and I although I am not a wine connoisseur I think that the wines here were pretty solid. We also were able to get some salted chocolate as well, which I think went very well with the wines that we got. I do wish that they offered more food options like charcuterie since other wineries we went to had at least a couple other food items that we could get outside of wine. Overall, I think Mumm is worth checking out as it is in a very aesthetic location and the service here is good! read more

Lovely bubbly spot. I was a Chandon fan and member for years, but I switched to here. Highlights: - Lots of tasting options to choose from: different flights and glasses. One of the flights you can even choose a 4th taste from the full list. - Good variety of bubbles: in quality and varietal. - Beautiful grounds with the vines - Friendly staff: from reception to tasting to checkout. - Classy serene location that's not too crowded. Chandon for me got too crazy the past few years and not as relaxing to be able to enjoy. - Birthday surprise: brought over some cool strawberry flavored chocolate with a pop rocks like sizzle to them. - Can buy bottles you can't in the store: we always have the rose at home from our local grocery store, was excited to grab some sparkling reds. Lowlights: - I prefer the area with comfy seating closer to the vines, but you need to commit to a spendier tasting which I wasn't sure all of my party would be down for. This was our first time here at this winery. The grounds and scenery was beautiful and breathtaking! I came here with my husband to celebrate my early birthday. We've made reservations for the Oak Terrance. We sat down on their patio style furniture and took in the nice breeze and views! Our host was Brando, he was very knowledgeable about the wine that was being served. We wanted to try this winery with their selected sparking wines, it didn't disappoint! He explained each wine to us and we left with 3 bottles of wine to take home! He provided superb service and was very nice to us! My husband loves sparkling wine, so on his birthday, I made a reservation for us to visit Mumm. The good: easy to make reservation on Tock gorgeous patio seating can order by the glass The bad: We definitely felt that the servers had unconscious bias and some people were receiving preferential treatment over others. In a place like this, excellent service is an absolute must in my opinion, our server severely fell short. He spent a lot of time talking to some patrons and would just quickly pop by as if doing us a favor, say some memorized lines about where the valley is etc , give a tiny pour and disappear again. I ordered a glass and didn't enjoy it. For $18, the pour size was soooo small. It looked like they were inconsistent in the amount they pour as some of the preferred patrons were getting full pours for tastings! The wine itself was super disappointing. Terrible service can be made up by excellent wine as it does in some other wineries but sadly it was all the way thumbs down here. Do not recommend. read more
