We got: -Tom yum & creamy tomato soup -wagyu beef chuck eye roll, prime angus short and beef short ribs & New Zealand lamb -fish ball with roe, spam, & corn + it came with other veggies -udon noodle & house noodle and the food came out pretty quick. The side/sauces are on a cart and they have recommendations on which sauces to combine which is helpful. The soup was flavorful and tasty. The tom yum was not spicy (maybe cause my tolerance for spice is high). The meats were good too. Service was great and they came to refill out water and soup a few times. 8/24/25 Zach and I got here around 4:18pm for an early dinner. The menu is on a QR code that is placed at each table. We got the meat lover package to share. Zach and I agreed that the meat was pretty good, but the portions were fairly small so ended up ordering an additional lamb plate. Service wasn't too good that day. My husband's soup was very spicy and he needed water but none of the staff were paying attention so after 10 minutes I got up and located the water container and refilled our cups ourselves. In fact, no one checked up on us during our meal at all. Overall the meat selection was good but small and a bit pricey. Sadly, we were not satisfied with the service. Great hot pot experience, I enjoyed the combo meal menu structure. I got the wagyu chuck with sukiyaki broth, fish fillet, and fish balls with roe. The combo also comes with a veggie platter and rice or noodles. Lots of fun to have your own personal hot pot and be able to customize your own individual broth and ingredients. Really clean restaurant and speedy service, my only note is that it was a bit pricy for the amount of meat that you get (especially compared to malatang or AYCE spots), but the quality did make up for it. read more

At $33 per person starting, there should be an option to choose your sides (more than two included) and choose your veggies (for example, we didn't want any tofu and could have left that off if there was an option). It comes with three plates of meat, two choices of rice/noodle, two soup bases, and a veggie plate which has nice presentation. The beef toro didn't really look good in terms of presentation. After only going to Happy Lamb for hot pot, Mumu Hot Pot was a pleasant surprise. We ordered a set charcuterie board style veg option and had our own pots to put our vegetables into the broth. If you care for it, there are sauces inside that you can dipped your cooked vegetables into for additional flavor. Their meat lovers combo is my go to when I'm with my boyfriend, meat melts in your mouth and broth is really good! My go to broth anywhere is sukiyaki so I can't say much for the other ones but my boyfriend typically alternates between the tomyum and miso. The meat quality was pretty good and it's listed as 40% fat. The soup bases I tried were tomato and tom yum. The tom yum spice level was pretty mild. The vege platter is much larger than most restaurants. Overall, a dog friendly hotpot experience with premium meats, large portions, coming out to roughly $50 per person with tax and tip. Server said that Prime Black Angus Beef Short Ribs and Australia M9 Chuck Eye were the two most popular meats so we got those. Our two sides were fish ball with roe and fish tofu. Both very yummy. We added fortune bag with shrimp. Loved it! The food is so delicious! It's so fresh. The mushroom flavor broth has a lot of flavor. The meat just melts in your mouth. Lots of veggies too with different types of mushrooms. I also like the sauce bar being included. I was extremely full after dinner. After getting our food, we never had our server check on us. I've never really been to non-AYCE hot pot before Mumu Hot Pot. I was very hesitant, but pleasantly surprised that the portions were equally as filling. We got two sets for our table of four and came home with many leftover vegetables. The meat quality was surprisingly very high with plenty of marbling on the beef cuts! The lamb was just ok. The broth is got (tomato) was very standard. One benefit of not having AYCE, is you end up not wasting food and can take some home. Also, you'll probably try new things you wouldn't normally get! However, if you don't like what's offered, you might have to skip or pay extra for add-ons. I'm still unsure if I prefer this to AYCE, but I would try it again! read more
