It's a 3.5 stars for me, some dishes are a hit some dishes are a miss. We went on a weeknight and got seated immediately. We ordered: - Lamb kebab: 3/5 the meat was rough but the seasoning was good - Samsa: 5/5 flavorful and delicious! - Golden toasted lamb: 4/5 the first few bites were delicious but it's generally too fatty the more I bite into it - Garlic naan: 2/5 unfortunately it felt like store bought and wasn't that good

I am not usually a fan of lamb but everything we ordered was delicious. The golden lamb ribs were so tender and the side sauces and spices worked really well with it. The lamb shank was moist and fell right off of the bone. The pilaf rice had a hint of sweetness to it, reminded me of the taste of those chinese herbal soups with gogi berries. The lamb dumpling soup was my favorite dish of the night. The soup oddly tasted like pico degallo because of the onions, tomatoes, and cilantro, but it WORKED. The lamb broth was hearty but clean tasting at the same time and the dumplings were tasty. The cold eggplant dish was a little too spicy for me but was good over the rice. I didn't see their fish dish on their to-go menu so we'll have to go in-person to try that!

Highly recommend if you're into lamb dishes. The crispy lamb is very good - tender and crispy at the same time. Nice interior and easy to park.

Delicious and authentic food! :) great service as well!!! The chili chicken and lamb soup were top on our list

Overall decent halal dishes. Staff are friendly and service is great. Lamb made tender but a bit salty. Rice and salad tastes very good. Also, good portion.

It was very easy to make a reservation. The restaurant has a great family-friendly atmosphere. The food is delicious, and there is a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We will definitely come back again.

The store is a bit small, so definitely expect a wait during dinner or prime-time hours! However, the attentive service makes the experience well worth it. We ordered the Golden Crispy Roasted Lamb Rib and the Braised Lamb Shank, and I highly recommend both: * Golden Crispy Roasted Lamb Rib: This was the highlight--incredibly tender on the inside with a perfectly balanced soft-yet-crunchy outer layer. * Braised Lamb Shank: Absolutely succulent and fall-off-the-bone tender. The Sides & Sauces The dishes were served with a scrumptious rice mixed with raisins, carrots, and apricot pieces. It offered a light sweetness that complemented the aromatic, roasted flavor of the grains beautifully. Additionally, both meals came with three distinct dipping sauces: 1. Chili Oil Sauce (for a kick) 2. Dry BBQ Rub (for savory depth) 3. Yogurt Dipping Sauce (for a cool finish) All three paired perfectly with the lamb, making for a fantastic meal!

Authentic, tasty Excellent Uyghur spot! The lamb soup have the perfect flavor and the lamb kebabs are incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of cumin and spice.

What a hidden gem. Right off el Camino, this is some of the best central Asian food I've ever had. The lamb shank pilaf was hands down the best lamb dish I've ever had, and I love lamb! Service is great, and feels like it's family run. We'll be back here all the time!!

Food was really good! 6-Hour Braised Lamb Shank Pilaf was so tasty! The lamb was very soft and the sauce matches well with meat too! Service was also good! Will come back again for sure!

Mmm super tasty lamb! Recommend the lamb with rice pilaf, golden lamb ribs, and the almond yogurt. Can't wait to try the milk tea.

I didn't know much…read moreabout the restaurant beforehand but sichuan always is a "go" for me and I really wanted to try the signature sauerkraut fish. Both locations were very good, the San Jose one had a bigger menu though (both food and drinks) and it gave free soft serve in mini cones for dessert! I ordered some of the same dishes at both locations (two different sets of friends at each location), but the staples were the sauerkraut fish soup, garlic greens, cucumber salad and truffle fried rice! Highly recommend all!

The restaurant had a very nice environment to it. The service was fine. Our waiter was very nice but the hostess was OK but she definitely did not want to be there. After being seated, we ordered. The ordering style felt like a dim sum spot but that's fine. We ordered the Chongqing chicken, cucumber salad garlic greens and mushroom fried rice. The food was fantastic! The cucumber salad was the only one that we felt was OK but it tasted really good combined with the peanuts in it. The chicken was a different, tastier version of the dish but it was very tasty and was very enjoyable. The veggies were great and tasty, your standard veggies. However, the mushroom fried rice was amazing. I believe it's one of their newer items. That dish alone made the place worth it. I think it's really more of a 4.5/5 but leaning closer to a 5 because of the food. Probably would've been nicer if all the staff were as nice as our waiter, it'd be more of a 5. We'll definitely be back again.

We prebooked the set menu. Boy was it a dining experience! From start to finish, every single dish was so deliciously curated. By the end of our meal, our tummies were full and the entire journey from appetizer to dessert was so satisfying. 808 Zone is truly a place that we will plan to revisit for our next special occasion.

The ambiance is a bit similar to a fast casual restaurant than that of a high end course meal and the service aligns with that. Bathrooms are in a bit of a sorry state and chairs are peeling at the edges. Service is a bit clumsy and rushed. No one asks for any food restrictions before the meal and it isn't asked when reservations are being made, so you'll have to actively speak up if you need this addressed. Dishes are only fully explained at the bar, if you sit at the standard tables you'll get a very basic dish explanation. The food is mostly Chinese Japanese fusion and some dishes knock it out of the park, like the chawanmushi which is fused with flavors of Chinese egg drop soup. Some really drop the ball, like the scallion noodles which were soggy and overly greasy, the oil was not properly infused with the green onion and so you just got mushy soggy plain oil flavored noodles. The course lacked consistency. Some dishes were incredible, some average, and some downright bad. There's a lack of consistency in the prep also, there were crab shells in the orange crab dish, there was a bad bitter uni in one of the chawanmushi, etc. I think the ambiance, service, and course doesn't add up to the $150 price tag. There's definitely potential but the lack of effort does affect the overall experience.

I did not…read moreexpect to find such a good Japanese restaurant in a location that is quite far from the center of the food district. Besides the fried rice, the tuna and salmon sashimi are large, fresh, and high quality. Many times when I eat sashimi that is not very clean, it upsets my stomach and makes me want to use the restroom. However, the food here is both clean and fresh, and I had absolutely no discomfort after the meal. I also ordered chawanmushi and stir fried udon, both of which were very well executed. I would give full marks to this restaurant for both its sashimi dishes and main courses. The service is good, the environment is clean, and the dishes are priced normally, perhaps slightly on the higher side, but the value for money is reasonable. The only downside is that parking around this area is quite difficult. Overall, however, I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys omakase and appreciates high quality Japanese cuisine.

Made a reservation and the phone answerer kindly made an exception for us (normally it's just for 7 people, but we were a party of 5). (Please don't bust her for that nor expect that for your party! It just made my mom's 80-something birthday that much more special!) That started the chain of great service and the amazing day we were to have ahead! We ordered a variety of dishes - Shaka Chicken, Saimin, Chicken Katsu Bowl, Mahi Mahi Tacos, and Mixed Plate. All were delicious! The icing on top was when we told the sweet hostess that it was my mom's birthday, and she said to definitely tell our server! After our yummy lunch, we were given a complimentary order of malasadas (yum!) and then Mom got a special ice cream cup with a huge sparkler candle and the entire restaurant sang to her! But wait, there's more! Noelani's was celebrating their 13th anniversary today, so we got free live musical entertainment (normally it's only on Friday and Saturday nights) by the talented Rick Rasay. Who then proceeded to serenade Mom by changing the words to one of the songs he sang! She felt so special! AND finally, as part of their 13th anniversary, Noelani's was giving out coupons to their paying customers for free shave ice from Paradise Shave Ice who put a pop-up outside their restaurant. So yummy! And they were so super nice too - will definitely keep them in mind for any shave ice catering needs! We don't visit this restaurant as we're down in the South Bay, but we definitely plan to visit them more often! Thanks for making my mom's day so wonderful! This was an especially bittersweet birthday, as it was the first one without my dad, but somehow I think he was smiling down at us and blessing us today!
