Recently dined here for dinner and the experience was excellent. All of the food servers were extremely friendly & took their time to recommend various dishes. All of the banchan (Japchae; kimchi and fish cake) were fresh & yummy. We also ordered fries, corn cheese, fried shrimp for our son. I tried to order a few things here and there that didn't need to be cooked such as oysters and the beef tartare, etc. I ordered the scallop in the half shell and the first order came with cheese on top and I asked the waitress on cooking. She said "you could cook it or not cook it, you could eat it the way it is". The scallop came soft with butter and cheese, and it was in a shell, so it seemed like it was OK to eat. I've eaten raw scallops before. I liked it so I ordered a second order and it came ice frozen literally like scallop ice. I call over a different waiter and question him saying that the waitress told me I didn't have to cook the other one. He said it had 100% needed to be cooked. Also, the staff here are not very nice. This was honestly the most expensive Korean barbecue I've had here in Vegas, and it was not worth a penny of what it cost. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Let's talk about it! Call ahead to see how busy they were on this Saturday night and the gal said come on in there's no wait for a party of two and she meant it. Friendly greeting and sat down immediately upon arrival. Our waiter was excellent. Really The whole staff was excellent. From management to the bus boys/girls. They cleared our used dishes immediately and kept the food rolling. They had all the fixings that a "good" Korean restaurant should have. Perfectly steamed egg, kimchi soup, fish cakes ect. But I would like to state with my whole heart that the sides were all delicious. No skimping on flavor or quality on not one thing. Not even the dipping sauces. Garlic butter...umm hell yes. What I could really appreciate is that they had lettuce wraps and KOREAN CHILLI PASTE. If you know....you freaking know. Brought me back to my childhood with that one. Yes sir! Yukga Korean BBQ straight up means "6th Street" Korean BBQ. Makes me wonder if the owners rolled out of L.A., because 6th Street in K-Town used to run the game. Now? California keeps letting all the good spots die. Classics dropping left and right. Even Hamji Park on 6th Street is gone. R.I.P. But Yukga off Sahara Avenue hidden behind the El Pollo Loco is not going anywhere. This is the locals' all-you-can-eat joint, and we usually roll with the Silver AYCE menu which has a little bit of everything. Best meats are the jumulleok, which is thinly sliced beef, usually short rib or chuck, kneaded or massaged with seasonings into a freaking happy ending, the hanger steak which they call hanging tender with their Morning Glory EngRish is hella legit, and the pork jowls slap like Jay Leno's chins. Yukga also has all the intestines, but skip the small intestines called gob chang, because they cook those in the back and they come out dry. LA Galbi is okay, but the Soy Top-Blade is the real deal. Parking is easy, but expect long ass waits on weekends. Props to Yukga for letting solo diners in. Not sure if they make money off those single eaters. read more

It was our first time here on a Saturday. Surprisingly no line we got seated in two minutes. We chose the bronze menu which was $26.95. I really like the beef belly, and the creamy shrimp. The creamy shrimp is breaded and deep fried with a creamy sauce on the side that reminds me of honey walnut shrimp and the seafood tofu soup was bomb 10/10 it's a kimchee tofu soup with clams and shrimp. The service were very fast you constantly have servers checking up on you. The ventilation wasn't that great it was smoky at sometime. It was a a big spacious open floor plan. The restrooms were kept cleaned for the most par time. Definitely don't mind coming back here. read more
