Inside Cheongdam Foodhall, this friendly Korean katsu house serves up huge portions. Excellent Katsu, but get the sauce on the side. It was a bit overwhelming... and if the sauce is on the side, your katsu won't get soggy.
Kept running by this place when I would get Curry ya and wanted to try it out. The portions are enormous like all the other food options in this food court. I ordered the king combo which came with a bunch of side dishes and everything was delicious. My partner ordered the tteokbokki and you can add stuff into it like ramen and eggs. That was really good too and not too spicy depending on which spice level you choose. We brought home the leftovers . The next day, katsu was still good. The texture was lost on the ttteokbokki but still had nice flavor! Can't wait to come back!
Located at the food hall, and though we tried more of the snack items here, the tonkatsu and other dishes' portion sizes looked huge. A table next to ours got a lot from this place, and wow, what a feast. Unfortunately the table barely finished any of it, so I wasn't sure if it's cause it was wayyyyy too much for them or if they just didn't enjoy it. Anyways, we tried their kimkap, fried kimbap, and the potato tordado thingy. The kimbap were mini ones and had the veggies inside. It all tasted rather standard, but no seasoning whatsoever. Pretty bland in my opinion. It wasn't really a hit with our party. Most of us enjoyed the fried ones though, but I thought it was ok. Def needed that sauce. We were all rather disappointed with the tornado potato / spiral potato side. No flavor, needed to drown it in ketchup lol. I tried one at an all you can eat spot couple days prior and that one was mid, and this was worse than that. Love the concept though. The timing was a bit off too as the other spots we ordered from this food hall, the food came out rather quickly, but this one's took a while and at pretty different times. Perhaps we were here on an off period? Nice atmosphere, get here earlier or non peak hours for a table. Maybe we should have tried our mains here, but maybe next time!
Came here for a quick bite, I ordered just sides, but their whole menu looked good. Here's what I ordered! -Mini kimbap $8 for 8pcs, pretty good deal and they're made fresh. Be mindful that it takes forever for them to make, since they do roll them fresh, so don't order this if you're in a rush. But they were tasty. -Tempura sweet potato $5 - Tasty but a little bit dry -Scallion Korean pancake $5 - loved this sooo much, tons of scallions (but not overpowering in that flavor).
Great portions! The special is definitely worth it. The food hall is cute and clean and super busy! Service was fast. I order the pork tonkatsu and the rose tebokki with clear noodles added.

I tried Tteok-bokki for the first time. It's a lot thicker broth than I expected. Very flavorful. The dish has lots of doughy "noodles" and ingredients. Very filling bowl! I look forward to coming back and trying more dishes from this spot.
Genuinely so, so good! The portions are HUGE. Like enooooormous, and every part of the meal is delicious. I feel like it's hard to find good Korean donkatsu sometimes, so this was such a pleasant surprise. Service was so friendly too! I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again. :)

Jolmyeon is soso. But the price is cheap and good. There is no side dish. It would be nice to give me sweet radish.Only Jjolmyeon was like that personally, and pork cutlet and other foods are all 5 stars!!!
First time here. Just felt like having small bites for lunch. So, I ordered from their appetizers menu: shrimp tempura, chives pancakes and the flat dumplings. The shrimp tempura were fine. But, the chives pancakes were half burnt and unflavorable. The cashier suggested the flat pancakes and said they were delicious. They were not. If you can't do the simple things like appetizers right, I would assume that their other entrees may probably not be satisfying.

If you're craving an authentic taste of Korea in Las Vegas, Namsan Wang Tonkatsu inside Chongdam Food Hall is a must-visit! I tried the King Combo Tonkatsu, and wow--the portion was huge, the pork cutlet was super tender, and it came with mini kimbap and udon on the side. Such a satisfying combo! For sauces, I ordered both the regular and the spicy on the side. While the spicy had a nice kick, the regular sauce stole the show for me--perfectly balanced and flavorful. Don't sleep on their other menu items either. The Spam Tamago Kimbap was surprisingly addicting, and their new Bulgogi Tteokbokki was absolutely delicious--sweet, savory, and with that perfect chewy rice cake texture. Overall, this spot does a fantastic job of bringing the flavors of Korea straight to Vegas. Highly recommend if you want generous portions, quality flavors, and a true taste of home!
Namsan Tonkatsu located in Cheongdam Food Hall along side with many other yummy Asian restaurants. Our group stopped by here for lunch before we headed back to Cali during our Vegas trip. Took me a while to decided on what to eat, but I ended up going with Namsan Tonkatsu because their giant katsu was too hard to resist. I got the King Combo that comes with their giant king katsu, rice, side of coleslaw, mini kimbap, a shrimp tempura and a small bowl of udon. The portion was HUGE and I got to take home the left over and eat them for my next meal. Their katsu was breaded perfectly with w good batter to meat ration. Their sauce was so good and buttery!! Like everything was so good and I left with a full stomach and a happy mood. The lady at the counter was super nice and friendly. Def recommend for big portion and yummy food!! read more

First time eating at Cheongdam Food Hall. I met up with my cousins last week who were passing through Vegas from Colorado and they wanted to eat here. They ordered from Curry Ya but I decided to venture out and try Namsan Tonkatsu. They have a display by the register showing the word "king" on it and I assumed that meant KING SIZE. So I ordered something cheaper thinking I was getting a smaller portion. Boy. was I WRONG. LOL! When they handed me my food, I was like-- EXCUSE ME?! The plate was HUGE. It was practically a serving platter! Two scoops of rice, a massive tonkatsu covered in Korean gravy, salad and sides. I had to recruit my cousins' kids to help me eat it cuz there was absolutely no way I was finishing all of that by myself. Come HUNGRY! The older lady working the register was also so sweet. She was very patient with us, especially since we kept coming back to buy toys for my cousins' kids. She was friendly every single time. I don't think Vegas realizes how rare it is to have a truly authentic Korean style Namsan katsu spot here. I've been here multiple times and they must have adjusted their recipe because it tastes even better than before. The taste is now comparable to what I can get in Seoul. The katsu itself was light and crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside (not oily). The SAUCE is perfected at this point so if management sees this please don't change it. There's little sides and soup to go with it too. This meal in particular I had was perfect so I hope quality control maintains here. Also service was great. The kind lady at the register gave my friend a little sample of the sauce since he never had it before. She was very friendly and didn't hesitate to inform us of our options. I've gotten food from here multiple times, overall food is good and portions are generous. King's combo seems to be the best value and you could get 2-3 meals out of it. The only thing is it now comes with udon instead of soba and the udon was flavorless. read more

Pretty great deal for what you get since the portions are humongous. I've had the tteokbokki in the past and I would've been satisfied at that but my bf has been craving about the the katsu solely because of how big it is (it's probably bigger than your face). I will say the meat is not tender since they have to flatten it so much to make it that size so it's not the greatest quality of food but it will fill you up. Especially that they give some veggie sides, salad, and some potato butter soup. We got our sauces on the side since I'm not a fan of soggy katsu and it was perfection. Spicy king katsu: 9/10 the sauce was definitely spicy and a bit tangy. Not the classic tteokbokki sauce but still a good kick to it Rose king katsu: 9/10 the sauce was creamy and slightly more on the sweeter side. If I were to eat only this I think I would get sick of it because of how creamy it was. But alternating with the sauce from the spicy king katsu was a great palate cleanser read more

My coworker had a craving for Tteokbokki so I remembered seeing this place. The service is always really fast and although I had never previously tried their Tteokbokki I heard great things from this place. Let me tell you it did not disappoint the flavors were sooo good and the spice level was perfect 10/10 recommend. It is located in cheong dam hall so it is like open table seating and more lively. Everyone is nice so it's not a problem and people are pretty friendly so def come check it out read more
We visited Namsan Tonkatsu at the Cheongdam Food Hall on a Tuesday night around 7:30 PM. It wasn't crowded, making it easy to order and find a spot after ordering at the storefront. The food hall has quite a bit of seating, but it looks like it could fill up during peak hours. The staff brought our food out quickly. We ordered the Mini Kimbap, Namsan Tteokbokki, and Japchae Dumpling (5 pcs). The kimbap was my favorite, and I'd definitely order it again. The tteokbokki was flavorful, and we got level one spice. It was fine for me but still a little spicy for one of the people we were with. read more

Namsan Tontaksu had on radar cause it in the same food court as curry-ya and smile Shota. I looked over the menu besides Japanese curry the udon noodle dishes stood out for me. My first visit asked lady explain menu cause little confusing I think and ask her recommendations. She was awesome and definitely five stars service. She told me most popular dish was the Rose tteokbokki. Later realize very traditional dish. I never heard of it. I was excited to try something new. Amazing. The portion is huge in nice size bowl. Hearty. OMG. The udon noodles are beautiful. It shaped like penne pasta. Fish balls, Asian sausage (think Chinese sausage), and hard boil egg. Carrots and lot going on. The sauce nice spicy (they have different levels went with mild) and almost creamy tomato sauce. Depth of the sauce not typical tomato sauce. Truly hearty get bottom of bowl little piece of everything in it. If want some rose tteokbokki. Namsan Tonkatsu is solid. read more
This place is located inside of Cheongdam food hall and it is amazing! The portions are big and the prices are fair and low. The rose pasta was creamy and for only $12 you get 2 sausages, bacon, and 2 pieces of shrimp tempura. The katsu portion is huge and the sauce was and interesting sweet but creamy flavor. There was plenty of seating inside of the food hall and the workers were super nice and I saw them constantly cleaning tables and helping people put their trays away. I went to cheongdam food hall located at spring mountain and durango and I found this amazing restaurant which is namsan they just don't sell food they also have a blind box and I recommend their king combo that good for 2 person it comes with mini kimbap and big pork katsu that really juicy and tasty. I 100% going back here read more
The kimbap and vegetable tempura was 10/10! The kimbap were small rolls that came with a dipping sauce I've never had before! It was almost like vinegar and wasabi mixed. I have no idea but yum! And the vegetable tempura came with a delicious sauce as well. It was like meat Jun sauce. The worker was also so very kind and welcoming! Been wanting to try this place since they first opened. Because of my dietary restrictions i was unable to eat here at first but now that i am more in control of my diet, i can eat here once in a while. We got the spicy cold noodles. Portion was huge, my daughter and I could've shared. We enjoyed our food and had leftovers. Service was excellent. Interior is cute and clean. Parking can be difficult depending on the time of day. Namsan Tonkatsu is one of the newest restaurant locations to open up in Cheongdom Food Hall. It's been about 7 months since I last visited Cheongdom and it has a variety of new restaurants. Namsan Tonkatsu is a Korean restaurant that offers a variety of Tteokbokki, Katsu, noodles and Kimbap. My husband and I ended up splitting a King Combo which included Pork Katsu, Cold Spicy Noodle, Soup, Kkoma Gimbap, and Shrimp Tempura for $18.95. After placing the order at the register, we took our order number and found a table for 8 inside Cheongdom Food Hall. We waited about 15 minutes for the order to arrive at our table. The Pork Katsu was good! We had to ask for a knife though in order to cut the pork katsu. The breading was perfect! It was a thin layer of fried breading on the pork. There was so much gravy on top of the Pork Katsu! It was delicious! The gravy was sweet! The cold spicy noodle was good too. It tasted like a spicy Japchae! The Kkoma Gimbap and the Shrimp Tempura was scrumptious! If we stop by Namsan Tonkatsu again, we'll have to try out their Tteokbokki! read more

We had namsam tonkatsu in Korea and when we saw it was in Vegas, had to come. Slightly different than the one in Korea, but still super delicious. Laurena was so friendly and helpful. Will be back next time we are in Vegas! read more
