After enjoying our dinner at Brandy's Harbortown restaurant we walked over here for some ice cream…read more This was our first visit here with my family of seven including three children for ice cream. We all ordered one scoop of ice cream including the three children. I enjoyed my creamy salted caramel in a cup. The ice cream was creamy and tasty. My total bill excluding cash gratuity was $44.50. My family enjoyed their ice cream so much that they returned here again for more ice cream the next day. I did not participate in their second visit because I am trying to lose some weight during our vacation. More to come regarding the rest of our vacation here.

You can choose a cup or a cone, or opt for a milkshake or sundae. They also have a lot of different handmade chocolates and truffles, as well as packaged snacks and drinks. One day, I got birthday cake ice cream here (had chunks of cake and sprinkles in it) and another day I got the best gummy worms ever to take to the pool (they were SO good). There is a little ice cream window on the outside of the shop, but I'm never sure if we're allowed to use it, as no one is usually at that window. This spot is cute, but seems to slightly change identities each year. I'm sure it's hard to have a business in such a seasonal spot, but thanks for re-opening each year, as we alwaays look forwarad to going!

Artisan chocolate shops are great and all, but have you had a handcrafted fudgesicle?! Who knew…read morethat *this* was the perfect little treat after a long walk in the beach! Flavors come in both milk and dark chocolate varieties, so everyone can enjoy. Another delectable treat outside of Grocer's Daughter's chocolates is their dark chocolate chip cookie. It somehow manages to be both chewy and crispy at the same time. I split one, and, if I could do it again, I would have told my spouse to get his own. It's too good for sharing!

Want next level s'more's at your bonfire? Pick up some, or just enjoy straight out of the bag! The chocolate was better that average, worth consuming, but would've preferred some organic chocolate options. The Chai bar was very good, I love it was a collab with Great Lakes Tea & Spice in nearby Glen Arbor, would repurchase! Also tried the dark chocolate sea salt bark - expected it to have a noticible smoky flavor with the applewood smoked sea salt, it was too subtle/almost not there. The La Croix of sea salt. The vibe of the staff was a bit snooty? They seemed a bit judgy. Would I come back to Grocer's Daughter? Yes. Hopefully the judgmental air was a one-off situation!
