I came in on a Sunday evening. As a first time customer, the Braised Lamb Shank was recommended. I was pleasantly surprised to have experienced fresh seasoned flavored juicy lamb with a side of rice. I also experienced the dubai chocolate parfait. This is my favorite Sunday restaurant. I will definitely be back with my entire family to experience more of their menu. The shawarma doesn't look like a real shawarma. I mean I don't think they cut the meat from anything. It doesn't taste like a real shawerma and has this weird spice which is unnecessary. We had a lamb platter and a chicken/beef platter. All of it was well spiced but dry, tough and over salted, especially the lamb. The rice was also dry and a little under cooked. The insatiable thirst and slight headache we subsequently experienced are evidence of likely MSG use. Everything is more expensive now, but the prices seem high for a place where you order at the counter (you are of course still expected to tip 18-20% minimum). Our bill was comparable to a full service restaurant. And the service wasn't any faster, it was more than 20 minutes before our meals were ready. To be fair, it was busy, but not packed. read more

A great spot to eat lunch. We got the chicken shwarma wrap and the falafel wrap. Both were delicious, full of flavor and nice and savory. Delicious! We came for lunch and both tried wraps. The falafel wrap was flavorful; the actual falafel was well-cooked, not overly crispy. The chicken shawarma wrap was 5/5, seasoned super well! Like a flavor bomb basically. The wraps come with fries which were also very tasty with a nice seasoning on top. We tried the pomegranate cake for dessert and WOW. Easy location to find and park. Semi-private lot as they have signs to designate parking in the lot and there is street parking available. Went for "early" dinner (~3PM) and it wasn't busy. First time here--nice atmosphere and plenty of seating. Service is nice as you order at the counter and you can eat in courses from appetizers to main course then dessert (if you order). We had cilantro jalapeño hummus and fire fries for appetizers. Very good and lots of flavor. For main course, quesadilla (shawarma); chicken shawarma wrap and beef bowl. Chicken shawarma had more curry than I prefer but it was not lacking in flavor. I would try beef next time. Portion size was nice and everyone was full before an empty plate. Nothing comes with pita bread, I like to have pita with my hummus, its $1.00 for one pita bread that's served warm from the microwave. Taboleh was extremely dry, making it hard to swallow. The sauce is not authentic, sour cream and mayo based, yes; I asked. Beef and lamb are seasoned for the American pallet. If you're looking for authentic, keep looking. Was charged the 3% fee for using my debit card. You order at the counter, menu is posted on the wall behind the counter. Waited for a good 20 minutes for our food. Overall, not a good experience. Not a good vibe, not inviting, a nickle and dime you kind of place. The bathroom needs serious attention as well. After my experience today, I honestly believe the majority of reviewers are bots, friends or just fake accounts. I will not be back. read more

I saw this place come up in my Apple Maps and definitely wanted to try it. I opted for a lentil soup and hummus. Both were delicious. The staff were very friendly and the interior was warm and welcoming. I noticed what looked like a Turkish coffee station as well which was wonderful and unique.
