Fell out of love, hard. My boyfriend and I met here so this was a very special place for us. We loved the bartenders that use to work here and they were always so gracious to us. We enjoyed singing karaoke and having a few drinks. We'd meet all sorts of people while singing and it was really fun! BUT that was a year ago and since then if I could give this place zero stars I would. My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday and not only was the service slow, they denied us from singing karaoke at the bar which was one of the reasons why we loved this place. They lowered the volume to all the mics and only allowed us to sing to two screens which were not very conducive to karaoke at a full bar. We asked several times to raise the volume and we still couldn't hear ourselves. They poured really small shots. We practically brought all the business to them that night and our friends also tipped quite generously - all to receive poor service and a lack of hospitality. They ended up asking us to leave at 1am which if you look at the business hours of this page it said 4am. So I'm not sure if their business is so wonderful that they don't need another 3 hours of business when our friends were still buying drinks and asking to pay for songs. But that's just me, what do I know about business? But wait, there's more. That night I vowed never to give them anymore of my hard earned money but my really good friend wanted to have a farewell happy hour there and because I love her, I had to swallow my pride. I got there yesterday, super crowded and was told that we could not sing at the bar AT ALL and asked us to sing in a room for about 15 minutes. They proceeded to charge each one of the 8 of us $13 to sing. Its bunch of bull crap if you ask me but I paid my share and had to run. All in all I'm obviously never coming back here after this review but if they don't change their practices and train these new bartenders to have the same hospitality as their predecessors, I'm afraid this business will have much to regret about - including losing good customers like my boyfriend and me. read more

Nice chill place and good selection of drinks. We had the gin blossom which had nice flavors and good ratio of alcohol in the cocktail and mozzarella sticks which were good. They don't do karaoke at the bar anymore which is disappointing. Double check your receipt because an 18% tip is already included and you may tip twice if you don't read. Muses is my local karaoke haunt. It has amazing rooms with great sound and lighting. It has a full bar rather than the reduced selection that most spots have, and a good song selection. The staff is attentive and courteous. I highly recommend it, especially for parties or large groups, as their rooms are spacious. read more

Had quite the experience here at Muse 35 this past weekend. A bunch of us girls were in the city for my sister who is getting married to try on dresses and we made a weekend out of it. Looking for karaoke that would allow 18 year olds we headed to MUSES 35. We were about an hour and a half early to karaoke. During that hour and a half my eyes were opened to the world that is KPOP. Holy moly, tons of early 20 somethings screaming as each KPOP song came on. Like deafening screams. Bar was very busy no where to sit, took a while to get a drink but drinks were nice and strong. Didn't get a chance to order food as the kitchen had just closed when I started getting hungry. The decor here is SO COOL. Hall way upstairs has all these funky lights that lead your way to the individual karaoke rooms ($10/hr/person). Muse 35 was a really cool bar and a really different experience in NYC. read more

Place was quiet for a Thursday night. We sang a couple of songs and enjoyed each other's company. What was the most disappointing and honestly made us never want to come here again is that they handed us the check and it was the non itemized check. where can I start : first when I booked I asked if they sent a confirmation . no , so I confirmed 2 days ahead only to arrive and guess what my room was taken so I had to squeeze 22 ppl in a tiny room for the same price . the staff was not just unfriendly but rude as if we were an inconvenience which was sad because it was my birthday party . lastly , they water their premium alcohol down or replace it all together . I noticed it and so did all of my guests . when I asked for a new bottle opened they said we only have one bottle (lol) . later I saw the storage room and sure enough many bottles . if I would give any positive the place was very clean . Really fun spot. They have karaoke that people sing from their tables which is super cool. They have speciality cocktails and finger food. They have 20% happy hour. It's a perfect after work bar. I would come back and bring friends. read more

This is a brand new karaoke place with a nice bar in the main floor and many karaoke rooms. I went on a Saturday night and it was not too busy which is nice. The machine did freeze on us twice which isn't the most convenient but it was a good experience overall! Has a really cool light design too. read more

In love with this new Karaoke bar! I go to a lot of karaoke bars in the city, and this is one of the few that literally have all my songs!! I love that they play the music videos with your songs. Nice atmosphere, newest karaoke equipment (in Korean, but server does a great job explaining how to use everything), quality song selection from oldies to latest hits in English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese. Love the lighting in this place as it makes an excellent backdrop for an impromptu photo shoot with the friends. Convenient location a plus. Close enough to Koreatown for the food, but far enough from the crowds of Koreatown and Penn station. The flat rate for karaoke makes it really easy to figure out who pays what. read more

I love loud music wherever I go, however this place had Od loud music that I wasn't the greatest fan of- NySync and Fallout Boy (I know they were good in their classic times but it's 2018 lol). I wouldn't order food from here but only from my personal experience because the wings were very fatty...I like my wings more cooked. The drinks were good and I loved our waiter Kenny, he was very attentive! If you're looking for a Karaoke spot this place is very nice and clean and spacious. Don't give this place your business. We decided to head to a karaoke bar after leaving Pier 81. As we got in, we were told by staff that there was no space available. That they were at capacity. Three Africans Americans ladies were also turned away. As we walked outside, stood by the see through windows, trying to decide where to go, a group of Asian males and females walked right in and were greeted and served.They are completely unprofessional and out right racists. read more

I went to Muses 35 for BTS/K-Pop night and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this business. The song selection is amazing. The microphones are easy to figure out and everyone passes them around pretty frequently to share attention. The party never stopped and got better and better as the night went on. There were so many great people to meet, all of whom really appreciated the bartenders help in finding the songs they wanted. The drinks are mixed very well, and they taste great. My Long Island Ice Teas were heavenly to be honest. And the soju bottles are a fun buy when you're looking to buy everyone shots like I was. Meanwhile, the service is amazing! The bartenders were so kind and gracious it was really a pleasure to visit this place. That night was some of the most fun I've ever had and I really appreciate Muse 35 hosting this theme night for the second time. I'm going to keep my eye out for the next one. read more

Came for happy hour. Saw the prices on the drinks. Looked reasonable. Got 2 buckets of blue moons & split it with a friend with some food. One order of beef dumplings & one of wings. I love the aesthetically pleasing interior design. I believe this is the best looking karaoke bar in the US! (I live in CA with lots of karaoke options but this one wins hands down.) The co-works who took me here said they just opened not top long ago and it showed. The place was pretty empty when we arrived around 5:30ish. This is hands down the best karaoke bar I've ever been to. It's absolutely beautiful, the drink pours are generous, prices are good, and whether you want to sing in the private rooms or in the general bar area, it's great. There's never a long wait to sing a song, which is awesome if you and your friends just randomly want to belt out songs in front of strangers and don't want to wait 30 minutes to get on the mic. And if you have friends that hate karaoke and you like making an idiot out of yourself on a mic anyway like me, this is the best place to do it since it's also a beautiful bar that you can just chill at. We celebrated my best friend's birthday here and it was unforgettable. It's a very cool place with karaoke lounge and a 30-foot bar. We have booked a private room for the party. The room was equipped with brand new karaoke machines, state-of-the-art sound systems and HD flat-screen TVs. We had Pajeon (savory Korean pancake) and 3 sushi plates with Shrimp Tempura Roll, Rainbow Roll and a Dragon Roll.
