When it was run by the Musgroves they did a fantastic job taking care of services for my dad & mom(Richard & Norma Beebe) where we lived near Churchill High School, but both worked for Crow School District. We had services in this area and then graveside in Newberg....Very well organized, compassionate, etc....unfortunately, they all retired and too bad their name is being spread around hit/miss according to these reviews as far as quality....wish they could take their name off the business as it appears its lost its local quality and care/concern.....Great when we needed them(1989/2003) and many friends and relatives in between. read more

We love out of state and we were ​informed there are weeds covering their headstonesI am thinking about getting an atty because they would only fix it temporarily and still wouldn't maintain it. When someone you loves dies, you experience mind fog, or I did!! To have a quiet, competent, kind person to help with the details is invaluable!! Rachel was that person for me. She would explain something again and again. She would reassure me that I'd be getting a folder with the paperwork. She adjusted the time of daddy's inernment with only a few days notice. She was understanding.... Jenny was the sweet person who gave me the death certificates. Again...the KINDNESS, is so appreciated I understand that saying now. PEOPLE WILL FORGET WHAT YOU SAY, BUT THEY WON'T FORGET HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL so very very true!!!!!! Do not use this place. They care only about taking your money, and once they have it they don't even return phone calls. You are never made aware of the status of your loved one. I had the worst experience with this business. They don't care - they are short staffed, and they are all about milking families for every penny they can get out of you. Use any other mortuary, and make sure it isn't owned by Musgrove, as many are. It took 3 weeks for cremation and 2 months to get a death certificate - not acceptable. Almost 3 thousand dollars for a simple creamation - most places are 8-12 hundred. My brother died unexpectedly- they had us at our most vulnerable - and took advantage. I am considering litigation against this "business" . If you want a funeral home who cares - go elsewhere. read more

Musgrove's took care of both my mom & dad's funerals and many of our church friends from the Eugene Friends Church. They even took care of the graveside service for both which was in Newberg, Oregon...Kudo's to their sympathetic demur and constantly checking w/us to make sure everything was according to our wishes. All my family members are buried at both locations. I lost my mom back in April 2017 and although the arrangements and service was nice. I have to say the location where they placed my mom is horrible. She is located in the Veterans section. For the price we paid for a double plot due to my Veteran father still being alive you think they would take better care of. These are Veterans!!! Besides the lack of grounds keeping, she is next to the loud freeway. There is no gate surrounding that area so things get stolen all the time. We had to plant grass seeds three times and this area hardly ever gets maintained. My mom was the most lively, well known person. The register guard even wrote a huge article about her and they place they put her is nearly in the very back by a busy road soppy wet with water. I'm really disappointed that they don't have better grounds keepers, surveillance, or a fence!!! I don't know who else does burials but I would look around because we literally had to call to complain about the dirt not being covered, the items getting stolen, and lack of care a couple times. read more

So, I had a good experience on the day of the viewing with my father, but afterward every single thing about this funeral home went south. I feel they were dismissive, rude, unprofessional, unkind, discourteous and all around narcissistic and gaslighting in their approach to simple conduct and practices that should be present in a funeral home where empathy for the grieving and those who have differing needs and accommodations for disabilities are trying to navigate the loss of their loved ones. They refused to apologize for repeatedly interrupting a hearing impaired customer trying to find the cremains of their parent and then acted the grieving person was in the wrong for citing ADA law where they were acting rude and downright interruptive when someone was trying to explain a need to find their loved ones ashes. Ashes that had been emailed and called out relentlessly for two weeks to no avail because nobody from the funeral home would return the requests for information. It was godawful the way they acted and I would recommend anyone with hearing problems NEVER work with them. Rude, uncaring and unprofessional conduct during the worst of times and I will never forget it. read more

Musgrove mortuary has helped us cremate our son and our cat. Both losses were difficult and hard to navigate through. They were understanding and so delicate with me and my husband while we dealt with the loss of our son. They blessed us and shined a light on us in a very dark time. Highly recommended!! read more

This business is just that, they only care about how much money make. They have little compassion for the grieving family members. Again they only are interested just much money can get out of the family. When my Grandmother died I was unable to she before they took possession of her body and I asked see her briefly they told me I would have to pay $327 just see her. I will never have anything to do with this crooked business and recommend strongly you look elsewhere read more

If I give could Musgroves higher than a 5 star rating I would. When my grandparents and aunt have died over the years my parents were the ones responsible for handling the arrangements and received comfort and support throughout each process. When my aunt passed away last October and was driven to Klamath Falls for her service, the employee visited with my family afterwards and didn't leave until he felt like my family was satisfied with both his services and our own personal emotions. I would never hesitate to recommend Musgroves for help after the death of a loved one. read more

We put my grandmother to rest here and we're extremely content with all aspects of the services here. It it is now time to lay my mother down to rest. In these difficult times our family wanted one last goodbye with out mother and we were told that it would be a little over $400 to say our goodbyes and to transport her out of the refrigeration area and into a room for us to view her and say our final goodbyes. Let's face it, we're all here to make a living, no matter what our profession is, but, in difficult times like this, charging someone an astronomical amount of money to say goodbye to a loved one disgusts me. Not to mention during our meeting we were interrupted on three different occasions by a coworker while making our funeral arrangements for my mother. Will never return. read more

From the moment they'd realized that I'd entrusted them to care for Dave, to the months following, I couldn't have felt a greater level of care and compassion. We were told 3 times by their staff member that we were getting the "Bare Bones Package". NOT ONCE did she offer her condolences to my mother or any family member. That probably would have also been an extra fee to our BARE BONES PACKAGE. Tenderness was also not an option with our BARE BONES PACKAGE. They need to spend more time caring for grief stricken families and less time bragging about all the wonderful ways they donate their time and efforts to the community.
