They have great food and great service. Very customer oriented and truly appreciate your business! Reasonable prices. Book them for your next event!

Had the Brisket Sandwich, which is very good overall. The brisket was good, but not great, without a tremendous amount of flavor, and not super moist. My biggest problem was that the brisket I got was extremely fatty. Not just "moist brisket" with nice marbling, but a streak of fat that was probably about half the total slice. Everything else about the sandwich was really tasty, but this was a Brisket Sandwich so I would have expected more. Especially when the business is called "Music City Brisket".

Music City Brisket is in their Grand Opening phase! A gentleman stopped by my office (nearby) right as I was thinking about lunch and handed me a card. I had to go! The flavors and portions were off the charts! Definately some of the best Bar-B-Q available! Make this stop a MUST on your Nashville to-do list!Brisket Sandwich

I first found out about Music City Brisket through street food Thursday's downtown Nashville food was always fresh and very delicious. I went to the location on Hayes street wasn't too busy. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by some very friendly people. I ordered the avocado fries with a side of yum yum sauce along with 2 brisket tacos . Food was very delicious the tacos had a slight kick to em because of the fresh jalapeño they add to the pico de gallo but it wasn't too spicy I thoroughly enjoyed and will make sure to go back food did not disappoint!

I'm really surprised to be the first reviewer for this Food Truck. My little town of Smyrna has a "Food Truck Festival" every month or so sponsored by Cousin's Maine Lobster truck (review to come for them as well) which is really just a few trucks in one of our strip mall parking lots,.. but hey.. it's how we roll here in little ole Smyrna. I am SO GLAD this truck was at this months little meet-up, as I have found yet another amazing food truck I will begin stalking. First things first- What we ordered- Brisket Sandwich- grilled ciabatta bread with caramelized onions, grilled mushrooms, green peppers, and Havarti or provolone cheese, topped with spicy Russian sauce or homemade BBQ sauce- we opted for the Spicy Russian, and it was just that! Spicy. But really good flavor. I don't eat peppers, so I picked off some of the brisket, and it was good. Fat rendered well, Good smoke, just an all around well done piece of meat in my opinion. $9.00 Shrimp Tacos- grilled, flour or corn tortilla with avocado, roasted corn, red cabbage, fresh cilantro, and a lemon wedge. Drizzled with Japanese "yum-yum" sauce. OH MY GOD! Out of 3 food trucks, and trying the "best sellers" of each one, this was by far my favorite bite of the night. And for the price, I wish I had got like 4 of those bad boys. $4.00 They also serve avocado fries that I completely forgot about ordering, and was pretty bummed about it, because the line had just gotten way too long to get back in it. And I noticed as we were leaving, they sale BRISKET BISCUITS for your dogs! $4.00 With homemade, fresh ingredients of pumpkin, honey, cinnamon, and wheat flour With a sign that read: Veterinary tested and approved! All proceeds go to the Tennessee Death Row Dogs Organization. So had I known that as well, I would have gotten my pooch something. Next time! Oh, there will be a next time! Those shrimp tacos are calling my name

Found these guys at a St Patrick's Day party. I had the Brisket Taco and Cajun Fries. The Brisket was delicious. Meet the owner. He was very nice and friendly. The entire staff was wonderful.

Honestly I've never been a fan of food trucks until I found Music City Brisket. The brisket was outta this world! It takes a few minutes to get your food & it's almost $10 for a sandwich. However that's because it's made to order fresh & delicious! I got a side of fries and they were great as well. Definitely a phenomenal food truck in Nashville. I'm glad we gave it a shot!

    Sexy beast

Perfect service great food 10 out of 10 recommended. Best brisket I've ever had. The people working the truck were the nicest in the world and made sure all of our needs were met. I will be coming here again!

I'm not a nashville local, but every time I'm in town I have to find the Music City Brisket truck and get some loaded fries. Cajun style. Sriracha sauce. I went so many times during CMA fest they started recognizing me . Great service. Amazing food. Must try at least once!

MCB's food truck came to my work this week. One time and I'm already hooked! I had the brisket tacos with Cajun fries. The tacos were the perfect size to fill you up without being too much. But the fries...I literally can't get over the fries. SO GOOD. I want the Cajun spice they use so I can put it on everything now. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I needed to save this until later but it smelled so good I had to eat some

Is this place still operating? Looks like the Hayes St. location is closed down and I haven't seen the truck downtown Thursdays in a long time. The brisket tacos and fries were the best.

It's a counter service joint; you walk up, order, and then someone runs the food to your table. First off, they asked for a point of service tip; that bugs me when I'm ordering my own food at the counter and fetching my own drinks. The menu is fairly standard for a southern BBA joint; brisket, pulled pork, ribs, turkey, chicken. I am generally suspicious of any place that offers chopped brisket. Brisket is meant to be sliced and enjoyed as a slab of meat, not as a pile of hash. So, the chopped brisket sandwich was out for me. I asked if the brisket platter would be served as slices, and they assured me it was, so I ordered brisket with two sides. They recommended the beans and the Mac 'n cheese, so that's what I went with. They also asked me if I wanted the meat lean, marbled, or half and half; I took that as a good sign, and asked for marbled. They food came out in about 5 mins; just enough time for me to head to the soda fountain and fill my own cup. Maybe they should tip me? On the plus side, the portions were pretty large. I'm guessing that the served at least 6-8 ounces of brisket, and the individual sides were pretty large as well. On the other hand, whoever sliced the brisket simply didn't know what they were doing. They sliced it WITH the grain, producing slices full of stringy meat. Stringy meat that was hard to cut with the plastic cutlery provided. I find it hard to believe that anyone who regularly serves BBQ brisket doesn't know to cut the meat against the grain. The meat appeared to feature a nice bark; however, on further exploration, a) the bark was so tough that it couldn't be cut as all with the plastic cutlery, and b) when I tore into it with my fingers and ate a piece, it had no taste. Not even a basic Texas salt and pepper rub could be detected. A large portion of tasteless, poorly cut meat does no one any favors. The beans were a little underdone; IMHO, that's far better than mushy, overcooked beans. However, they, too, had no flavor. No spice, nada. The mac and cheese was shells in a white cheese sauce. Strike 3; zero flavor for the sauce. I don't know how you can make cheese sauce without flavor, but they managed to do so. I have never, ever thrown as much food away at a a BBQ joint than I did today. What a shame. Not recommended, not even a little bit. Try Martin's or Edley's; if you prefer a chain, Mission BBQ will do you much better than Hogwood.

Our group decided to sit in the common area so everyone could grab food from different restaurants. After ordering, I told them where I'd be sitting, and they gave me a table number so they could bring the food right out. Easy and convenient! I ordered the Tri-Star platter, which came with pulled pork, brisket, and pulled chicken. All three meats were tender and flavorful. Don't be shy with the BBQ sauce, it really takes everything to the next level. The platter comes with two sides. I chose one vegetable, baked beans, and one fruit, banana pudding. For those not from the South, macaroni and cheese is considered a vegetable, and banana pudding is absolutely a fruit. That's just science around here! The meal also included cornbread and slaw, making for a hearty plate of food. Everything was very good, portions were generous, and the service was excellent. Overall, a great BBQ experience with tasty food, friendly service, and plenty of seating options. I'd definitely come back hungry!

Every item from the entrees down to the sides ( Cornbread & Mac & Cheese ) was absolutely fantastic not to mention the tandem of servers were very attentive & did an excellent job of taking care of us. One more bonus was for new customers they will give you a complimentary Banana Pudding for dessert which also was excellent. After all, can you imagine having digestive problems while playing hockey? I love barbecue so I thought I'd try this place. I walked in and it wasn't at all busy at 5:32. However when I finished my order, the line was out the door. I asked the cashier what was good and the manager (maybe owner) walked over and I asked him. I wanted ribs or brisket, but needed a 2nd opinion. He said he would choose brisket because theirs is USDA Prime and he would put it against any other barbecue restaurant in Tennessee. Those are some bold words. So I ordered the brisket platter (fatty portion) with green beans and cinnamon baked apples. What I received was 3 good sized portions (1/2 pound) of fatty brisket. The meat was tender, melt in your mouth without an overbearing amount of fat clumped together. The bark was salty and very peppery. It was actually good enough to eat without a sauce. Speaking of, there was only one sauce on the table, so I used that. It was a sweet sauce, definitely honey-based but not overly sweet like other honey-based sauces I've had in the past. The thing is I love everything honey-related, so I would definitely buy this to take home. It was so good, I was scavenging for brisket fibers on my plate. So I praised the brisket but I think the shocker was the green beans. These were hands down, the best green beans I've ever had...ever. Salty, tender, peppery, with chunks of meat and fat, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Who would have thought that a side could be that good? Last but not least, the Cinnamon Baked Apples. I love baked/fried apples. Something about the tart and sweetness brings me back every time. The apples were soft, but not mushy. I would have liked them to be a little more tender and more slices of apples. I think there was more sauce than apples but nevertheless, they were great. Overall I'm glad I visited Honeyfire for the first time. I'm here often (near Bellevue) so I'll definitely be coming back again and again.

If you're looking for a great place to get away from the city and enjoy some amazing live music,…read morethis spot in Liepers Fork is absolutely worth the trip! We've been here several times, and the one thing that never changes is how incredible the music is. Every visit has had a great lineup and a fun, energetic atmosphere that makes it easy to forget you're just a short drive from Franklin. Make sure you get a reservation! This place sells out almost every night, and for good reason. If you don't plan ahead, you might miss out. Once we were seated, I started with a Margarita, not bad at all, but honestly, this place is really about the music, not the drinks or food. For an appetizer, I went with a couple orders of Pork Rinds. If you know me, you know I always look for hidden menu gems, so I asked for some pimento cheese on the side, and trust me, this is a must! I've been asking them to officially put it on the menu for years. Maybe one day! The pork rinds come out sizzling hot, and with that pimento cheese, they're absolutely next level. For my entrée, I had the Saturday Special: Beef Brisket, Baked Beans, and Mashed Potatoes. It was solid comfort food and hit the spot. Others at the table went with the Famous Big Bologna Sandwich, which is honestly a memory in itself, definitely one of those signature items you have to try at least once. But let me be clear: you are here for the music, not the food! And the music alone makes the whole experience worth it every time. Tip: Get there well before the show starts so you have time to eat and settle in before the music begins. Once the band starts, you won't want to miss a second of it. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better music, this place is a true hidden gem just outside the city.

It's a solid, casual meat-and-three that's become a gathering place for both locals and visitors. The friendly staff and frequent live music create a lively atmosphere, and if you're already coming to Leipers Fork for a show, it's a great place to grab a meal beforehand. The menu offers classic Southern comfort food with rotating daily specials. The pulled pork is one of the more consistent meats, although I've had it arrive perfectly tender on some visits and a bit dry on others. The second meat changes throughout the week, which keeps things interesting for repeat customers. I've worked my way through all of the sides, and the fried okra is easily my favorite. It's consistently served hot and crispy, though I think a signature seasoning blend would make it even better. The macaroni and cheese is another standout, although I've occasionally received it lukewarm. The sweet potato fries are also enjoyable but could use a little more crispness, and I think they'd really shine with a house-made dipping sauce like a hot honey mustard. The green beans appear to be canned, which doesn't personally bother me, but they leave an unusual aftertaste that keeps me from ordering them often. The collard greens have good flavor but tend to include more stems than I'd prefer. The baked beans lean savory rather than sweet, which may appeal to some diners, though I usually prefer sweeter baked beans with barbecue. The mashed potatoes are simple and would benefit from the option of either cream gravy or brown gravy. One item that always kept me coming back was the chicken fingers. For a long time, they were some of my favorites in the area--crispy, flavorful, and good enough that I've driven out from Nashville just to order them. Recently, however, the breading seems to have changed, and they haven't quite been the same. The onion rings are another reliable choice, arriving consistently crispy, though I think they'd be even better paired with a signature dipping sauce or seasoning. Overall, I think the atmosphere is what makes Fox & Lock special. The staff is consistently welcoming, the live music is excellent, and it's an important part of the Leipers Fork community. If you're visiting the area for the music or exploring the town, it's absolutely worth stopping in for a meal. While I don't think the food alone is worth making a special trip from Nashville, it's enjoyable comfort food in a fun setting and a place I'm sure I'll continue to visit.
