Visited Edley's in Nolensville on a Monday night with my husband and three young kids. I've been to all of the Edley's locations around Nashville, but this one is by far the best for families, mostly because of the outdoor play area. Parking was super easy, and the woman at the counter was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, and the restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of tables and room to spread out, which is always appreciated when dining with little kids. My kids played outside while we waited for our food, but the food came out quickly. The kids' meals are some of the best values in town. One tip: the bun on the kids' cheeseburger is huge compared to the patty. I asked if they could add an extra patty, and they did for just $1. After removing some of the bun, it made for a much better burger and still kept the meal incredibly affordable. The spicy chicken tacos are also some of the best tacos in town. Our family of five ate for about $50. We usually buy Edley's gift cards at Costco, so our actual cost was closer to $40. It's refreshing to have a restaurant in Nashville that truly welcomes families while still serving great food. Highly recommend for anyone dining with kids. read more

10 out 10!! No complaints. 6 of us split the Smoker Sampler - ribs, brisket, pulled pork with extra side of turkey and lean brisket so we could try 5 meats. We also had Cole slaw (vinegar based, they stole my recipe!!!), green beans x2, and grits (yummo with a kick!). We also got free banana pudding since it was our first visit. Oh my, the best banana pudding I've had to date (better than my recipe!)!! Hope we can come back next year when we are here for hockey tournament season again!! Service - lovely, kind, sweet southern hospitality! Ambiance - rustic, southern, and spacious with a sprinkling of TVs. There is a full bar but we did not sit there with the kids in tow. We loved the patio! So family oriented, relaxing and breezy on a warm day. The sides are great especially the baked beans & grit casserole. Cornbread is distinct & yummy! The ribs are dry & fatty. The chicken breast is very chewy & dry but the leg and thigh was tender and moist. This Edley's location has a parking lot with ample parking. There were a few patrons inside early evening. Right after we ordered, there was a constant line of people. Ordered the brisket and pulled pork combo with grits and mac and cheese with a side of corn bread. The brisket had a nice bark and was tender and flavorful. The pulled pork was also tender and went well with the bbq sauce on the table. I really enjoyed the crispy topping on the mac and cheese and the flavor of the grits were amazing. The ribs my family ordered were also tender and delicious. I also got to try the banana pudding for dessert and it was pretty solid. Sweet tea is refillable during the duration of dining in. It was nice that we were checked on as we were such a large group (11 people). Definitely recommend coming to this location and maybe even trying out trivia advertised on Tuesdays. read more

Edley's is my favorite bbq in Nashville!!! Anytime I'm in town I have to stop by. The food is always great and service is quick. The banana pudding is a typical banana pudding in my opinion. Tried this place for lunch today. Surprisingly wasn't that busy but that also may be do to the small parking lot. Ordered the food and then went to the bar to order the bushwacker. Came out fairly quickly with good portions for the price. Brisket was fall apart tender to the point you had to use a fork otherwise it would just fall apart in your hands. Everything had good flavor but hands down would come back for the sides and the cornbread alone. Nice atmosphere, inside not over crowded with seating and very clean. The drink was super strong and thick to the point I couldn't even sip it had to scoop it cause to thick for the small straw. Don't think I'd order the drink again though. I'm very lucky to travel a lot for my semi-retirement. We were in Nashville for a few hours and I searched Yelp for some of the best recommendations because we wanted to try some Nashville hot chicken! This place started to get busy fast just minutes after the door opened. That was the first of many great signs! Love the interior and tons of seating. The outdoor patio looked like it was enclosed and heated for the winter. The bar looked stocked and ready for us! The staff is super friendly and helped me pick out my grits casserole and recommended the Mac n cheese. That sandwich came and I knew was in for a great lunch. However, I started with the Mac n cheese! Ohhhh my lawd!!! It was PERFECT! The noodles weren't mushy and had the perfect consistency and the cheese amounts was absolutely ! Some of the best I've ever had! The grits casserole was equally good but damn that Mac n cheese was spot on! Then came the sandwich! Just the right amount of heat for me that I enjoyed it. The chicken is huge and extends out all over from the bun, which was a perfect bun too! The sauce in top of the chicken was amazing! I will be back here next trip to Nashville!!! read more

First time in Nashville and was near Edley's so I thought I'd give it a shot. I sat at the bar and was well taken care of. After hearing of specials from the bartender I opted for fried ribs with hot BBQ sauce. Now first impression... it's not pretty lol just looks like the ribs were burnt (I do like charring though) However, that first bite... the meat fell off the bone and was so moist and tender on the inside. The flavor just squeezed right out into my tongue and I knew I was wrong for judging its exterior looks! The Mac and cheese I got on the side was also delicious. Just the right amount of cheesy! As far as the interior: I like the set up.. pretty standard restaurant/sports bar with lots of TVs. Updated review: I was blown away by the food and hospitality here. I ordered a half slab of ribs with fries and grits casserole on the side and was totally in heaven. The grits casserole was so cheesy and packed with flavor, and the ribs were fall off the bone. The real star was the bbq nachos, which were served on thick crispy potato chips with pulled pork, sauces, and tomatoes. It's a lot of food for the price too! The waitress who brought us our food asked if it was our first time here, and since it was my boyfriend's first time, she brought us a cup of each bbq sauce to try (jalapeño ranch and a white bbq sauce) and a scoop of banana pudding on the house--which was also fantastic. Service is great and very accommodating. And it's just a nice big but cozy place where you will leave happy. The food was pretty good here. I had the wing platter with Mac and cheese and red potato salad. My issue is I asked the employee if the potato salad had bacon in it. He told me no. I was very concerned because I thought I read online that there was bacon in the menu. Still I was reassured by two people that there was no pork in the potato salad. I went back to the menu online and it turns out there is bacon in the potato salad. I am grateful I did not try it. The Mac and cheese was tasty. I prefer my Mac and cheese baked but this was seasoned well. The bathroom was nasty. I mean one step up from gas station nasty. The food was good. The French fries were excellent. I've tried Kansas City and St Louis BBQ spots and am disappointed in Nashville style BBQ. Service was very good, the sauce was interesting in a good way. Ambiance was perfect. I don't want to discourage people from trying, but KC (Wolfpack BBQ) and St. Louis (Daleila's Smokehouse) has better ribs. read more

We were all in the mood for BBQ. I have to say that Edley's did not disappoint. Upon recommendation , my nephew tried the BBQ lamb Gyro and he absolutely loved it. I had the Brisket sandwich. It had a very good flavor and the fries were done just right. My wife had the Turkey Avocado salad. We also shared a plate of Fried Okra...yum! The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
