As these reviews suggest, there was once a woman who worked there that was apparently great with graphics design. My dad heard from a friend of his about this woman's design work. We would find out later that this woman was no longer with Isomedia. The man you should avoid is named Greg. The project was a disaster! Panels were on the wrong areas, a barcode ended up being placed over a band member's face, and to top it all off, THE CDS DID NOT HAVE AUDIO! Kee was our design artist. When this person sent over proofs, it did not include a barcode but green lines over one of the band member's faces. I, of course, emailed them about my concerns, Kee said the green line was just a template line and the red line was where the paper would be cut-the proof didn't even HAVE a bar code. On January 23rd, I approved the proof after Kee told me the green lines would not affect the final product. On Feb. 3rd, I got notice that the project was done and my dad called me to tell me of the mistakes, including how the cds didn't have audio and the pictures were wrong. Greg would later email and call me to drag the process along. He would tell my dad he would call him back and then wouldn't for days. Once I made changes to the design myself to make room for the barcode in good faith they would be fixing it, Greg called me to inform me that because I changed the project I would be charged again. After I explained it was not a mistake on my part he got his cds back, and we're asking for our money to be returned. This has been very stressful, so our lawyer will be the one to have to sort it out if he doesn't respond in a timely manner. I've included a screenshot of the proof I approved and the product we received. It should have been a simple redo, but either the company is broke (since they clearly don't want to lose more money even though it's clear they were in the wrong), or Greg is running all of the business himself and is drowning. Either way, we will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau. BEWARE and keep everything in writing because you will need it!!!!

And the person I was dealing with would barely return phone calls or emails so I had to spend so much time just calling and trying to catch him. And to this day I spent so much money and never received what I paid for and they REFUSE to refund any part of the money I spent. Very disappointing!

He had ties to and thought along the same lines as Lawrence Ferlinghetti, the founder of City Lights Books in San Francisco. They were 3 brand new Switch 2 games, completely factory sealed and within the return window. An employee named BRYAN, a senior associate there that clearly didn't want to be there evidenced by his bed hair, told me that they could not accept the return because GameStop.com orders have a special return system and needed to be returned to specific stores around the country. That doesn't make sense for a completely unmarked, completely factory sealed game. Even worse, I had talked to GameStop.com customer service before going to the brick and mortar store who told me the returns were all cleared to be done at this particular store. Now I got to call them back, wait another hour to talk somebody and be told the same thing? This is crazy and HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. If this employee Bryan is incorrect, then he would've wasted one hour of my time to drive to the store, one hour of talking to customer service, and he was simply lazy to do the return himself (there was a line forming behind me). Now I have to repeat this process again and maybe not be able to return this at all? The store also offers novels, children's books, Chinese New Year decor, vases, and small toys, which makes it feel like a cultural space rather than just a bookstore. On top of that, the pricing is very reasonable. I've even found books for as little as $2-4, which makes browsing and discovering new reads even more special. The owners are an older Chinese couple who are quiet, reserved, and genuinely kind. One of the things I cherish most about Soyodo is how peaceful and calm the store is. We saw the life size cardboard cut outs up front and snapped a quick selfie with RM, my ultimate bias! Talk about a score within the first few minutes, so I had a good vibe about this place from the jump! We took a quick lap around the periphery of the store and then worked our way to the middle. There was LOTS to see and the vast majority was official merch! Heck yes! We saw several albums, photo cards, light-sticks, keychains, bracelets, plus more. My girls were having a field day trying to narrow down what they wanted to go home with. I could see the K-Pop happiness in their little faces. There was a Photo Booth area near the front and a table and chairs for peeps to sit while their loved ones looked around the store. I saw a handful of shirts and some signed items. I had to help my girls make final decisions on their items because they were too excited with the overstimulation of K-Pop items. We purchase 8 items total from BTS, BabyMonster and Stray Kids. We walked out with a BTS light stick, some albums, a Stray Kids Karma pop up Seungmin puppy bracelet, a Hyunjin keychain and 6 lomo (business) cards for $253.66. The inside of the store is clean and organized. I came here with an item in mind, but I can see that this place would be fun to shop through even without an agenda. They have some wall space to feature small businesses created goods which was nice to see. I found the item I was looking for quickly and check out can take a little while depending on what the person in front of you is getting. They offer free photocards with purchase so it took a while for the purchase in front of me to select their freebies before I could do my transaction but overall the shopping experience was fine.
