Visionworks - Locked out during posted business hours with no prior notice online or by phone. Stood outside while employees sat inside and ignored.

After choosing a frame, I realized I left my prescription at home. I was provided a business card and email address to send it in. I sent it in that night and called the next morning to double check. (It was New Year's Eve and they were understandably busy.). The manager called me back within an hour to ensure I got my order filled on time.

This location is a complete joke. My husband took time off work, his paid time off, to come during…read moretheir posted business hours... only to find the doors locked and a handwritten sign saying they were "closed for lunch" from 1 to 2pm. Employees were inside, saw him standing there, and chose to ignore him. No one came to the door. No communication. Nothing. There is zero mention anywhere; not on their Google listing, not on their website, not even on their phone system--that they randomly shut down for lunch. That is completely unacceptable. If you're going to routinely close in the middle of the day, post your actual hours like every other professional business does. And what makes this even more infuriating is that this isn't new. I found multiple reviews from months ago saying the exact same thing. Customers locked out during business hours, ignored, and told after the fact that "we'll look into it." It's been half a year and clearly nothing has changed. You're not looking into anything, you're just wasting people's time and hoping no one calls you out. We will never return to this location, and frankly, neither should you. They do not respect your time, and they clearly don't care about fixing their own ongoing issues.

My mother and I have been patients here for several years and have always received excellent care…read morefrom Dr. Bailey. Unfortunately, our most recent experience with the office administration has changed our decision to continue as patients. At my last visit, my prescription changed significantly, and I am now transitioning into progressive lenses for the first time. Because I order my glasses independently, confirming my pupillary distance (PD) is essential. This has never been an issue in the past. After leaving a voicemail with no response, I called again and was eventually transferred to the office, where I spoke with Erin. I was informed that the practice no longer provides PD measurements due to "liability concerns," a policy that was apparently implemented about 1.5 years ago--without notifying patients. This policy effectively prevents patients from ordering glasses elsewhere. I expressed my disappointment and noted that had I known of this policy change, I would have chosen a different provider. Erin initially stated she would "share my concerns in a roundabout way" with management. When I mentioned I would also be completing a survey, she told me there was no need for her to pass along my concerns because management reviews surveys. I made it clear that I still expected my concerns to be communicated directly, as I was speaking with a staff member who had the ability to do so. If you are comfortable purchasing expensive, limited frame options in-office, this may not be an issue for you. However, if you prefer the flexibility to order your own frames and lenses, I recommend looking elsewhere. As a result of this experience, I advised my mother to cancel her upcoming appointment, and we will be transitioning our care to another provider.

Left and went to the desk to get a vague sorry, then got another electronic bill after I paid in office. They lost their best 2 workers , now it's all inexperienced workers.
