I love this staff! I discovered this location nine years ago when I relocated to the Charlotte area because it was then close to my work location. From that point forward, the service has been nothing but outstanding from one year to the next! The staff is always friendly, helpful, timely, and punctual, and always assist me with making the perfect selections for my glasses and contacts. On several occasions when I needed adjustments, I have always been met with an amazing smile, a cheerful attitude and pleasant customer service. I arrived a few minutes early for my son's appointment today. I was told that they had a glitch in their system and had double booked and couldn't see us. I showed them where I had confirmed the appointment via text as well as a separate text from the prior day reminding me of the appointment. I told them I had gone to extreme lengths to get to this appointment and asked that they accommodate me. Dishonest and a nightmare to deal with. Made my glasses incorrectly three times. When I originally made my appointment they said they accepted my insurance but it turns out they didn't and sent me a HUGE bill months later. My husband was supposed to get a free pair of sunglasses when we bought his contact but he never received them. They tacked on all kinds of extras I didn't want. If you buy form them make sure they show you an itemized list of charges. read more

I had visited MyEyeDr in Johnston Rd location during Oct'21 and not satisfied with their service/follow-up's. They placed the order for frame for 3 times (1st time incorrect model, 2nd time incorrect color, 3rd time the frame not available any more) and I have waited for 3 months and no use. 4th time they placed the order and the order at their system shows as delivered but I did not get the frame yet. They are not sure where/how to track the order. Poor staffing and they dont have knowledge on what they are doing. I dont know if I will receive the frame or not. I have made the payment and still wondering when this issue will be resolved. Its been nearly 5 months now. I have been to MyEyeDr in couple of other locations (arrowwood rd, john j delaney dr) and their service is much better. DO NOT recommend this Johnston Rd location at all!! read more

Horrible customer service, had an appointment had to wait 10 minutes after scheduled before being seen. Was quoted $70 for my exam and contact fitting, when I went to pay it was actually $145 cause they said my insurance wouldn't cover a contact lens exam, but why didn't they tell me this before the exam? I typically read Yelp reviews before going to a Doctor or any kind of specialty service but today I was on a mission and didn't have the time. I did not see the eye doctor at this location because I had already had an eye appointment somewhere else, but I went searching a specific kind of sunglasses. I walked in and the ladies were more than happy to help with looking at the sunglasses, even took me outside with 5 or 6 pairs in hand to see what lenses I would like better since I have a bifocal prescription. After picking the frames, lenses, etc we sat down and Taylor pulled up insurance information, etc. the process was simple and painless. I was told they would be in on or before the 7th. I moved to this office because it was closer to my home. I have been using MyEyeDr for years and this office offered exceptional service. I loved the way the Dr took the time to ask questions and answered my questions also. I was not pressured to purchase glasses through them as the Dr said they were out there if I found anything I liked. Their personnel was very professional and knowledgeable. I was fitted with my glasses and was told that they would be in 7-10 days and they were there on the 9th day. Don't go to this place again. Took my daughter for eye exam before she starts school because she was complaining of some watery eyes and pain in her eyes and doctor told me that she has astigmatism and prescribed her eye glasses with specific number. My wife could not believe it since her vision test 6 months back was perfect and she took her to optometrist at Target optical to confirm it and it came out her vision is fine and no glasses are needed. I don't want this to happen to other guys and having their child wear glasses without any reason. read more

The office is clean and airy; the doctor is one of the best I've ever had; and the selection of frames and lenses is great. I have never felt pressure to buy anything here and when I state a budget figure, they don't bat an eye. Each time I've been offered great, affordable alternatives. I had a great experience here. The staff were all very polite, and they took me in before I was even finished with the forms they hand you when you arrive. Dr. Coccia explained more about my eyesight to me than anyone in the past has done, he appears to actually care whether you know what's going on. The sales staff was really nice as well. I was concerned about pricing for contacts because I have to pay out of pocket, and they were kind enough to price match another retailer. absolutely horrible!!! AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE A PLAGUE!!! Told me my glasses would be ready in 7 to 10 days. It's day 13, and they've yet to arrive; they called and said they now could no longer get them in. This is after I prepaid $170 and paid an additional $115 for a contact lens exam that I didn't need but had to go through with so I could see for the 7 to 10 days it took that they were supposed to be making them. The manager says they will refund me by check, but that it will take over a week for the refund to arrive. Horrible company and horrible practice. AVOID!!! read more

I love this location! They are very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. They take time to help you. The eye doctor at this location is very good, and talks you through everything. They offer beverages, and free sunglasses when you buy a year supply of contacts w/ your exam. read more

I was having an issue with my eyes, and found this doctor on my insurance list of providers. They are very close to my office and were able to make a same-day appointment. They accepted both my vision and medical insurance, so the doctor was able to determine which was better to use for my visit. I got good advice from him, as well as an eye exam, and treatment for the issue I was having. The office staff were all friendly and professional. I don't wear glasses or contacts, so I can't speak to the products there. But overall it was a good experience! read more
