Several of us decided to try this place out for lunch. One lady in the group was from Turkey and spoke to the owners fluently. They also spoke English well and were very nice. We tried several items and they were all fabulous !!! You could taste how freshly everything is made. The pizza like item was so crispy yet light. I was able to eat the entire thing ! The beef kofta was so tastey ! The amount they give you is plenty ! The chicken was very moist. The desserts were also very good and made daily. They even have turkish sodas. We finished our meal off with Turkish hot tea. We really enjoyed all the food and drinks. Several in our group also placed orders to go to take home to our families. It was all wonderful! These guys are expert cooks. They knew exactly when to start our takeout orders so that they would be fresh before we even asked ! I brought home the Adana and the lamb was so good ! The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the chairs are not comfortable and they only have one bathroom that men and women have to share. I was searching for a place that sold lahmacun when I stumbled upon Mustafa's Place. It is located in a small strip mall in Harrisburg, very close to University City. The place was clean and the menu was extensive. I enjoyed being able to see the chef prepare our pide from scratch. The lahmacun was delicious and the portions were large. Everything tasted fresh. The place is confusing mess. One sign reflects a pizza joint, the other Mustafa's, neither do they execute well. We visited at lunch, four in our party, over $100 for a basic meal. The interior is nothing outstanding, a hodgepodge of random items, inclusive of bulk storage for their silverware and such, in perfect coughing distance of the diners. First issue, no fountain drinks. Given the texture of the wrap resembled that of a dish towel, a single $3 water doesn't cut it. It's 2024, get a fountain dispenser or don't offer interior dining. Your patron shouldn't be punished for your lack of wanting to invest in your business. Second issue, I first hand witnessed them give one table the wrong food (out of the grand total of three active tables). The diner unwrapped the food, realized it was wrong and let the waiter know. He then took the food, directly from their table and handed to the folks at the next table. Was quite bizarre to be honest. Onto the food, we ordered two "meat lovers" style Stromboli's and two Doner wraps. The Stromboli's, were stuffed with meat, but from what animal I sincerely question. There was a pungent overtone of dirty feet in the flavor, as if something were spoiled or was just gross. The wraps, were theoretically giant, until you realized they were 16" long square pita wraps with 5 ounces of toppings in them. The wraps were so tough that my jaw ached by the end of the experience. The wrap had potential, and it should be 1/2 the size, with a fresh pita, and the same quantities of filling. The fries were good and the place was clean, which is the only reason for the rating. For $25 a head we left annoyed and won't be back. We should have eaten at Whataburger. read more

The Doner plate is a must try. The meat was seasoned so nicely and the portions were perfect. The wings were good, but I wouldn't order them again. The atmosphere and staff were both nice, you order then seat yourself. And there's a halal store next door that was nice to shop around in while we waited for our food. I honestly didn't realize that this location was a takeout only restaurant. That's okay because they still had a lunch special featuring two slices and a drink. That's what I got for a little over six bucks- I got pepperoni added to my cheese pizza. The pizza was pretty good. I am a fan. They have a full pizzeria menu on the wall when you enter. Unfortunately updating my review in a way that I wouldn't thought that was possible. First of all I had an Adana plate, it was served on a paper plate with plastic cutlery. I don't use paper plates or plastic fork and knife at home. It is a sacrilege at a restaurant to pay $20 for a meal and receive it like this. The meat wasn't prepared properly and all the nerves was still on also one of the Adana stick was not fully cooked. They cooked it on wooden sticks which is also unacceptable and I believe the reason why it wasn't cooked well. The only good thing was the rice on that plate but it was not an authentic Turkish rice. There is nothing left at this restaurant authentic. They hiked the prices by twice and dropped the quality by half. Very sad and disappointing!! read more

On my short trip to Charlotte NC I had the pleasure to meet the owner of this amazing restaurant and eat his wonderful food. I was blown away on how fresh and delicious everything tasted. His laughter and personality was so refreshing and welcoming. I so wish I had this establishment near me. Princess are great and atmosphere was awesome as well. I loved the tea after dinner that is served free just like in turkey. I felt right at home and so welcomed. I also observed how welcoming they were to all other guests. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty! The pizza was plentiful with toppings, nice and hot and flavorful. NY style, with a thin crust. My husband said the sub was great, I didn't try it! The garlic knots were soft and not too overpowering. This is in a tiny strip mall on the corner of 49 + Morehead Rd. Don't be afraid, give it a try, especially the pizza! The consummate Pizzeria in the Harrisburg Concord area. I say this based on my upbringing in the New York area and comparing their Pizza to that of my memories in New York. These guys understand what it takes to make a New York Pizza, the crust is flaky thin and succulent, the mozzarella cheese delicious, and the slice sizes is proportionate to it where the New York Pizza is supposed to be. Tried Mustafa's after seeing a post about it in a Facebook Group and am I ever glad I did. I did an online order and received a 10% discount as a first time customer. I ordered a 16" Margherita Pizza and a Doner Wrap. When I walked in I was warmly greeted by Mustafa himself. I told him it was my first time and he gave me a piece of Baklava to try while I was waiting. It was delicious! As I was standing there, I was able to see many different dishes coming out of the kitchen and I wanted them all. The Kebab plates looked and smelled amazing as did the Pide's (I will try both of them next time). My pizza was excellent. The crust was so good and cooked perfectly. The doner wrap was huge and equally as delicious made even better by the 2 homemade sauces served with it. Without a doubt I will return to Mustafa's Place to try more of their amazing food. read more
