But this is a bar and I don't frequent bars, so I get to the bar and look over the alcohol and didn't see "Makers Mark" which is what I wanted. So I ask and sure enough they had a bottle tucked away for a class reunion, which they brought back for me. I ended up ordering three glasses to try and get rid of my pending headache from the music. The bartender was very nice and took great care of me and the other people at the bar. After my three drinks I walked back to my room to attempt to sleep. I will say the place was very clean and worth the visit. I am just not a huge fan of the loud music.

The line from the counter stretched all the way back to the door, which gave us plenty of time to people watch and admire the beautiful space after picking our drinks. The baristas were friendly and welcoming. The line was moving slowly - a combination of people asking questions and an ordering process that seems a little inefficient (we noticed they were tracking available pastries on Post-It notes). Our drinks were available quickly, and they were delightful. I had the spiced orange chai with oatmilk and my husband had a gingerbread latte. My chai was sweeter than I would prefer, but now I know that for next time. Everything in the pastry case looked incredible. We passed this time because we had finished breakfast. I'd be interested in coming back in the evening to try some of the cocktails. I think they have some kinks to work out when they're busy; overall, it was a good experience. The tiramisu was beautiful presented and the cream was fantastic, the lady fingers were over soaked in strong espresso, we couldn't finish that element. The pop tart was lovely. Couldn't tell if the dumps were frozen or homemade but they tasted good, and we loved the carrot salad they came with.
