Pretty solid ramen place in Hoboken. The broth was so flavorful and delicious. The egg was perfectly soft boiled and the chashu was tender.

Delicious Ramen stop for a no-frills, comforting experience. The Bao buns are fire & their ramen is perfectly slurpy goodness. The ambiance is ok & lighting could've been better but food service is quick. This should be the stop for your next craving.

Got the black tonkatsu ramen and it was ok. I think both the noodle and the broth could use some improvement. I prefer the noodle texture to be more chewy, and was hoping that the broth would be more flavorful.

Dining experience was great - you order on your phone and pay on the app as well. The food comes quickly and served to you. My ramen was delicious and the staff was friendly.

Truly one of the most aesthetically pleasing and best priced ramen places I have been too! This spot on Washington St serves up authentic Japanese ramen and bao buns. I ordered the Muteki Ramen and for $18, the bowl was bigger than my head! It was loaded with toppings such as bean sprouts, cabbage, mushrooms, bamboo, scallions, eggs and more. We also ordered the Karaage Chicken Buns and Chasu Pork Buns and they were so delicious - the perfect addition to this amazing comfort meal. The style of this restaurant made me feel like I was back in Japan with the seating arrangement and open kitchen - it was so cool being able to see the cooks preparing the dishes. Truly an amazing find and recommend trying your next night out in Hoboken.

perfect spot to get all warmed up and satisfied especially during these cold winter days! we started off with their takoyakis and cucumber salad and they definitely worked up our appetites! i thoroughly enjoyed the cucumber salad-perfect dressing and very good crunch! All the ramens we ordered had delicious broth, chewy noodles and savory meat! Portions were perfect too. I appreciate the space and that we were comfy enough to bring our baby's stroller in without feeling so tight. Service was timely and efficient too! overall a very good experience!

One good ramen place in Hoboken! Have been here multiple times. Went for my usual vegetarian creamy ramen- loved the texture of broth. Less salt but overall good. The veggie tempura buns were out of the world . Loved the sauce and the crunchy spring onion topping on the tempura. My husband ordered the spicy tonkotsu. It wasn't hot enough and had a bland taste. However, he enjoyed his karage buns! We ordered a lychee sparkling drink- yummy loved it! They are a byob place and their service has always been impeccable. Will definitely go here again just for my veggie ramen.

Pretty bad broth. The ambiance and service were great, the food was just not good. I got the Muteki Ramen and it was really bad. Noodles were good, but that was some very unbalanced broth. Out of respect, I try to finish what I order, but this was one really bad bowl. The garnishes were good too, but bad broth = bad ramen. It's my first time leaving a ramen place without finishing from flavor alone.

Cozy little spot on Washington. It was a freezing cold day and a hot steamy bowl of delicious ramen was just what we needed to nourish our body and mind. There are many restaurants and Asian dining selections in town, but this place got exceptional ratings for their ramen. It did not disappoint in the quality and creativity with their selections. Service was prompt and friendly.

I really like this place. I went here yesterday and I like the aesthetic. They have great customer service and food.

Always very quick with their service Food is always tasty Tempura buns were a lot better this go around. Shio koji chicken (not pictured) was a couple pieces of chicken breast smothered in sauce. While they were very tender, I am not sure I would order again. Thai green curry ramen was delightful and would definitely order again.

4.5* Wanted ramen on a cold night and this was one of the options! Partner and I walked in and there were only 2 groups. As the night went on it definitely got more crowded and there's not too much seating so I think there ended up being a bit of a wait. Started out with ordering the chicken karage which was alright! Not the best thing ever, but tasted decent. Then I ordered the kimchi ramen which was AMAZING. Super rich broth & the pork was super good. Noodles were a bit thinner than I'm used to but still tasted good. Great and hearty and so yummy. Loved their ramen! Definitely would be back to try more of their menu. Definitely a great spot to check out!

.Came in town from LA and love ramen so of course I had to find ramen while on vacation. Cute Ramen place in Hoboken with good service, kind staff and yummy food. Close walking distance to lots of shops Love the flavor of the broth and meat. I love noodles and thought the portion of noodles was perfect with option to pick thin or thick. Goyza was super delicious too. Not many people on a Monday night at the time we went but steady flow of people coming in for their to go orders! Would definitely come back if I'm in town.

Do you guys have a high chair for a toddler? Kid friendly?

Yes. We have high chairs for children.

Hi! Do you guys have gluten free noodles for the Ramen? :)

Sorry, we don't sell gluten free ramen.

Are you able to customize the ramen? For example I would like vegetable broth but remove the zucchini etc and add seafood to it, can I do that?

Hi Nickie. Yes, you can definitely ask us to remove something you don’t like, and add additional items to the ramen. Additional charges might be applied if you’re adding additional items such as adding seafood etc.

Will you guys be open on Labor day?

    Yes Regular hours .

Do they take reservations? Or we can do walk in?

No. They doesn't take reservations. First come first serve policy

The meat had a lot of the fatty bits attached to it and the broth felt a little bit too dense and almost had this gummy feeling to it. I couldn't really taste the black garlic flavor unfortunately as well. I will say that their soft boiled egg was probably the most well done I've had out of any ramen eggs I've had in New York as the egg yolk was perfectly runny alongside the very soft egg whites. Not sure if I would come back again due to the flavor of the ramen but the staff was absolutely wonderful!

I had been going there for over 10 years, since they were in the East Village, so this was really disappointing. Also, be aware that there is barely any cell signal inside the restaurant. Asked up front if we had a reservation, which we didn't, but were still seated immediately at their "bar seating" which was really quite cozy and perfect for our group of 3. The aesthetic here is clean and minimalistic, which I loved, right down to the menu itself. Normally my go-to is tonkatsu ramen, but this isn't the place for that, so we all opted for the New Tokyo Style Shoyu. I loved that you get both chicken and chashu slices together. This ramen was simplicity done well, clean flavor, and I even polished off the broth. It was also somehow my friend's first time having real authentic Japanese ramen in a restaurant (and not grabbed from the package in the bodega) and now he may have a new addiction. Also, if you come here, GET THE PORK BUNS. I have not experienced pork buns this delicious since my first time having Ippudo's. After the first bite, we ALL knew they were worth every penny. My first-time-ramen-eating friend ordered THREE sets. Once again, these buns were simplicity PACKED with flavor: pillowy soft dough clouds of wonder folded over juicy, tender EXTREMELY well-seasoned pork strips in a heavenly sauce and two extremely thin cucumber slices (which I pulled off). No extra lettuce or whatever they normally put on pork buns. Even the waitress had to comment "Your friend loves the pork buns". His face held a look of ecstasy with each bite. I warned him that he will encounter a ton of Japanese restaurants sporting pork buns on the menu: they will not be this good. The Karaage Chicken Rice also deserves an honorable mention. Perfectly crispy outside juicy inside bite-sized chicken pieces atop a small bed of fluffy white rice with some kind of spicy mayo drizzle and a tiny sprinkle of scallions. Smaller portion than expected, but a tiny bowl of happiness. Waitstaff was overattentive almost, but friendly. Only adding plum wine to the menu could elevate the experience here. DEFINITELY recommend you drop in if you're thinking about it.

I won't comment on its "authenticity" because I haven't been to Japan, but it was definitely way better than other ramen shops I've been to. The space itself is small and narrow; a standard ramen bar vibe with stools at the bar and at the scattered tables. My friend and I decided to split the tsukemono appetizer to start. Their pickles were delicious, and came in three different varieties. We had lightly pickled Napa cabbage with some red chili, shibazuke which was a dark and acidic purple eggplant pickled with perilla leaves, and my favorite- sweet pickled scallion bulbs. All of these worked perfectly as a palate cleanser and fresh crunchy accompaniment to the rich soup we ordered. I got the shoyu signature ramen with pork, it had chicken broth, ground pork, char siu, scallions, seaweed, and additional pork back fat. I think I missed the pork fat when I read it on the menu, and wouldn't have ordered it if I'd known how rich it was. Definitely something to get if you like really rich and decadent ramen but not for me, I couldn't finish it and didn't drink any of the broth because of how much fat congealed on the top. So anyway, apart from that I would consider going back, just will get something else if I do!

This one is located in NYC Manhattan 36th street. It's not very noticeable but has large door with its name on it. Inside is small space with bar counter, table and seats and kitchen at the end with dim lighting with pop music. We made a reservation but looks was it wasn't too busy since it had just opened at 11:45am. We were quickly sat down and looked through the menu with scan code. They offer variety of Japanese and fusion dish like tebasaki chicken wings, buns, rice ball, and few noodle dish like hiyashi chuuka cold noodle, ramen, tsukemen, and mazemen. We ordered few appetizers like chashu rice ball, mushroom buns, and i got spicy tan tan ramen and my partner got the miso ginger ramen. Chashu rice ball came with chashu, sauce, rice wrapped with nori. It's more like a sushi roll than a rice ball but it was ok. The pork was a bit dry and was messy to eat. Although it has omikuji/fortune slip inside that you pull out which is a unexpected fun addition to the dish. I ended up getting daikichi which means great luck. Mushroom buns were fluffy, flavorful and tasty despite vegetarian option. The spicy tan ramen was spicy, creamy and savory. The ramen came with half egg, few slices of chashu, menma, ground pork with spicy miso which you mix together. The broth is combination of rich, spicy and creamy and pretty strong sesame flavor. Noodles are thicker and chewer than what i'm used to. Chashu was nice and tender. menma was ok not very flavorful. Overall a solid ramen but not particularly special. I honestly prefer ichiran better. Service was good and staffs were attentive Overall a good experience but it didn't stand out enough for me to come back. Cool place and maybe nice for dates or if you want to drink as well. Price is definitely on the higher side for ramen. I've had ramen in Japan and my standard is high but i can find similar type of restaurant that is cheaper closer to home in US.
