I wanted to do an update since it's been over 5 years since my initial review. I think what I love overall about this little hole in the wall is the crispy crust their pizzas consistently have. To me there's nothing worse than a soggy crust, but you won't find that here. We ordered the Mediterranean pizza, and it was good. I feel like if it had had mozzarella cheese as well as the feta it would have been incredible. I also feel that their draft beers are too expensive. I paid almost 10 bucks for one beer.. bro... come on now. If it had been like a local craft beer ok, but blue moon? On the upside, service couldn't have been better. We were a large party, and our waitress could not have been more attentive. Overall, good food, cute and clean inside, great service, but more expensive than your average Italian place. read more

I didn't know what to expect dining in here and I was pleasantly surprised on how good the food and service was. I dined here on a Saturday evening and was sat near the back. There were several tables inside and a few tvs showing different sporting events. It looked like this restaurant does a lot of to-go orders based on the amount of people that came in to pick up food. The food was fantastic! We started with bruschetta and it was so fresh. The garlic knots are light and fluffy. I ordered baked ziti. I especially liked that all the pasta is made to order so you can choose which type of sauce and the type of pasta you like. My baked ziti was really amazing. It definitely fulfilled my pasta craving. I also had lots of leftovers to eat the next day for dinner! My friend ordered the chicken parmigiana and loved it. Nancy was our server and was awesome. Muzzarella is a cute little Italian place right across the street from Fl East Hospital. We were seated when we walked in and the staff were attentive and friendly. While we were looking over the menu we received 2 garlic knots that were really good. We also ordered Mozzarella sticks, they were hot and delicious. My husband and I decided to share the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken had really good seasoning and the Alfredo sauce was freshly made. They did charge us $2 for sharing but I think that was fair considering all the food we received. read more

Muzzarella is hands down one of my favorite restaurants, and I eat here all the time for a reason. It's consistently amazing. Their pizza is some of the best I've had, but what really keeps me coming back is their Muzzarella Chicken. I'm completely obsessed with it. It's a perfectly cooked chicken topped with eggplant, tomatoes, melted mozzarella, and finished with a balsamic-style sauce. It is incredible and honestly one of the best dishes I've ever had. Beyond that, their wings are amazing, their pasta is always cooked perfectly, and their vodka sauce is absolutely delicious. I've tried several different pastas here and have never been disappointed. I love this place, so please don't come here or I'll never get in again without a long, wait! This was my first time visiting Muzzarella. Service was outstanding, by ? Nancy (if I am remembering her name correctly). The menu is classic New York-style Italian and quite extensive. The waitress gave excellent information and suggestions. I had two slices of pizza, Diet Coke, a slice of New York cheesecake, and a cannoli. Everything was perfect. The dining room was clean as was the men's room. We used to love Muzzarella's. Got a delivery tonight (it's been awhile) and the portions have been reduced (for example- chicken francese used to have 3 pieces of chicken). Tonight there were 2. Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. Less pasta than it used to be. We always got bread with our food. No bread this time. Was it a one off? I don't know. I guess I'll find out if we order again. It was a Tuesday evening and my daughter's family and my son's family all gathered at my son's house. A discussion and sued about dinner and we decided to order from Mazzarelli. We ordered a large mushroom and pepperoni pizza as well as a cheese pizza a sausage Stromboli and a meat Stromboli. Rather than wait, we called the order in and we picked it up. It took a minute for them to finish up when we got there, but everything was piping hot upon returning to the house. Everybody dug in the pizza was really delicious and full of toppings as well as really melted stretchy cheese and just enough sauce. The meat strong boy was going in no time by my son-in-law. The sausage Stromboli, however, was not my favorite. I did not care for the sausage. I have eaten here before in the restaurant rather than takeout and enjoyed both pasta and the Barada. They are friendly. The restaurant is always clean and they bend over backwards to do their best to please you. The prices are reasonable with today's food prices. We used to order from Italian village across the street super often, then I believe they got new owners and the taste and quality went way down but then we found Muzzarella!! Omg everything is SO good. The pizza, the baked ziti, the garlic knots, the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken!! To die for! Went for late lunch with family. The place was just finishing up the lunch rich. Well lit dining area held about 8/9 tables. We were greeted fairly promptly, the sole server was engaged with a table of diners. We explored the menu, asked questions. The server was very helpful. When the entree and slices arrived for my family, I should have encouraged them to eat. The server forgot my order. I waited additional cook time for my Stromboli. Their slices were soggy by the time they started eating. Of The Muzzarella Combo they liked the stuffed shells the best. The chicken, broccoli and mushroom Stromboli that arrived for me was delightful! Light crust, fresh ingredients! Broccoli was perfect. Server apologized for the delay and offered me dessert. To update: Returned to try a few other classics - calimari and tiramisu. Overall this restaurant has a solid menu and is worth a try if you're seeking some Italian flavors in the neighborhood and not wanting to travel to downtown area. The calimari was nicely fried-I ordered it with the marinara and would recommend. Tiramisu was alright. It's easy to mess up tiramisu and fortunately the taste was on the more flavorful side despite being partially frozen. What was kind of strange however was that it came in a small individual container so it seemed more like a parfait style vs cake (if that makes sense). Being on the small side, I feel it was not worth the price ($7+). Be advised, unfortunately there are added fees for not using cash. read more

This review is going to be heavily based on the carryout style quick service Italian food it is. We ate there, cute location very clean, however the seating was a bit tight. The hostess met us at the door and had us seated right away. Once seated, we were brought menues, garlic knots and our drink order was taken. The food was well spaced out and served hot. Garlic Knots- The knots were good, fresh, not overly greasy. These definitely are not the yeasty style you find at some places. I could have used a bit more garlic, but they're probably playing to the masses. Burrata- I've had many Burrata, but I can't say I've ever had one hand breaded and deep-fried. The breading was light and well seasoned. This made the burratta kind of pop when cut into and was really tasty warmed. The marinara served with it was hot and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. The marinara is kind of sweet for what I normally prefer, but it with the balsamic glaze was a good pairing. It is served with two small slices of bread. However, I feel like they should add a couple more to make sure you have enough for the entire Burratta. Cesar Salad- this salad came with the entrée I ordered, so I'm not going to be hyper critical. But the dressing was on the side, and I prefer Cesars tossed. The lettuce was crisp and fresh tasting, and the croutons weren't as hard as rocks. Made for a good salad. Chicken Parm- This was my main meal, a single pounded out chicken cutlet hand battered and lightly fried in what I imagine is the same breading as the Burratta. The marinara once again was sweet for my personal preference, but overall, the meal was good. I wouldn't mind a second cutlet for an entrée, but I would say it was still a good value. read more

Ordered takeout Eggplant Parmigiana on a cold workday for lunch which comes with a side salad. The dish was huge with half the container filled with the hot, fresh, still crispy, not soggy, parmigiana lasagna. They also had the red pepper flakes for me on the side as requested which was a major key to my enjoyment. The marinara sauce was hefty and not too acidic.
