Lots of seating offered and pizza's came out quick! We tried the BBQ Chicken pizza and it was very cheesy, I wish I could taste the BBQ sauce a bit more. We also tried the Motown supreme pizza which was delicious, it had lots of flavor. We each got through about two pieces and felt so full. One of the best pizza places in Orlando! Omg! So many different Detroit pizzas flavors! I came with a few of my girl friends! They never came and were excited to try out a new pizza place. So I ordered a DETROIT ROB CITY, my other friends ordered a cheese, one build your own and the other just had a salad. Everyone however was very satisfied with their order. The pillowy dough of the pizzas is very satisfying and comforting. You juat know that when your pizza is placed on the table you know you are going to eat well. And if course we shared a piece of our pizzas with eachother. And since it was their first time there they were excited to try several different pizzas on their first visit. Sharing makes a difference. You have an idea of what you might want to order next. I like to think of it as a sampling feast. you also get to know wjat you are not to crazy about about. I'm so happy that we have a SoDough Square location in East Orlando now!! Their pizza is so good, and this location isn't as busy as their Winter Park one. Their pizza is so delicious, and if you are a fan of square pizza with crispy edges you'll be obsessed. Some of my favorite menu items are the cheesy garlic bread, Margherita pizza, Greektown pizza, and 6 & Conant pizza. I have never met anybody who has disliked their order, so you can't go wrong with anything from the menu. I've been to the downtown location many times and am very excited to have a SoDough square closer to me. The pizza is equally fantastic. It's not as busy at this location, so the wait is a little shorter than what I have had at the other location. There is minimal interaction with the staff as you will order from a kiosk, but the interactions I have had have always been positive. I love the thicker crust and the perfect cheese to bread to topping ratio in every bite. Add the whipped ricotta to any pizza you order, you won't regret it. read more

I tried this place for lunch one day. The pictures online looked good so I had to give it a try. It was a smaller spot but had plenty of seats when I walked in. You order on a screen and the food comes out to your table when ready. It was a convenient way to order. I ordered one of their personal pizza which comes with 4 big slices. SoDough Square is a restaurant that is quickly expanding throughout the Orlando, Florida area and this particular location has opened up in a shopping plaza just outside of the University of Central Florida (UCF). SoDough Square specializes in Detroit style pizza. So, what makes Detroit style pizza different from other pizza styles. Well, Detroit style pizza is a pan pizza with a thick crust. The pans traditionally used were used in the automotive industry as drip pand in their auto planys,but they were also discovered to be a great pizza pan, as well. I went with a small Detroit Rob City, which was topped with dollops of whipped ricotta cheese, pinched sausage, ezzo cup pepperoni, and hot honey. Be advised that you cannot call and order a pizza to go, but you can order online. It is also cashless. Despite the online ordering and all, I have to say that I thought the pizza was definitely a culinary treat and I would recommend going to either this location or any of their three Orlando area locations. First time we tried SoDough was at the Winter Park location and we loved it! We found out they opened up a UCF location and we had to try it out. The pizza and cheesy garlic bread are DELICIOUS! The right amount of crunch and cheese. And when it comes to the dough it may be the best I've ever had. The location is super nice right by UCF. It's super clean inside and a good size, with dining inside and some tables outside. We of course had left overs and even eating it the next day it was sooo good. I went on a Wednesday early evening with my friend. We arrived around 6ish and were the only ones. We were greeted and told to order via the kiosk. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza (16 dollars) and my friend had the Detroit rob city (16 dollars), both small sized. We paid through the kiosk, took numbers, sat on a small table, and waited. The pizza was made fresh from the oven, so it took a bit of time. When it arrived, it looked fresh and nice! My BBQ pizza was thick and had breaded chicken, bacon, onion, and hint of garlic. The chicken was ample and flavorful with the BBQ sauce. The small size had 4 pieces, which was still filling after eating 2. I liked my friend's Detroit rob city pizza more, which had pepperoni and sausage, as well as basil and ricotta. The honey drizzle and red sauce added a nice flavor too. It was also filling after a piece. After eating three pieces total, I was definitely satisfied. My friend enjoyed one of my chicken pizza too, so I was able to save one piece to take home. The service was helpful in suggesting what pizza to order, and delivering the food and utensils. They also took away the remaining items from the table. So the counter service was just for ordering and grabbing drinks. The dining area was small, but it was no big deal as there was not many people (if any) anyways. The music was just a mix of rock and easy listening. For the UCF area, Sodough Square is a bit expensive, but still serves a pretty good pizza and is filling too. This is located at the University Commons complex, which also houses Moe's, an Indian restaurant, and even a dollar store. This new pizza chain is a welcome addition to the Orlando area. There are other locations as well, so I would visit again with friends for a nice individual pizza to share with friends. read more

We decided to try this place as my wife heard great reviews about it. We are usually Blaze Pizza customers, but I said what the hell why not. The selections of premade pizzas were not your typical pizza place and that's probably what the college community is looking for. Unfortunately, I really didn't like the selections premade and the build your own base price and topping add-ons would be very expensive in my opinion. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, clean and the hand-painted mirror is gorgeous. The crust of the pizza was delicious and extremely crispy which is what I was hoping for. However, the pizza toppings themselves turned out to be very greasy. There was far too much cheese incorporated on the top, which made it feel extremely heavy and over calorie laden. For me, this would be my last go of this place. It does look delicious. Just be ready for a calorie bomb, and 24 hours on a treadmill or elliptical to burn off the guilt. read more

We ordered a small Detroit Rob city pizza with no sausage. The pizza comes with whipped ricotta, red sauce, pepperoni, hot honey, and basil. We thought it was ok. Nothing to rave about. Not sure if the sausage gives it a better flavor or not. I did like the whipped ricotta on it. The Cesar salad was delicious. The croutons are home made and the dressing is good. Checked out the new SoDough Square location near UCF and it's just as good as the first 2! I can't believe they already have 3 locations with a 4th on the way (in Lake Mary) -- How lucky are we?! SoDough Square has quickly become one of my favorite pizza places in Orlando. Can't get enough of those crispy edges. It's so filling and I can always get multiple meals out of one pizza, so I feel like I definitely get my money's worth. My go-tos are the Detroit cheesy garlic bread, the #24 Enforcer, and their signature Detroit Rob City. I also fell in love with their Sweet Sting pizza (pepperoni, fresh jalapeños, and hot honey) and their crispy fried wings after experiencing them at our Yelp event earlier this year... WOW! You can also order for delivery through UberEats which my husband & I do fairly often. It makes for the best leftovers in the air fryer the next day! Placed our order at the kiosk and had to wait about 15-20 minutes for our order but it was evident they had a lot of online orders to take care of as we saw numerous people coming in to pick up orders. Pizza and garlic bread are always exceptionally tasty - the best Detroit style pizza I've ever had. It was kinda warm in there today but it's always clean and the employees were very friendly. If I were a secret shopper, the staff at this restaurant would be in big trouble. We walked in and there were 2 other guests eating pizza. They didn't even look up at us. No one was behind the counter nor did it appear that there was anyone in the kitchen. You order through a screen at the front. We had never been there before and did our best navigating the menu and guessing what may be good and how much to order to accommodate our party. Just as we finished placing our order via the computer screen, one of the other customers walked behind the counter and asked if we had any questions. I guess she worked there. The pizza was actually very good. The crust was very crispy and light for square pizza. It had ample fresh toppings. I understand that this is a College but this store needs some better management and employee training. Staff like the ones who were working that day can kill a business. I was looking for the perfect pie. I searched best pizza and found SoDough. I went today during their soft launch. No sign yet but it's a few doors down from Dollar Tree near corporate drive entrance. I got the Detroit Rob City minus the hot honey and sausage. Now I know why people speak highly of the Detroit Rob City pie. I think the flavor and quality ingredients match the visuals. They post on IG with some great previews of what they offer. This place is awesome. Staff seems to be doing their best and they appear to be under decent management including the guy who took my order. I think I met one of the owners. I was really excited for this location to open as the other two locations are not close to me. I ordered the Small Five Cheese Bianca, and it was delicious and re-heated well. But the services I received was not great. I was not greeted, and I had to get the employees attention to let them know I was there for an online pick-up. I told the employee I was early for my pick-up time, but they never asked me my name. Turns out my pizza was already ready, and they let me sit there for 30 minutes before someone asked me my name. The store was clean except for behind the counter; there were so many boxes one of the employees almost fell... Interesting I learned about this place from the kids at work. Their lunch revealed a wonderful sexy square pizza that I had to try that evening. As we all know, new startup restaurants around UCF are largely scrutinized by ethnic foods, cost than flavor. After talking with the GM, him explaining the company's development during covid times was interesting and inspiring. As SoDough is in its early stages, I believe the overall approach to its pizza concept is definitely creative while offering to your palettes desires. Having somewhat of a sensitive stomach at 62 I had to give it a go anyways... To be fair I only ordered a pepperoni pizza as a simple baseline. To my surprise it was good as it looked and tasted. The only thing I would offer is to reduce the acid content in the red sauce as this can be overpowering and slightly bitter masking the true intended flavor profile. What makes a true pizza is the crust and sauce, let's not forget the purveyors too! I think the potential of being great with slight refinements is there. I hope and wish to your success.
