I used to go to Anthony's quite a bit - it was THE best pizza (and everything else) around. . . Unfortunately, I moved so it was a bit out of the way. I'm so disenchanted with most pizza places since I compare everything to the Original Anthony's NY Pizza - and nothing, and I mean NOTHING, compares. I've been thinking about Anthony's a lot and yesterday while i was out and within 10 miles, I decided to pick up a pizza mid afternoon for dinner that evening since I was embarking on a 5-day fast the next day. I got that bad boy home smelling the fresh garlic all the way and was so hopeful I wouldn't be disappointed. I swear it was better than I expected and hoped. While i was going to ask for extra garlic but did not and it was actually a perfect amount. The onion, mushrooms, and half pepperoni were perfect - excellent products used still. I will not wait this long to return since i couldn't have been more happy with this pizza - it's worth the drive without a question. Second visit here and I was really hungry when I arrived so I ordered the Extravaganza slice and asked to keep the menu because I might want more food. That was unnecessary. I have been visiting Anthony's for years and it never disappoints. I stopped in recently for a quick bite as I haven't been in a while and was pleased with my meal. I ordered the $4.99 pizza and salad special and added an additional slice as I was hungry. To my surprise the slices were large enough to where I would have been satisfied with one. The pizza was flavorful and the salad was fresh. The service and atmosphere is consistent with what you would expect from a pizza joint. I highly recommend Anthony's for great food. read more

Everything tastes really good. Not sure what happened to the middle of my pie where it looks like they sprinkled a little mozzarella on the the top to cover up something. This place is a staple to community for a good reason whether it's Uber eats, call in for pick up or walk in to have a seat and eat, you are treated with the best customer service around. The food is always fresh and even the slices that are sold are rotated so that you're not getting a slice of a pizza that was made five hours ago. For some good ole Florida pizza, I think the place would be a great choice for any family to come a visit. This small shop upheld all great food standards with kind service, attentiveness, and flavor within our experience there. I've lived in walking distance of the pizza spot for almost 4 years. I think I got take out here once for a party, but this is my first time sitting down to dine. It's typical to most pizza spots. A few tables, a large to go area, the shakers of Parmesan cheese on every table. It's nice and cozy, nostalgic. The service was really good. The waitress was very friendly and polite. The pizza was really good and nice and greasy and cheesy, as it should be! We also got pasta soup, which was extremely hard and flavorful ! This is one of the best soup I've ever had! When we arrived, it was fairly empty since it was after the holiday so we received quick service from Maria (who was wonderful, by the way). It was fairly quiet and the place was clean. I was happy to find out they have gluten-free pizza available but was thoroughly disappointed that they wanted to charge $23 for a 12" pie! I recognize that getting a gluten free pizza usually cost a bit more than the regular pizza (usually $2 - $3 more) but an approximately 43% more is outrageous! My wife decided to try the Greek salad with grilled chicken and I order 2 slices one being pepperoni and mushrooms. Even though they didn't have Greek dressing for their Greek salad, my wife opted for the creamy Italian which was pretty good. I also ordered a side of French fries which was wonderfully cooked fresh and crispy with the right amount of seasoning! I have been to this place several times before and loved the pizza here. Both with a whole pie as well as individual slices. I wish I could the same this time around. It seems that the mushroom and mozzarella cheese was thrown on the slice and was put in the oven long enough for the cheese to barely melt! The taste was meh but at least it wasn't greasy. To call this NY pizza is wild. Dominos is fine dinning compared to this. It was so soggy. I Picked up a slice in the car and all the toppings fell off. I ate it because I just moved and have no groceries. My drive home was 10 minutes and by minute 4 you could feel the bottom of the box was wet. The sauce was runny, the vegetables were HUGE and RAW. visited today after many months. The salad lettuce was brown and they only give you a small amount of salad dressing. I have to asked the waitress for more blue cheese dressing. My daughter ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce and it was bland and no flavor. unfortunately there was no meat in that sauce. I asked the waitress where was the meat in that sauce and her answer was " it is emulsified sauce". So if you want to eat a weird concoction of emulsified meat sauce then this is your place.
