Staff was helpful and friendly when we went in to have my daughter's iPhone repaired. Service was quick, less than an hour, and the broken screen was fixed like it came from the factory. I brought the phone back in because the screen cracked internally and went black. They told me that I need to pay another $190. I brought it into another place and they didn't put a adhesive from the screen to the phone. We were traveling from out of town when my hubby dropped his iPhone 6 Plus. The phone was in really bad condition. He dropped it so many times I'm surprised it even lasted this long. The repairman was straight up with him and said that it may not be repairable at all because the metal frame was super bent on the corners. He was able to wrinkle them out and get the new screen evenly flushed with the phone. For about $20 less than the closest quote, and after contacting a few other repair shops, one hour later, his phone was repaired and it was as good as new. They even threw on a nice screen cover for no charge, when the original screen didn't even have one. Plus, they're conveniently located near the PDX airport! But other reviews said that they called costumers back to pick up their phones but I never got a call when my phone was ready. My phone fell out of my car when I opened the door so I came back to the same place because I needed my phone fixed ASAP as it was the closest one to me and I've been expecting a call from my doctor. I dropped my phone off at 1:30 and was told that my phone would be ready for pickup at 3:30 and added my fathers number on their paperwork so they could get ahold of me if anything and signed. I come back two hours later with my screen not fixed because he couldn't undo the screw the man told me he could try unscrewing it but I would have to leave my phone overnight which wasn't an option for me. And you literally admitted that there's no way of opening it other than using a drill! I asked him why didn't you call the number that I left so I didn't waste two hours of my time when I could've went somewhere else to fix it instead! He said he was "too busy." That man yelled at me, cussed me out, and threw things while OTHER CUSTOMERS were sitting in the shop. He couldn't even guarantee anything. He would meet my worry with a mocking tone. I recently shattered my iPhone screen and called this place, and one other to compare prices. This store seemed to offer a higher quality screen for $50 less than their competitor, so I dropped my phone off this afternoon. I went back in about an hour and it was fixed. Believe it was $102 after tax to fix my iPhone 8 Plus. The man that helped me was kind, and there was no additional damage to my phone, nor did anything go wrong, so I was very thankful for that. Avoid like the plague! Store on Chaklov in Vancouver, WA replaced my cracked iphone 6s glass yesterday. Within an hour I called and let them know the top half of the touchscreen was seriously malfunctioning. They said to bring it right back in and they would fix it. Later that night, a red vertical line would sometimes flash on the screen, clearly malfunctioning. Next morning, I bring it in. Nick at the front counter used the phone and said it was fine. It was working better but I watched him have to tap 3-4 times on some items in the top half of the screen. I reminded him that the phone had been at times unusable and the problems were intermittent but severe. It's pretty obvious they simply installed a defective screen. It happens. I asked Nick to simply swap in a different one. He refused unless I did a full factory reset and could then show him a problem. He also asserted their 'waiver' in case they break the phone during repair. I already paid and have nothing to gain by lying. The phone isn't damaged. Not looking for a new phone or even a refund. Just pop in a new screen and believe the customer that the part is seriously defective. read more

This is a great place to go if you want to throw away $100. I got a new screen on my phone here a few weeks ago. Two days later, the "home" button on the bottom front of the phone fell off. I went in again and got that repaired. I also noticed that the headphone jack didn't work anymore. Fast forward a few weeks. Suddenly, my phone just stops working completely. I took it to iDope on Hawthorne and the technician there told me that the screen I previously got was fake and ill fitting. I really wanted to like these guys and recommend the "local guys" rather than the Apple Store itself. But... I brought my kid's IPod touch in for a screen repair, and when I got it back, the forward-facing camera was broken! When I took it back in right away to have them fix it, they said there was nothing they could do about it. Sorry. They said it must have been broken before bringing it in. It was most certainly NOT broken, as the screen itself had been broken for 2 months and my son used the camera during that entire time. It absolutely had to do with the repair. They did say they would swap it out for a 16GB IPhone 4S, but considering this was a brand new 32GB IPod 5, this didn't really seem like a fair trade. I asked for a refund of the repair cost, so at least we could use that towards a new IPod, but they said no. So now I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and am hoping to resolve it that way. If you are looking for a cracked screen repair, I would recommend taking it to the Apple Store directly. I wish I would have! It would have cost my $50 more, but they swap out the entire device and just give you a brand new one. Better to pay the extra than risk a sloppy repair job. read more

A few days later I had to bring my iPhone back because the screen started to come unglued. They fixed it immediately without any charge. I would say if you are getting your screen fixed just drop the phone off and come back 4hrs later and I am positive you won't have any issues. The next day I dropped it off during my lunch break and they said it would be about an hour. I told them that I was on my lunch break and just asked if there was any way if it would be done sooner. Honestly, this is the third time I have gone to this place and I always want to keep giving it a try and give them a chance to do a great job, but every time I get the screen fixed there, the screen lifts up and then my devices become defective. I've had two iPhones with this issue, and I try taking it to Apple for them to fix correctly but they wouldn't touch it because if you take your phone to get repaired at a place other than Apple, they don't want to be responsible for it and they won't even work on it. And now I just had my iPad screen lift up and it hasn't even been 24 hours that I've had it back.... mind you, I haven't even used it in the 24 hours that I have had it back. I'm taking it back to get fixed, and I am never going there again. I went in to My Broken Phone because my fiances iPhone 5 wasn't charging. We tried several charging cords and none of them worked. I assumed it was a faulty charging port. We went in and the guy said that he would take a look at it and if it needed a new port he would change it. We came back and were happily surprised when he told us that it was just the cable.
