Dr. Jung and his staff definitely made each of my visits a great one. Learned more from him than I learned from any other dental clinic I've been too and I'm grateful to have came across this place. I was going to one of my friend's mothers clinic before, but the drive was pretty far from where I live. Even then, my visits here are a lot better than my visits anywhere else. Reason for my visit was because my mouth was in a lot of pain due to a leakage in my filling, which was a temporary fix for my cavity that needed a root canal done. They let me know in great details on what was going on to where I was basically able to understand it in black and white. They also worked with me and my insurance so that I can pay the least amount possible out of pocket. I've honestly had other places that tried to cheat me by saying my insurance only covered "X" amount, but I was skeptical and would call my insurance and found out the that they covered more, but Dr. Jung really went over everything with me and scheduled my appointments around this year and next year since my benefit gets replenished end of year. First and foremost, let me THANK THE ENTIRE STAFF @ this Dental office. I was in horrific (Cheryl-wife) pain due to my wisdom tooth. I went to an emergency dental on Sunday 2/2/2020 and they gave me some antibiotics and ibuprofen. To say the least, I did not have a good experience at that location. Thursday 2/6/2020 came around and I was dying at work. I called the office and got to speak to Tomi (Lord I hope I spelled that right). I told her my issues, and she got me in the same day at 2pm. This place is great! I came for a routine check up and everything went smoothly. The person I spoke to on the phone was friendly and got my insurance information so it was all ready before I arrived. After filling out paperwork, I was seen immediately and had my x-rays taken. The cleaning went well without much pain or irritation. Dr. Jung was easy to talk to about any concerns I had about my teeth. The whole process, from checking in to setting my next appointment, took almost an hour. I've been seeing Dr Jung and his staff for about a year and a half now. I've had trouble finding good dental care since moving to the area a few years ago. Dr. Jung is really kind, caring and warm; his friendly manner helps you feel really comfortable. More importantly though, he is very patient in explaining his recommendations and answering questions to the best of his ability. I really felt like he was advocating for the health of my teeth and my overall comfort. I've gotten deep cleanings, a root canal on a very challenging tooth, and started Invisalign with him. I trust that under the care of him and his staff I'll be pain free and be able to better manage my teeth grinding. His front office and dental staff are all great and very welcoming. I've had my fair share of bad dentists through out the years but I am glad to say that this is no longer the case! Dr. Jung and his staff (Tomi & Stephany) are all so kind and great at what they do. I have sensitive teeth and at my prior dentist, they would man-handle me during teeth cleanings and I was actually told to stop "faking my pain" as the cold water hit those sensitive spots. Here at Dr. Jung's office, he actually takes his time to ensure I wasn't in any pain and would always tell me what he was going to do next so that there were no surprises. He actually even apologized in advance if he knew it would hurt. I also got a few fills and was actually surprised at how great Dr. Jung was at doing numb shots. I barely even felt it! I got my first wisdom tooth removed as well as the deep clean performed here, and my experience was beyond satisfied. Dr. Jung and the staff were friendly, patient-oriented, and did take their time to ensure that I felt comfortable during the processes. I had a deep cleaning before at a different practice, and it was horrible. However, the deep cleaning at My Dentist was nothing but a smooth, (almost) painless procedure. My wisdom tooth removal was the same. Dr. Jung really took his time to remove the oddly positioned tooth, which was located near my nerve (hence, causing severe pain). read more

First off, let me just say that I really like this location, the dentist, and the staff. They are extremely friendly, nice and personable. I'm very nervous about new dentists because I had bad experiences as a kid/teen but Dr. Jung does a really good job and he is very careful which I appreciate. However, I have to knock off two stars because three out of the four times I've come in for cleanings, I have had billing issues. During my first visit, I was overcharged $34.50 for fillings after insurance coverage. I called them and it took some going back and forth but they found the discrepancy and told me they could add the credit to my file. I asked for a refund; the check was somehow returned to them so I had to go pick it up. Upon pickup, I saw that the address was written correctly so I'm not sure why the post office rejected the mailing. No payment was due during my second visit because it was a routine cleaning and my insurance covered everything. During my third visit, they suggested I get a night guard which I agreed to. My appointment was in November but the order was not sent out until December and I did not get the night guard until February. The pickup went relatively smoothly and I was charged the correct amount for the night guard; HOWEVER, when I received the claim details from my insurance, I saw that the dentist's office had billed me for emergency x-rays on top of the night guard. As it turned out, they accidentally charged my insurance for someone else's appointment on that same pickup date. Even though I was not charged, my insurance was billed. I wanted this formally corrected but the office suggested giving me a credit on my file for $105 so they wouldn't have to fix the claim with the insurance. I reluctantly agreed but regretted it later. I should have asked them to fix it because my fourth visit/invoice became confusing and now I'm not sure if I was overcharged again. I got a deep cleaning and was charged $150. After the credit was applied, I only paid $45. However, when I received the claim details from the insurance, the total read $96.80...so shouldn't I actually still have $53.20 credit leftover? I'm not sure why I paid $45. When I called to ask, they said they hadn't submitted a claim for another part of the deep cleaning but to date I haven't gotten any other claim details and I'm not sure what other services or charges needed to be submitted. Anyway, after all of these issues, I am reluctant to go back for another appointment. Previous dentists have charged me after the insurance claim was approved. I either pay when I go in for my next visit or I am able to pay online. I think this office may need to revisit their billing/invoicing procedures. read more
